In the recent months, Alphard had grown fond of the fights. He found them a sort of... good natured fun. Nothing meaningful, just banter, a few swings, calling it good and moving on. But with most fights came realities he didn't want to face. Tonight was one of those nights. The body of a man, starseed torn out, left to die as the body grew cold. Alphard had been too late and the nearest chaos signature was a ways off but- He raced after it, hoping maybe he could save someone. It wasn't negaverse he found but another. "Hey." He got close, scowling and arms crossed. "I would really appreciate it if you gave it back yeah?" Feet apart, ready to run if he had to to get out of the way. "Hate to have to kick your a**." Asmodeus had been seeking a Negaverse signature when an Order one interrupted her - and he looked pissed. Probably about the corpse, back there, the same one she'd hoped to avenge. It made her sick, to see people lying dead like that.
The Negaverse made her sick.
"Hey, hey, whoa," she put her hands up, "I don't have it, we're probably on the same side, here," she offered, as if that might help. Probably not. She was Chaos, too, and he didn't seem like he was doing much in the way of separating Negaverse and Dark Mirror.
"I can't pull starseeds, I swear."

Alphard was a few bulbs short of a fully lit Christmas tree, but he wasn't dumb. A dead body and a chaos agent fleeing the area? Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out just who'd done it. Plus the line about them being on the same side was bull crap. Steaming crap at that. "Like hell I'm buying that buddy." He gave a snort, eyeing her up and down. "Now hand over the starseed. I'm not about to let them die, but I'm not gonna make this a fight if it doesn't have to be." It probably would be anyway.

"I'm serious," Asmodeus said, hands still spread wide in surrender, "I don't have it, I'm not Negaverse. See, look, no holes, no ridiculous hair - it wasn't me!"
Goddamnit she did not want this to turn into a fight with an Order senshi. An Order senshi stronger than her, at that, with powers she could only guess at - at least if he'd been a Nega, she'd be able to take a good guess at how his weapon worked and plan from there. Here, she was going in entirely blind, and that would suck.
"Look, seriously, we don't have to fight, but if you really want to try to beat the s**t out of me for a starseed I don't have, we can do that too." He looked about in range for her magic, and hopefully a literal wall of fire would discourage him from continuing to get close and she could book it. That would, at least, get her gone.

Alphard was pretty sure he was being played. Like, maybe seventy percent played but played none the less. Like heck he was going to follow the ruse of 'I am not nega so it cant have been me' stuff. That was fishy on a scale of low tide to a cattle farm. "Like I said, I was not born yesterday," Maybe spiritually, he did do that whole purge thing that his buddy down at the rec center told him about a few weeks back, "And Chaos is you know, chaos. You all do this kind of stuff. Corrupt and kill and so yeah sorry, still not taking that bait." A gruff and heavy sigh, Alphard's hands lowered. "I will give you to the count of ten okay. Just- put it down and we can walk away." He had high doubts that this was going to end amicably.

Asmodeus groaned. No, no, no.
"I can't give you what I don't have!" She made a show of shaking out her fuku, as if that would do anything to convicne him. "I. Did not. Pull that starseed.I can't pull starseeds, I--" She huffed.
"You're not gonna believe me, no matter what I say, are you?" She asked.

Alphard frowned. This girl was just making things harder than it had to be. He didn't want to hit her, much less anyone but chaos was chaos right? Shoulders slumping his fingers curled into a fist as he closed the distance. "Then I guess I've got no choice. Sorry 'bout this. Not personal you know." He jumped forward, aiming to land a hit that would get her down. Knocked out was what he was hoping for but these days it was just so hard to hit people. And while he wanted to believe her, he wasn't a fool. Chaos was bad, order was good- that was just how it was... wasn't it?

Asmodeus yelped, and even though she dodged, she still took a solid hit. Her irst instinct was to get angry, to fight back, to light him up, but that would do nothing to convince him of her innocence, so instead she just threw her arms up in a defensive stance.
"I mean it!" She said. "We don't have to do this!" As if that would make him stop now, when he was so determined.
Ugh. she supposed that if he was going to keep pushing, she'd have to end it quickly. She swung a leg in a roundhouse kick, aiming for his midsection. Knock the wind out of him and run. That was it, that was her plan. It would....have to work, because she didn't have a backup.

Alphard's face twisted in a mix of conflict. He didn't like this, want this but, this was what he was supposed to do. What he'd been told to do at any rate. He kick landed and he stumbled back a ragged cough leaving him and spittle scattering to the ground. Damb the powerhouse punch of all this space steroids really took it out on you. "Then just-" He grunted, swinging again, aiming at her arms, not wanting to harm, her more than he had to. "Just run away!" He yelled. "Just run." He said, trying to not show the pain he was in from the kick, the throb that told him he'd be purple in the morning. Noir Songbird 5 year late with starbucks

Asmodeus started backing up. "I'm leaving! I'm going!" He was still throwing punches, and one impacted her arm, but that wasn't nearly as bad as what she'd probably done to him, so. You know. Fair.
She turned, and started booking it.
This was not a fight she wanted to have, and it was even less one she wanted to winl; it wasn't exactly a graceful or glorious retreat, but it would do.iStoleYurVamps i must have lost this quote but??? THROWING ON A FIN, sorry!! thank you for the rp~
