Weapon description: Gold Point is a multifunction broad bladed spear, that condenses into a compressed air grappling gun. Contained inside the body of the weapon is 100 ft. of cable, a galvanized and limber steel cord, wreathed in a woven kevlar material, making a durable and strong tensile material. The cable is a result of Atlas' amazing strides in Military Application Technology, and can support 1000 lbs of direct weight, and is incredibly tough, holding up to sharpened blade edges. The Spearhead contains a gem, the focus point of Owen's Semblance. The Spear uses a micro battery coil, giving enough power for three days of continuous hard use, before needing to be replaced.
Spear: The Spear stands at 7 ft. from spear tip to butt, and is a dusky golden yellow color. the Spear head, a 10 inch long blade, starts at a width of 4 inches, and tapers to the point. The blade is actually comprised of two layers, pressed tightly together, and is made of composite steel alloy. It holds it's edge, and rarely needs sharpening. The Spear head, which is attached to the cable stored inside, can be detached and swung on the cable, relying on the users own strength to extend the cable, but relying on a button activated mechanism to retract the cable. This extends the reach of the spear for single attacks, and allows slashing whip-like single attacks. The Spear head is locked in place by a magnetic seal, that can be released by cutting power to the magnets.
Grappling Gun: The Spear collapses to a stocky rectangular shaped launcher, with the spear head layers separating, splitting and rotating to become a 4 pronged grapple claw. The Grapple claw is propelled by a series of compressed air canisters, fed by a series of four micro compressors powered by the battery coil. The compressors reach full capacity in 10 seconds, allowing consistent use of the grapple effect as a means of getting around, and traversing a dangerous battlefield.

He has a pronounced lack of fear, making him recklessly brave, and he will often charge in head first, without even stopping to consider that he might be outnumbered or outclassed. He exists without a sense of prejudice, and has been believed to not even be aware of the fundamental differences between faunus and humans. He is incredibly innocent, approaching the world with a open view, everything is cool, and awesome, and adventure is everywhere, be it skydiving, or riding an Beowolf like a bucking bronco. Owen boasts a ridiculous amount of energy, and is always trying to stay active, because of this active life style, he is almost always hungry.

Background Information
A young man born in the military state of Atlas, Owen was trained from a young age to be a fighter. After his Sixth birthday, his father retired from the military with honors, and moved the family to Vale. In Vale, Owen learned that the world was an interesting place, full of new sights, smells sounds, places, and people. His wide eyed exuberance and fearlessness made him the natural leader of the other kids on the playground, and he treated all of his friends( For he had many) as equals, whether they were human or faunus, and it seemed to many he didnt even recognize the primary differences between his playmates. He also grew to be someone who stood for others when they couldnt or wouldnt stand for themselves, and the brute strength and tenacity he possessed made him a terror to schoolyard bullies, even those who were older than him. He effectively made a one boy campaign against bullying, and for the most part, he succeeded, often showing the same people he hit compassion, helping them up, taking them to the nurse if they needed the help, and still making them feel included, as if nothing had happened.
Owen's seemingly endless energy led him to an active lifestyle. Aside from combat training, he took up any sport he could, and even strenuous hobbies, anything that could keep him entertained and busy, and thus naturally fell to thrill seeking, the more dangerous the activity, the more it would challenge him, the more he wanted to do it.
Later years saw him becoming a martial expert, and his combat prowess and sheer toughness saw him being accepted to the prestigious Beacon Academy, where his outgoing nature made him likeable to everyone. He rapidly became known for accepting any fight challenge, as though no enemy could strike fear into him, and even if he lost, he always eagerly bounced back, ready for the next challenge. He is a steadfast ally, and a skilled fighter. His fearless nature makes him excellent for spearheading attacks, however his innocent and open nature means he needs a good leader to keep him out of trouble, and to keep people from mistreating him.
