Battle post Jolanta: Swordsman Health: 19/23 Attk: (+4) || Def: (10 + 3) || Magic: (+1) || Spd: 1-11 (+1) Opponents Def: 11
Special Attacks:
Downward Slash: This attack gives you an additional +3 to dmg only. || Can be used every 3 turns. || Considered a full action.
Attempts a Dodge?
10 + 1 = 11, half dmg
Jolanta's attack: 4 + 9 = 13, hits Jolanta's Dmg: ( 4 + 6 )/4 = 2.5 dmg
Jolanta had gone out early on the behest of the Sanctum to search the area with a few others to see if there was any sign of the Alkidike that had attacked the Priestess. He'd gone first to where he'd found Priestess Fallon, getting chills as he arrived, before the search began from there. The woman was unlikely to still be around, right? After attacking the Priestess the Alkidike had likely retreated like a coward back to where she'd come from, right? That was at least what had made the most sense to the swordsman.
The search seemed to be turning up the same thing, telling him that whoever had been here, whoever had attacked the Priestess, was probably gone. They had done a hit and run, a most cowardly act, but if nothing else it had given Priestess Fallon a chance, right? She'd survived because whoever had shot her had run away instead of finishing off the job. They were cowardly, but it had allowed him to at least find the Priestess and along with the doctor it gave her a fighting chance.
Just as he was about to give up he heard something, the sound of a 'twang' that went along with the release of a bow string. Jolanta whirled around toward the sound, while lunging to once side. He almost made it out of the way of the arrow but it was able to slice through the pants he wore, along with some flesh, leaving a deep gouge in his leg. He looked at the wound, looked at the archer that had caused it, and for a moment saw red. Drawing his sword Jolanta charged at the archer, taking a swing at her with his great sword.

Battle post Ceylinae: Blade Health: 20.5/23 Attk: (+3) || Def: (10 + 1) || Magic: (+1) || Spd: 1-17 (+4) Opponents Def: 13
Special Attacks:
Dancing Petals: Roll for attack as normal. Dmg is boosted +3 for that turn, and speed gains +2 for three turns. || Can be used once every 3 turns. || Considered a full turn action.
Attacks!
Ceylinae's attack: 3 + 18 = 21, hits Ceylinae's Dmg: ( 3 + 4 )/2 = 3.5 dmg
DP CD: 2/3
Ceylinae was rather pleased at the sight of the splash of blood caused by her arrow but at the same time it wasn't a good shot. He'd heard her coming somehow, meaning that she would need to practice walking silently, wouldn't she? Making note of that she prepared for the coming charge, moving to lunge backwards... only to get hit with the tip of the blade regardless. It was different from the weapons her sisters used, it was a longer, straight blade as a pair of curved blades. It had more of a reach then she was expecting causing her to be wounded by the accursed Earthling.
Giving a little hiss she bounced back a couple of steps as she drew another arrow, notching it, and took careful aim at the swordsman. He fought differently then her sisters did, moved differently, and his weapon was different. There was so much about him that was different then the duels she'd had in the past that she would need to adjust to but she meant to win this one to prove herself a good warrior.
Ceylinae was quick to release another arrow before she started to move again, dodging off to one side to prepare for what the Earthling warrior did next.

Battle post Ceylinae: Blade Health: 9.25/23 Attk: (+3) || Def: (10 + 1) || Magic: (+1) || Spd: 1-17 (+4) Opponents Def: 13
Special Attacks:
Dancing Petals: Roll for attack as normal. Dmg is boosted +3 for that turn, and speed gains +2 for three turns. || Can be used once every 3 turns. || Considered a full turn action.
Attacks with DP!
Ceylinae's attack: 3 + 1 = 4, hits herself Ceylinae's Dmg: ( 3 + 11 )/2 = 7 + 3 = 10/4 = dmg
Ceylinae was prepared for the next attack... or at least she had thought that she was ready for it. Instead she wasn't able to get out of the way of the blade, once more underestimating its reach, and took a hit to her side. It was something that caused her take a couple steps backwards away from him... and much to her shock her foot slipped on some rocks, causing her to fall backwards, landing hard on her backside. She landed hard and she landed wrong, more pain coursing through her along with embarrassment over actually falling in front of her enemy.
Dragging herself back up to her feet she reached for another arrow, preparing to attack again. She wasn't about to allow this glowy eyed weirdo to laugh at her! She wasn't about to allow herself to be weak or look foolish, not when she was doing her best to prove herself in this battle. Gritting her teeth she spat out, "I dare you to laugh. I'll kill you that much faster!"
