Jolanta didn't want to be a bother to Doctor Tacrith, feeling as though the man's time was better spent taking care of Priestess Fallon. She was someone very important to the Yaelian people after all while he was merely the soldier tasked to looking after her. It was more important that she was tended to first... but his Aunt Vae didn't seem to feel the same. It was due to her influence that he found himself heading toward the Doctor's place at the moment.

He'd just see about popping in, having the man look at the wounds he'd got during his fight against the pinked skinned archer, and then he'd be on his way. If the chance came up though he might have to ask the man about Priestess Fallon. He wanted to know how she was doing, if she was going to recover, and if she was even awake yet. If she was awake was she really focused or was she still hallucinating? There were many things that he wanted to ask but it all really depended on the Doctor and if he was really busy. He didn't want to take up any more of his precious time then this visit already would, especially since one of his patients was a Priestess.

These thoughts all swirling in his mind the various serious faced Jolanta lifted a hand, knocking on the door to Doctor Tacrith's place.

Within the door, a larger man looked over and pulled the block open. The man looked Jolanta over before inclining his head silently to encourage Jolanta inside.

Tacrith was actually standing at the front desk, discussing a current patient's needs with a nurse. Finished, he turned to head back down the hall again, pausing when he saw the movement at the door. It took a double take fro him to recognize the man standing there. He seemed to give a little sigh of relief before waving his hand to gesture Jolanta forward. "I was wondering when you would be back. Are you here only to see Fallon, or can I look you over this time?"

Jolanta gave the large man a long, thoughtful look before he finally stepped inside. He didn't really want to bother Doctor Tacrith but since someone was so quick to open the door then maybe the visit wasn't going to be a massive bother? That was his hope at least as he came to followed the large man who didn't strike him as a doctor. Was he some sort of guard? Might be a good idea with as dangerous as the area around Pajore was becoming these days he thought to himself. If only he had many others to help him out when it came to protecting those within not only the Sanctum but also the whole of Pajore. He was starting to realize that he couldn't protect everyone by himself but it wouldn't stop him from trying.

As he spotted Doctor Tacrith and seeing the manner in which he was waving at him Jolanta moved toward him. Huh, the man was wondering when he'd be back? That was a bit of a surprise. Had he really expected him to return? Giving a little shake of his head he said, "Were it not for my Aunt Vae's insistence I wouldn't have come. I don't want to bother you while you are serving the Priestess Fallon." He told him, lifting a hand to rest it against one of the bandages he was wrapped in before he said, "I have a few wounds that I was told to get looked at. Mostly cut but from arrows I couldn't quite dodge and one puncture where I failed to dodge entirely."

Lowering his arms to his side he said, "So long as you have a free moment and it isn't a bother then I would ask for a quick check up?" If only to get his aunt off his back about it.

"Good of your aunt," Tac mused. Looking Jolanta over briefly as the injuries were described, he nodded and turned to head down the hall toward a free exam room. "Fallon should be resting right now. I have time." At least, he really hoped Fallon was resting! She better be.

"It's only a bother if there is nothing wrong with you. You can't afford to take injuries lightly; especially when you're supposed to be someone's guardian," he admonished flatly, glancing back at the swordsman. Considering the reverence with which he referenced Fallon, the man probably served her somehow. The tougher they were, the more likely they would ignore their injuries... "This room is clear. Sit up on the table and I'll have a look."

"She is? That's good." He murmured, glad that hear that the Priestess was resting. That meant that she was going to recover, right? At least that was what he hoped that it meant. He wanted her to get back on her feet so that she could return to being her usual cheerful, if clumsy self. A thought that he pushed aside as he didn't want to think too hard on it. She was now in the Doctor's care, not that of Jolanta. She'd be back in his care once her treatment was through, which was something he hoped would happen sooner then later for Priestess Fallon's sake.

As he followed along he took in everything around him before turning back to the Doctor as he found himself being scolded, "Be that as it may my injuries are nothing like those of Priestess Fallon. The only similarity is that they were made my the same sort of weapon." Her wounds were worse and should be treated before his own.

Walking over to the table that the Doctor motioned to he settled down on it and then asked, "Should I unwrap the bandages then so that you can look the wounds over?" The only one that he was worried about was the one where the arrow actually buried itself in his upper arm but that was only because he'd seen what an arrow had done to Priestess Fallon.

Tac sighed and shook his head. "That does not warrant waiting. A few hours, perhaps, but I am not the only healer here, so you know. When you dropped her off, you looked like you needed more than a nap. ..Though, I suppose most of that initial mess was from the lady?" His eyes softened slightly, but he was facing the storage closet by then. Fallon's shoulder had been such a mess... and her state of mind wasn't too certain at the moment either.

Moving things around in the closet, he pulled out what he needed before shaking his head, gaze firm again. "I will do that for you." On the nearby table, he set a couple bottles and clean cloths. "Tell me which one is the puncture. I will start there, and move on to the more superficial ones."

Jolanta thought for a moment on his moment of weakness after he'd dropped Priestess Fallon off and he gave a slow nod of his head, "A nap was in order, yes." He paused for a moment, seeming to struggle with his words before he finally said, "Yes... the blood that day was not mine..." Something that chilled him a little having to say it because it wasn't something he wanted to think back on. Being stained with the blood of the person that he was supposed to protect merely pointed out that he'd failed in his duty to her... but so had the Sanctum. If the Priestess was leaving Pajore for an extended amount of time they should have given her a proper escort.

Words he kept to himself though. The last thing he wanted to do was bad mouth those he served just because he didn't agree with some of their decisions. As the other asked which was the puncture he lifted a hand to pat it lightly against his upper arm, "It's this one here. It was the only arrow I failed completely in dodging so it was the only one that really got stuck." As he was told to leave the rest to the Doctor he allowed his hands to rest in his lap, uncertain what else to do with them at the moment.

Tac watched the man thoughtfully, curious about such a strong reaction. Jolanta certainly took his work seriously, and probably cared for his charge, or charges, very much. ..What was that like?

Rather than ask pointless questions though, he set to work carefully peeling away the bandages from the upper arm. "The skin is healing to the bandage. This may sting." Actually, it darned well would sting. Using a small blade, he scraped off both the bandage and whatever scab had formed on it. He had to make sure the puncture was clean, and he couldn't do that with a scab there; and merely yanking the bandage could have torn healthy skin right with it. Next up was poking around inside the puncture, scraping and rinsing out the bad build-up.

He waited until he was putting a fresh bandage over the wound that he cleared his throat. "If you have some time, I believe it would be beneficial to both of you if you visited Fallon." He started pulling off the other bandages, the skin only sticking a little this time around. "I can take you to see her when I have finished this."

As he was told the skin was healing to the bandage Jolanta couldn't help but to wrinkle his nose a little bit as that didn't sound good. Especially when he was told that it would sting to remove. He gave a half shrug with the art the doctor wasn't working on and said, "I understand." No hard feelings, it was just what came along with removing the bandage he supposed. He turned to watch as Doctor Tacrith set about removing the bandage, as well as the scab, and then set about examining his wound in a rather hands on manner. Jolanta wasn't a fan of the pain but he said nothing about it, sitting as still as possible as Doctor Tacrith went about his work.

It was only after the wound had been cleaned out thoroughly that the man spoke up again, this time about the Priestess. He was suggesting that he go and visit her and Jolanta couldn't help but to give a little humming sound, "You don't think that I would be bothering her rest?" The idea wasn't one that sat well with Jolanta but if the doctor was suggesting it then perhaps it would be alright?

As he was told that Doctor Tacrith could bring him to her after he was done he said, "Perhaps, so long as she isn't asleep when we get there. If she is I can always return another day." Her rest was far, far more important then a random visitor. Besides if he could just peek in on her, make sure she was breathing, that would put his mind at ease.

Tacrith sighed as he wiped a damp towel over the scars. "Rest is not the only way for a person to heal. She could use the company." If only she would truly let herself rest! Not that he could discuss too much with Jolanta, but he hoped the interaction would give Fallon's frazzled mind a focus. "Besides, you won't be taking her anywhere. Just a visit." Setting his hand on the man's back, he cast a healing spell to help the healing process along. Being at a lower level of power, it wouldn't do too much; but enough to help ease the pain and clear away a couple of the shallower cuts.

"There. You should be feeling a little better," he offered, cocking his head to see the effect. It was still newer to him, after all! "If she sleeps, you're welcome to return. Please be sure to return though." As he was corking up the bottles, he couldn't help his curiosity. "Tell me... were they able to find the sister?"

Jolanta gave a slow nod of his head as he was told that the company might help the Priestess out. It was something that had him thinking hard on the idea. Should he go and check in on her then? Doctor Tacrith gave a rather convincing argument, didn't he? After a long moment of thought he finally said, "I think a little visit should be alright." He did want to check up on her after all.

His thoughts were interrupted by the unexpected sensation that went along with being healed through magical means. Turning to glance toward Doctor Tacrith for a moment he watched him, then turned his attention to his wounds, watching as the more shallow cuts seemed to knit themselves back together, leaving behind just some white lines that would heal with time or in a couple cases ridding him of the wounds all together. "Huh..." That was unexpected, but it seemed that the doctor needed to make sure his wounds were clean first before sealing them shut. It made him wonder for a moment if he'd done the same for the Priestess or if her wounds were too severe for such a thing.

Such things were forgotten at the mention of 'the sister'. Turning to look at Doctor Tacrith he found himself starring at him for a long moment before he asked, "What do you mean? What sister?" There was another person lost out there? Why hadn't he been told?!

It was a relief to hear Fallon would get a visitor. After all, it wasn't as though he had sent for Jolanta. Fallon couldn't object to that.

Putting the last bottle away, he froze at Jolanta's questions. What sister? He looked over at the bandaged man with a furrowed brow. "I had a letter sent to the sanctum. Fallon claimed that she was out there with a sister when they were attacked. Have you heard nothing?"

Jolanta gave a little shake of his head, "I was sent out to look for Priestess Fallon initially, then when I went out today it was my aunt, myself, and a couple others from Pajore and not the Sanctum, looking not for another missing person but instead for the one that had attacked the Priestess. The outsiders and the invaders are all getting far too close for comfort and I don't care for it." It was a dangerous situation and already there were those who had been hurt by the outsiders. Who was to say that it wasn't going to get worse before it got better?

Giving a sigh he said, "Once I am through with my visit with the Priestess I will return to the Sanctum and see what can be done about her missing sister." He said, then after a thoughtful moment he then asked, "Should I wait to question Priestess Fallon about the matter? It might stress her out otherwise, right?" He wanted to do what was best for her in this situation and a part of him said that it was him checking up on her and keeping topics light. Were he to ask about her sister it might have a negative effect upon her health and her recovery. Best to check with the doctor to see what he thought about everything.

Tac hesitated, leaning against the cabinet to think. Fallon would surely be distressed to hear Jolanta knew nothing... but the man did have a reason for that. "If she brings it up, just tell her the truth. You have not been to the sanctum for a few days. If she becomes too agitated by the subject, the nurses with her will know what to do. ..I don't recommend bringing it up, yourself." He sighed and pushed away from the cabinet. "I still would like you to see her. First though, how are you feeling now?"

Jolanta gave a slow nod of his head as Doctor Tacrith told him that he shouldn't bring it up himself and that if she brought it up he should tell her the truth. He wasn't sure if he should be keeping secrets from the Priestess Fallon... but if the doctor thought that it was for the best then he would follow his lead. If it was best for Priestess Fallon then he would do it he thought to himself, "I will do whatever is best for her, if that is what you think that I should do then I will, Doctor Tacrith."

After giving himself a once over he gave a slow nod of his head and said, "I am feeling much better now, thank you." While he'd felt bad about bothering the doctor before he'd arrived he had to admit that it had been a good call by his aunt. This allowed him to get back on his feet a lot faster then he might have been able to do on his own. Giving a nod of his head the ever serious Jolanta said, "I do thank you for your assistance as it will allow me to return to serving those of the Sanctum far more quickly. I was worried that I might not be able to keep up with any requests that they had of me before but now I no longer have such worries." He'd be able to return to work sooner then later, meaning his position as the Sanctum's paladin wasn't in danger.
