Sezarra stepped onto the sand of Matori, the long journey not showing on her young self at all, of course she had ridden her janarim most of the way, she had quite the escort but for now she sent them all away to hunt, they knew better then to mess with the people and their pets so they would only go after wild things.
She marched into her first Matorian market and started to inspect every little thing with utter glee. She loved the colors here, the blues and greens were just spectacular after the colors she had grown up with in Jauhar. She was finally here! It had taken so long and she had finally just up and left, left her parents a note and skeedaddled right out of there, she had spent a little while in Oba but Matori bordered Yael and Yael is where she wanted to go for a long time.
However now that she was in Matori, she thought she would chill here for a bit.

Gahiji couldn't help but to think that he was slowly dying inside from boredom. It was only the fact that Kinte said they could look at weapons today that kept him from falling over dead or from sneaking off to find something more interesting to do. He didn't want to just stand around all day starring at various booths full of things that held zero interest to him. Even worse was how much time they were spending at the present booth that was filled with nets of all things. Giving a grumbling sound he sank down so that he was squatting down, elbows on his knees, head resting in his hands, waiting on Kinte who was haggling. Haggling! Why? Surely the price on the net should be something tolerable enough that they could afford it without all of the run around... yet Kinte and the salesman insisted upon the dance. It would shave a few coins off at the most but apparently that was worth it somehow despite how it might very well be the death of Gahiji. He could be doing something else, anything else t the moment. He could be out hunting down a yaotl to have an epic duel with or something! Anything was better then this... As if his prayers were answered by the Queen of the Gods herself he found himself starring at a really weird looking earthling. She was like nothing else that he'd seen before and that in and of itself interested him and soon enough he was stalking along after the white haired woman, eager to figure who and what she was and if she was worth picking a fight with. If she looked strong then it was a definite possibility and if not... well, he'd just move on and find a more interesting target.

Sezarra flitted from booth to booth like a hummingbird, she bought a little pouch and a new notebook, as hers had filled up on the trip over and then she felt a prickling between her shoulder blades. She was being followed. She peered around trying to find what had targeted her. A person? A critter? It would be more fun if it was a critter, maybe she could keep it? Unlikely though in a busy market..it was probably a person. But why would they be following her. She flicked her hair, well, if they wanted to play, she would show them a merry chase, she started to move faster use distractions and some patented shifter melting into the background techniques, these of course worked much better in the jungle she was from, but they still came in useful elsewhere too. Finally she returned to her janarim and waited on the other side of her. The radaku were nowhere to be seen having sensed the game and were hiding as well.

Gahiji blinked a couple times, watching as the strange looking Earthling started forward. Where was she going? Had she seen him? Did she know that he was following? She was leading him on! His eyes went wide at the thought before he started to hurry forward as quickly as her feet would take him while still being as sneaky as his excitement would allow him to be. The girl seemed as though she wanted to play, which made her that much more interesting in Gahiji's mind. He was following along after her, curious about where she might be going. After a time he seemed to lose track of the girl, which had him sighing a bit. She was... gone? Hiding? Where was she now? He could see a rather massive, scaly beast... and that might be something to go after in the girl's stead he thought to himself, a smile appearing on his face. Even if she'd vanished at least there was a scaly monster to fight! Squatting down he started to creep forward toward the beast, pausing only when he realized that the creature had the wrong amount of legs... not to mention some of the legs were those of an Earthling. Had he found her?! Something that caused him to sink down closer to the ground, moving forward more slowly now, hiding where he could, as he sought an opening to pounce.

Well this sucked, she couldn't see anything behind her janarim, Seze squatted down to look and came face to face with.."AHAH! So you were the one following me, whats your problem pal, never seen a shifter girl before?" Come to think of it, he was pretty interesting looking himself. A hybrid of some sort? Devilishly handsome? Poor her..being followed by cute boys..there could be worse things she mused as she stared at the boy waiting for his answer as they both crouched nearly under her janarim. Matori was turning out to be more interesting then she had anticipated. Reinreil turned and nuzzled her and she patted the huge head, it was reassuring to her that her janarim who was formerly angsty around men didn't bother to snap at the boy yet. But there was a first for everyone. It was still progress to her. Seze walked around the familiar and eyed the lad properly. "My name is Sezarra of Jauhar, a pleasure..i think to meet you."

Gahiji froze in place as his 'prey' ducked down and the two of them were suddenly face to face, eye to eye, and she was talking to him. His fin like ears gave a twitch before he gave a humming sound, then said, "Never seen one." So she was a 'Shifter' then? Interesting. Nothing he'd ever seen of or heard of before. Taking a couple of hopping steps back before he pushed up to his full height, starring the Shifter woman down as she came around the familiar to stand face to face with him. So she was actually going to come and face him, huh? Brave one, wasn't she? He was twitching a bit, that desire to pounce battling it out with the fact that he knew he probably should talk with her. She was face to face with him, chatting him up, and doing anything violent out of no where would make him a monster. That meant he missed his opportunity... damn it... "Eh? Sezarra of Jauhar." He repeated, ears twitching again, wondering for a moment where Jauhar might be. He had zero clue but he'd admit he was a bit curious. Lifting a hand he patted it against his chest and said, "I'm Gahiji."
