 Two of Taji's sons were players and one had decided to be an announcer. At least his sons from Sayens litter. He hadn't really thought much about being anything else, though mainly since his father had been the Player Overseer so it was kind of a default thing? Your dad is the overseer so you need to be a player, or at least be involved. As their brother was an announcer after all.
He was looking for one of his brothers today though, he wanted to get a round of practice in perhaps. It would be fun to skirmish with his brother for a bit, perhaps talk about the ladies in their lives, or rather the lack of ladies in his life in particular. He just never really had the time to honestly talk to any of the ladies, so that was really his issue then. He needed a social life.

 Hali had been, as he often did in his free time, been practicing. He had to continue to better himself, otherwise, what was the point of him being here? His father was the Overseer of the sport and he was a hybrid. He had been born to be a Player, especially when whatever gods above had decided that he wasn't going to be able to reproduce.
At present, he had been running laps around the large expanse that many of the games were held. His lion strength sometimes outwayed his speed and that was something he had been working on since the sun rose. Now, he was hot and tired and in due need of a break.
He came around another time and then sat outside of the 'field', breathing heavily. He didn't have many friends, he didn't even have a proper team yet, since no coaches had approached him. It was part of the reason he needed to train all the more. If he wasn't out on a team soon, it would reflect poorly on him, but also on his father and Hali would do anything to make sure that didn't happen. He might be constantly struggling with the idea that he himself wasn't good enough to be a Player, but he would never let this on to his father, who seemed to have such pride in his sons who took up the roles Taji had in his youth. Gods, who knew playing a game could become to intense?

As he walked along he became aware he was no longer alone as the familiar sight of his brother came into view. "Hey there Hali!" He called out cheerfully, happy to see someone he knew. Which wasn't exactly hard for him, he knew just about everyone in the pride pretty much. "How have you been?" He asked him curiously. The season was kicking off pretty well so far and he was quite impressed with his skills, almost enough that he felt like he should practice more. Though that could happen later. "Anything new going on?

(Not sure if you wanted to continue this, given the disbandment of the pride. What say you? Additionally, I've also found that I actually have one of Sanosuke's full brothers, as Iqhawe was rehomed to me from SilverLutz. If you're interested in them RPing, whether it's rogue RP or backplotting in the pride, I'd be happy to.) Hali's ears perked and he looked up to see his half-brother, Sanosuke, approaching him. He was aware of the fact that his father had had many children with others, it was part of Taji's job as the Overseer, to produce strong bloodlines. Even with Hali and his littermates being infertile hybrids, they were still vital for the pride's survival. As a non-hybrid in the pride, his brother would be expected to carry on the lineage they both possessed. Hali wasn't sure if he envied him or not.
All of this was brought forward in his mind at the sight of his brother and it was so much to sort through so quickly that he nearly forgot to reply to his brother's greeting.
"Hey, Sanosuke!" He returned with a smile. "Oh, same ol', same ol'. Practice, practice, practice." His smile turned into a competitive grin, before he asked. "How about yourself?"
