Well s**t. There was Renard himself.

"Oh ******** off Renard," he muttered before vanishing briefly to reappear right where the sigil had been drawn.

Now or never. He glanced at each of the others briefly, thinking about this situation as a whole. Over all, he couldn't really say he liked any of this. While the sigil and intent were different from what the original trio were attempting, a small part of him couldn't help but feel that this was just more of the same thing.

But repairing the world came before defeating the Enemy. And given how the Enemy was now in the ******** room, it was entirely possible that the two pieces were interconnected.

It was just hard to tell what the outcome of all of this would be. And he hated that. It was difficult to calculate such things when he barely knew the meaning of the variables and what they controlled. But that didn't mean he wasn't going to try his damnest. There was no way he couldn't try to fix this. Not after having taken Heliodora's life. He was obliged to do everything he could to ensure things turned out alright in the end. Could this possibly royally ******** himself over in some way? Certainly. That has never stopped him in the past, though. Not once he had his objective.

Do what must be done. By any means necessary.

He set the pendant down where Eve mentioned. If the rock was no good, as Leila pointed out, then they at least had their backup focus. A blade made of pure shadow appeared in his right hand and he made quick work to start drawing his own blood carefully to add it to the sigil. His fingers twitched from the spike of pain that accompanied this, and he closed his eyes to begin focusing.

It wasn't long ago that he could barely do anything with magic. But perhaps Jeremiah's intensive training could be put to work here. This might not have been the same vein of magic, but it was magic all the same. The basics with how to get things to work was still there.

And so he began to pour himself in, thinking hard on what he wanted from this. To bring balance back to the world, to seal the tears in the very fabric of reality. To allow life and magic to grow, but hopefully not uncontrollably. Freedom and restraint in extremes wasn't good. Order and chaos both had their place in the world. He tried to focus this towards Sunny, not Renard.
