We added a sell back to some of the cows, also some of the cows can now be used in a new alchemy formula. Some of the other kin we'll have to see about adding a sell back to.

Yes! All tiers from that tier on will have a 6 month resting period.

There's plenty of people with huge signature gifs. If the rules are a 100,000 byte limit they have to be that limit for everyone. Unfortunately not everyone knows about checking the file sizes and all that.

Can Staff PLEASE up the points for healing?
We need 2k heals for the achievement & that's really hard to do even for the most avid of achievement hunters.
I feel like the "points" for healing should be increased so it can be done in a timely manner for those who work & don't have as much free time as those who do.

The 2k heals achievement is for using the "heal" action 2,000 times, so I don't believe points should necessarily have anything to do with it?
The description LITERALLY says "2000 points"..?
Ah right, because currently heals are worth 1 point, so it's a one-to-one. Yeah, the intent was to use the heal action 2000 times. The reasoning behind it is we assumed that given the event is two weeks, and that Gaians normally participate for more than an hour each day in the event, it would be a feasible task. It would certainly take time to accomplish no doubt, but doable within the two week time frame.
Unfortunately we can't change the heal points without it retroactively applying, so it would throw the balance off wildly. However, it's something we can keep in mind for future events and bring back with different parameters.

We're still working on some other fixes, as it's supposed to populate with 100 items, not 30, so it may be a little bit before we're back to the normal schedule, but we'll try to get to it to add at least some new items from time to time.

If you created the Generator Ticket, which is basically a paid for version of the community RIG contests that staff have been holding some time for free does that mean that community contests would be axed in favor of the paid method? I feel as if this is the eventual fate of such contests as the Gen Ticket's price has dropped over 50% since its debut, essentially saying that you're encouraging people to buy it.

Is there any way to put repeat buyers who have an outstanding purchase history with Gaia Online to be placed on a White List of some type? Whenever a user purchases a large enough amount of GC to buy a ticket, their pass is disabled. These sales always occur outside of business hours meaning their passes are disabled all night. This interrupts their vending and other activities on the website and it is NOT for first time buyers. It is every time on a purchase (i believe) above 100USD worth of GC. I have gotten the freeze on a $60 purchase before (but was a larger amount of GC thanks to sales).
In the past Gaia had a system where first time buyers had their GC and items purchased with it frozen to their account for a time. Couldn't we just do that?

I understand you don't want to IP ban the user, but it is becoming a bothersome for not only the users who got their trade disabled but also for you guys to repeat the investigation over and over.

We're working on a way to identify what is going on and stopping it for good.

The Jack Bags are the only way to get Watermeat. However, Milky Way will stay as a permanent stage, and you can compete to get him even after the event. <3

Question: Will gaia ever create a system where users can keep track of their ticket submission progress? I know that recently you guys set up a sort of "confirmation email" that stated you guys received our ticket email submissions, but that's just not enough. Everyone, including myself would like to see some changes, and I feel maybe creating a way for users to check on the progress of their recolor/item/ticket would be great for everyone. This would resolve the issue of users resending emails (bc they never received a confirmation email or felt gaia never received it in the first place) and would resolve the issue of users constantly emailing to check the status of their submission. I think gaia should really do something about this, please and thank you! heart

We are working on implementing some changes at the moment, but the reality of the situation is that the emails that you receive are the closest thing to updates we can give. We cannot offer more than the approval of your ticket, your mocks, and then your finished item.
It should be said though, that not many emails get lost or not sent, even if they do not receive the confirmation email. There have only been about less than a dozen that have not been received, so it is not a common issue.

It's the first of the month, so it's actually the same bug that's been going on. It will continue to let you make entries in each runway as many times as you want as long as the fee is paid, and won't confirm that you've entered ^^;

The drops may change slightly, however I believe you will be able to get Watermeat after the event!

What's with the achievement points for the event? The hardest one, the Level 10 achievement, is only worth 50 points. Even the level 5 achievement seems extremely low (a measly 25 points). Can we get a change for this? Along that note, for future knowledge, is it even possible for achievement point total to be changed after the achievement is released?

It's possible, but we normally don't adjust after release. We can think about doing this though.

We do not allow someone to pay to have their account unbanned, the only exception to this rule is if your account is banned for making fraudulent Gaia Cash purchases. If your account is banned for that, then we will allow you to pay back what you owe from the fraud (plus any applicable fees) and have your account returned to you.

Any tickets regarding payments are typically handled within one day. I've taken a look at your closed ticket and it looks like you didn't reply within four days of our reply. In cases like that, the ticket gets closed. You can reopen it by replying to it.

Please take a look at how unhappy people are about the watermeat kin situation.
I think it would make a lot of players happy if you guys who work on kindred
would adjust some aspects of how people can go about obtaining this kin.
I've linked my own feedback thread along with some other peoples threads as well about it
in both kindred and feedback forum with people having different problems rooting
around the same thing.

I am relieved that it will be up for grabs even after the event is over
so people will have the luxury of continue to keep trying to get it.

Are you working on the Paypal issue? I'm asking because I bought 30K GC when the Rainbow Ticket was on offer for 29.9K GC and the tier thing was up. But I didn't get my GC, had to file a ticket. So... I missed out on a project rainbow ticket AND the tier thing because of a PayPal error thats now happened TWICE to me.
It's really frustrating, when you buy a huge amount for something and can't have it cause of a error via systems etc. Now I have to wait for the rainbow ticket again and missed out on the tiers :'(

We've pushed a patch that might address some of the issues we've seen, we're hoping it fixes that. In the mean time, rest assured that if this does happen to you, simply mention what you were hoping to do in the billing ticket you file and we'll be able to properly credit you with everything you were hoping to get.

Could we possibly receive word about the Jump Ticket rather than its questions being buried in this thread? Its rules remain in the tickets megathread, so clarification on it returning, it being addressed due to the influx of threads expressing displeasure at its creation, or it being 86'd completely would be optimal due to the rising tensions between the userbase that actively obtain tickets and staff ever since its debut. Creating such a schism in the community and not attempting to fix it after such an incident could cause trouble in the long run.

We have heard your feedback and opted to remove the item from the Cash Shop while we reassess the item, the item may or may not return in the future with modified rules/purpose. Thank you for your thoughts/opinions on it!

We realized that the leaderboard wasn't accounting for username changes, so it was possible to "manipulate" the leaderboard by changing your name. We've fixed that and the leaderboard will fix up itself as people move back up.
