'CAUSE I'M HYPED FOR SPLA2N
Seriously, though, how do you guys feel about the upcoming Splatoon sequel for the Nintendo Switch? I have to admit, I'm very concerned about players possibly having to use individual Joy-Cons to play the game -- like, dang, those things are tiny -- but overall, I'm excited about the potential. New weapons! Splatfest resurrections! Hair!
I don't know if the NX's specs are going to be any better than the Wii U's, so I can't help but wonder about the visual quality of the new Splatoon. Of course, it would be kind of silly to make a game that's graphically inferior to its old counterpart...

You weren't able to play two people online on one console so I don't see you using an individual one. I'm worried about how they're gonna have all of the gamepad usages with one screen, though. Super jumping to three people and to beakons, inkstriking and watching for ink trails are all very important and needed the gamepad. I just wonder how they will implement all this and do it in a good way. I still wonder if this is a sequel or just an updated version, as well. I feel it's too soon for a sequel and they'd need a ton of content for that. I could see this just being an update with hair, pants, weapons, clothes and some new maps. Either way I'm excited for it!

 Splatoony-toon. I am extremely excited about it. I don care if its just a update or its an actual new game (There is a good chance it will be considering how popular splatoon was and still is). I mean we get HAIR AND PANTS!!! Something a lot of us squibs wanted in the very beginning. Cudos to Nintendo for listening to what the players wanted. But yeah the touch screen controls is what really worries me. I use it a lot as a sniper to follow ink-trails (I'm a "Gamepad cheater" according to someone ninja ) Other then that. Seeing all the new shiz that can be seen just from a few moments in a video.. The hype is to real. All aboard the hype train

Yessss. The hype is real! My fingers are going to be dying from drawing! I've seen a lot of people are happy to see their squibs hair finally be in the game! I am curious though... The Splatoon tumblr said that these were "a new species of squid," So I wonder the other differences between these new models and the old ones. (Ahh! Just think of how the kraken might look now ; V ; ) I also see that some old hats/shirts/shoes are coming back, so that's nice. We meet again.. cyan shoes... With that said, apprently the Switch will have Amiibo compatibility, so hopefully we can get new things from them again. I wonder if they've also added speculator mode, or even hang out spots for friends, since that's something people have asked for as well. I have to say though... Where are the octolings Nintendo? >:C
I wonder about game play, however. We saw that Spla2n was a game you can take on the go with you, so I'm gonna also assume you can play is on the TV also. So I'm kinda curious how the controller is gonna work. You have the Joy-Con Grip, the Joy-Cons in two hands, holing them side-ways, and even the pro controller. That's 4 different ways to possibly play this game!
Specs and price however.. will remain a mystery until next year.

Looks like you might have to stop cheating and only rely on skillz!!1! razz Never thought about changing krakens to look like they have the hairstyles, that's a neat idea. Oh, spectator mode would be great. Uploading matches would be really cool too. You can in Smash and in MK8 so it was real lame you couldn't in Splatoon. Maybe they're holding off on revealing octolings? In the story mode it goes on about how inklings and octolings are enemies so maybe there will be another story mode and they make up with each other and you unlock them then? We can only hope so. I also hope they come up with an actual good way to communicate with friends on the Switch. We have Miiverse and you can message people, but it's easy to miss and who even bothers to check it?

When i first saw it i just FREAKED OUT. I told all of my friends and my brother and boyfriend, and me and my friends who play got so hyped together thinking about all the new additions, while my boyfriend and brother tried to tell me its not Splat2n, and its not going to happen, and not to get my hopes up.
Kinda a buzzkill, but I still think there's a new game on the way. Especially after the sudden cancellation of Splatfest and such, right after the game started getting a bit more popular, and them saying no more updates. I had lots of hope for a tease like this.
Im so excited to see all the new clothing, weapons, and hairstyles and maps, but im also hoping for an expanded story mode that maybe lasts longer, and you can continue to play over and over for when there's maintenance's and still are thirstin' to ink.

I was actually feeling rly upset lately because i never got to play splatoon. I got the wii U really late because i was too depressed to want to play anything when it was new but before i could afford to buy another game for my wii U (splatoon ovs) i had to move to the USA and had to sell my Wii U because i couldnt plug it into the walls there and it would become obsolete by the time we moved back to italy and new hairstyles????? Im so excited. You really brightened my day with this news tysm

I just thought of this, but if they're hiding octoling, what about the Squid Sisters? Since it's a new species of squid, do you think they'll still be there? Maybe they'll have some new hair/outfits? And what about DJ Octavio? Is he still trapped in a snow globe? I hope they expand on this story more. If they make a new one, however, I hope it at least gives us more information about the past.; -;
Same about communications. I barely use Miiverse unless I see it pop up. That and Miiverse brought along quite a few.. creepsWhy thank ya! ; v;
