My name is Birgit Bergamot, and I have been chosen to be the voice that guides you through this tumultuous time.
For those of you just joining us now, we have received first contact from those threatening our time of hard-earned peace. Earlier today, our television sets were invaded by a broadcast put out by someone calling themselves “X”. They claimed to be speaking on behalf of a group of victimized people seeking revenge on our society. Here is a short clip from their speech highlighting some of the issues they touched on:
”A long time ago, your scientists took innocent stones from the cache, straight out of the arms of parents, and even resorted to stealing them from within homes. This was a project funded privately by most of your beloved people of authority.”
”They decided to tamper with dark magic. They had attempted to change a stone, shattered it, and left for the day. Most of the stones near this experiment were altered by the remaining magic.”
”The scientists awoke them. The kids that emerged were wrong. They showed a lust and need for flesh. “
”We've escaped, and we're coming. We will take back what we were denied, and you will all pay.“
Our collective governments and authorities wish to remind everyone to remain calm, and ensure us that we will be safe so long as we remain in our safehouses and do not attempt to leave.
