She should have bee happy, and she was, but the ways of royal life where more restrictive than she was use to, and rumors flew around the court that it was possible that she wasn't even the Kings, after all she was the daughter of a prostitute. But she would never make it to the castle as she was captured by slavers, her identify would be found out by the supposed ring leader, Zigfred, and she would be forced to become his lover until with some lucky help from her only friend Alexandria she was able to break out. She returned to the castle but for some reason wherever she went destruction followed. Soon after her return her father, Apollion was assassinated, her brother the crown prince was missing. It was by the skin of her teeth that when the Empress Catherine seized power that she and her older sister Rose where able to escape. They managed to make it just outside of Lionis before their pursuers caught up with them, they had to separate, her sister going toward Phobos and Evelyn going into Ethe, both of them hoping for asylum from the Empress...Evelyn would be able to fight off her attackers and leave them dead in the mountains that separated the capital of Ethe from the rest of the kingdom and she went to the King of Ethe and begged for sanctuary, he gave it to her but he did so behind his wife's back, he said it was for her own protection as he didn't want the Queen or his daughter to be in danger, and the King of Ethe set her up with a small house just on the outskirts of the capital with just enough money to start a safe life until things settled down. It was in this house that the first of many things happened, she first realized that she had not bled ever since her fathers assassination, the second thing that happened was she had word of her sister...she had been shot down and killed, her body forever to waste away in the Phobos Ashlands, the servant that gave Evelyn this information said it was to difficult to take the body and bring it to the Maude as the Ashlands were crawling with monsters just one month before the Drosselmeyer rebellion began Evenlyn would then have a child. It would be a stormy night that she labored, she was wracked with fear not just from having a child but the fear of the thunder and lightening almost caused both mother and child to die, but both survived. Evelyn had a small black haired child, and when he first opened his eyes he had pitch black eyes with little flecks of green floating within them, Evelyn would name her b*****d son Nero Helios Alexios Lionis...but just like everything that seemed to happen, Evelyn was once again in the wrong place at the wrong time. She would spend four months with her son before the Volcano exploded, She had been out getting groceries and had to run back to her home only to run into the house, her son wasn't in his crib, but as she ran out again she saw one of her maids running away with Nero. Evelyn was about to call out to them but she knew from her military training that that normally got people killed, so with one last look at her son she changed into her Dark Dragon form and took off, she managed to make it as far as Etherland before she had to rest...but it was far enough and she would survive Mt. Adara's eruption, now all she has to do is find her son.
Recently Evelyn got word that her son had been taken to Joachim Alexei and he had been taking care of him and treating her son, Nero, as his own. Ever since she found out where he was she has been in higher spirits and has on several occasions sent word that she would be coming to get him, however her reunion with her son has been put off for three months as she has been trying to find a place to settle down so she can take care of her son. At the year 201 Fertility festival she was named the Lady of Beauty along side The Duke Keiron Achemetha, however she left Zalto immediately after and headed for Bellris where she struck a deal with the former queen, Hysteria Bellris, and the council woman returned her maternal lands and the Bronzewell Estate to Evelyn in return for her hiding who she was and teaching Bellrisian soldiers Lionis techniques. Evelyn agreed and has since been going by the name Cyn Bronzewell, the youngest son of Isabel Bronzewell and a travelling artist. They would win the war against her Cousins, but by a strange and in a way what she considered Stupid way. Her cousin Alistair killed Azazel and released the Prisoners, agreeing to hand over the crown without any fight so long as the Innocent were to be spared. She agreed to this and was Crowned Empress. Before her coronation she held a meeting with the leaders of Zalto, Phobos, Bellris, and Ethe in order to establish some sort of stable peace, but at the meeting Ethe (lead at this time by Youkimi) decided that it would rather have independence. Without an army or any sway Evelyn was forced to agree. When she went back to the Capital and was finally crowned, two gods came forward as the mark of her reign, the God of the Moon; Cyn. And the goddess of Love. She was finally Empress and had restored her family name.
In late 203 she would have another son, another b*****d, but this time it was by Roland Bellris. She would name the Boy Leonaidas but she would not tell his father of his existence. Instead she would accept the proposal from one of the Zalton noble houses and married in early 204. The marriage wouldn't last long as that's when the Angels started to move. Her already troubled dreams began to bloat, accumulating in 205 when she awoke in the middle of killing her husband, covered in blood, the room smelling like death and in ruins. She had his death covered up so instead it looked like an assassination...blaming it on the Angels that had began to cause so much havoc.
Since then she has been ruling what remains of the Empire without much trouble or incident. Deploying and redeploying the army to different sections in an attempt to outmanoeuvre her enemy.
