Luckily, it seemed that the Zeus dorm followed the policies of the Aphrodite dorm (and the others if truth be known) and kept the main doors open to allow guests to wander in and out at will. Misha had no problem getting into the building with her neatly wrapped parcel. Then, thanks to the neat labels beside the doors, she found the one she sought in next to no time. Smiling to herself, she shifted her burden to one arm and lifted her newly freed hand to smooth a loose wave of dark hair back behind her ear. Then she reached down to flick a bit of fluff from the lightweight violet v-neck sweater she wore and adjusted the pendant at her throat.

Her smile slid more towards an expectant grin, barely suppressed as she knocked on the door. She certainly hoped Mal was home. She had washed, ironed, and wrapped his shirt especially for a surprise thank you. She had also made cookies and, if they didn't reach their recipient immediately, she could not promise their further lifetime. She did so love chocolate chip cookies!

He was home. He answered the door expecting someone else, probably, because his glasses were tucked up into his hair and he was grinning like he was expecting... someone. But there was still pleasure on his face when he saw it was Misha, and not whoever he expected.

"Hey. Come in. Excuse the mess." He held the door open for her. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, not the usual suit, and Mal was even actually barefoot. It made him look surprisingly vulnerable. He gestured Misha toward his side-- which was neat, with everything stored in boxes. His new glasses frames were tortoiseshell, instead of a plain color.

"Mess?" Misha echoed as she stepped into the room and looked around before turning back to him with a raised eyebrow. "Mal, hon, if this is a mess, I would hate to see what it looks like when it's your definition of neat and tidy." She dropped the package in her arms to rest against one cocked hip, her weight shifted to a comfortable stance. Laughter lit her light eyes. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"

She made him laugh, but he combed fingers through his hair, pushing the edge of it out of his eyes. "Nothing big. Ordering more glasses." He seemed to be losing a pair every time they did something big. If the trend continued, Mal would rather have more pairs on hand. "What can I do you for?"

"That is a very dangerous question to ask a girl, you know. You should be more careful." One corner of Misha's full mouth curled up a bit wickedly. Then, just as quickly, the air of suggestive naughtiness lightened and she held out her packages to him. Her smile melted into pure sweetness. "I come bearing gifts for the chivalrous gentleman who saved my virtue."

Somehow she managed to keep a completely straight face during the delivery of the line.

She managed to keep a straight face-- but Mal didn't. He smiled and grinned and then laughed, outright. "As if we both don't know that you are perfectly capable of saving your own virtue, or not, as you please."

But he took the packages, and nodded. "Desk chair isn't great, but it's comfortable enough, or there's the bed to sit on." Mal was a hedonist; the sheets peeking out from under the plush comforter were a lush, vibrant tropical blue. He started in on the wrapping immediately, of course.

"Aww, shucks. You hardly know me and you already have such a high opinion of my self control." Misha laughed. "I'm flattered. I hope I don't disappoint."

With that, she turned and considered the seating options on offer as Mal started to tear into the package. The blue caught her eye, however, and she could not quite manage to resist it. She always was a sucker for bright colors. Plus she wondered how soft it was. Would Mal be the sort who paid attention to thread-counts? Casting a quick smile over her shoulder to check his status, Misha flopped down with a sigh to sit on his bed. Then she watched with amusement as Mal discovered his laundered and pressed shirt as well as a separate container of a good two dozen chocolate chip cookies.

"Never," was all he said, but he popped open the container immediately and took a cookie, offering one to her, too, with a smile around the one in his mouth. He resealed the container after and put it on his desk to check the shirt.

"Already laundered and everything?" Misha might not know Mal well, but they had clicked immediately. She might be able to tell that he was slightly disappointed by -- something. Certainly not the cookies, though.

And his sheets were about as soft as Egyptian Cotton got-- an 800 thread count and taking good care of them would do that.

At the strange, subtle note in his words, Misha looked up from her contemplation of his sheets with a raised eyebrow. She tipped her head to one side and studied his face. When he offered a cookie, though, she held out a hand to accept while balancing her weight to one side, braced on the other straightened arm. "Thank you," she said.

Then she paused and pursed her lips in an almost-pout. A teasing light in her eyes kept it from being too seriously but she was curious now at his reaction and wanted to draw more out of him about it. "Uh oh," she breathed. "I did something now. You're not allergic to my detergent, are you? I know it's not manly but..."

He laughed, actually, and tucked the shirt over his arm so he could lean down and kiss the corner of her mouth. Chocolate chip cookie kisses, mmm. So he did it a second time, because he could. "Not at all. I was hoping to get it back smelling like you, is all. It's a nice feeling to know a beautiful woman has decided to wear one of my shirts."

And maybe it's a Thing for Mal, seeing a lady in his shirt and not much else. He'll never tell.

Oh, so that was it. Misha started to chuckle but then Mal came close for a quick peck to the edge of her smile. It surprised her and clearly suited him because he immediately returned for a second. As he drew away, looking more than a little pleased with himself, she rolled her eyes. Her smile grew, however, and she smoothly readjusted her weight to sit upright. Her arm freed, she reached out a hand to rub her thumb over his bottom lip. "Bit of chocolate there," she explained and he could almost see the halo projected over her head with the innocent tone.

Then she sat back again and brought her own cookie up for a nibble. "You know, if it's such a disappointment, Mal, you can give the shirt back and I'll wear it around for a while before handing it over again."

Mal laughed-- there was a spark of something warmer than friendly in his eyes. "Sounds like a plan to me, darlin'." He offered the shirt, folded as it was over his arm. "Want this one, or a different?" He had all sorts of colors, but he thought the blue looked the best on her.

Misha finished her cookie while eyeing first the shirt and then the man offering it. Then, her gaze never leaving him, she deliberately licked imaginary melted chocolate chip residue from her fingertips. "Hmm, I guess it's up to you," she answered. "I probably shouldn't be borrowing one that you wear all of the time. You might miss it and come looking for it... In the middle of the night or something."
