Quest Codename: THELAKEHOUSE
Chosen Required: Minimum 1, maximum 3.
Setting: Canadian Rockies.
Summary: Word has filtered to the Prytaneum about a lake house in the Canadian Rockies that is supposedly starting to show the signs of a haunting. Chosen are being sent to investigate the claims and to record any strange occurrences.
Part One: Chosen are transported through the Hearth to the fireplace in the lake house, which is empty and a bit eerie. This stage is simply RP-based: have your character(s) speak to each other and set up for at least an overnight stay in this strange house. Unexpectedly, they find many signs of recent habitation; if this building is haunted, then it has only started recently. Whenever you feel ready, move to part two.

When Caleb was given an assignment to investigate some mysterious lake house in the Canadian Rockies by himself, he was a tad uneasy. For a while now, he had felt that he was lagging behind the others in the group in terms of proving himself a worthy and successful Chosen to his god, but he wouldn't dare to speak out his insecurities and self-doubts. Instead, they internalized and manifested into a strange paranoia that this mission was a suicide mission intended to send him off and never be heard from again.
In his mind, he wasn't going down alone, and invited a fellow Ares Chosen, Ed, to tag along too as protection. It wasn't that he wanted to see Ed go down with him - hell, he actually liked Ed! - but he hoped that Ed being by his side would call off any kill command.
They arrived to the lake house through the Hearth and Caleb wasted no time in setting down his large military backpack full of supplies and necessities, tossing it onto the couch in the central living room.
"You can go ahead and claim whatever room you want," Caleb insisted. "I'm just going to camp out here. Keep my eyes on everything around us that way." He set his greatsword down on the coffee table so it would be in arms reach.
"And...thanks for coming along man," he croaked.
