For a single night, strange bats descended on Destiny City after construction disturbed their nest! They flew over Destiny City's Fall Festival and a few nearby locations, descending on the local populace and attacking anyone they could. Being bitten by these bats leaves two small marks that will itch for a few hours. Then, anyone bitten will feel exhausted and fatigued. They become extremely sensitive; skin feels like it becomes overheated in sunlight, and bright lights are painful to the eyes. The victim will feel constantly cold and hungry, no matter how much they eat or drink. They may also be prone to agitation and bouts of violence. These afflictions may last only a few hours or a few days and then suddenly disappear. Destiny City can find no explanation for the sickness, and it has been unofficially dubbed 'The Vampire Sickness'. If you were bitten, how are you handling this? Is someone you know suffering the affliction? Are you convinced it's a conspiracy or joke, and just media frenzy?

“Nooooo, no more needles, nooooo.” Evren made winey noises as she got another shot and to be only told that she’ll have to go for more blood work. “Nooooooo.” When they finished up she they rolled her back to the room that she they were going to keep her for the duration of her stay.

“Now Evren we know no one enjoys being in a hospital but we need to keep you here until everything checks out okay.” Evren pouted some more as she was kept under close eye even as she got back in the cot to make sure she didn’t pass out again. Pulling the sheet over her head she did not respond to the nurse. “Now Evren dear if anything does not feel right be sure to press the button and someone will assist you… do you want me to bring you a snack?” Under the covers Evren made a small nodding notion. “Alright I’ll come back with something for you in a little while… try to get some rest, okay.” And with that the door closed and Evren peeked out from under the covers.

“Man where the lights always this bright in here?” She mumbled to herself before going to reach over to get the remote for the television. With a click she turned it to the news as she messily wrapped the covers around her like a cocoon. It all seemed to be pointless dribble from the attack that she was in not too long ago... Evren mused and glanced around the curtain to see if there was a roommate… seeing as the bed had yet to be occupied she decided it must be safe to muse to herself. “I wonder if those bats where actually one of those monster things… well no doubt someone from the senshi will be investigating it so I will probably figure out sooner or later.”

Stomach growling Evren laid back and let her eyes flutter close. She was just so tired from the attack… she wondered if she really did get sick from that bat bite. When her eyes reopened she realized she had been asleep rubbing her eyes her nurse made her way back into the room. “Here you go Evren a nice meal to help you regain some energy before we get you down for your next round of blood work.” Evren made a face like she had been betrayed in the worst way possible. The food was set down in front of her and she dug in as slowly as she could… but her hunger took over and she quickly scarfed down the meal as the nurse brought the wheel chair over.

The meal cleared away Evren was then back in the wheel chair and on her way out of the room and down the hall. “We are trying to get this done as quickly as possible Evren we’re also going to give you your next set of shots as well right after so it’ll be over and done with as soon as possible.” Evren then started up her whining again.

“Noooooo.”
