Tobias was born on October 1st in 1978. A bouncy bundle of baby joy. His parents had been trying to conceive for some time, and they were finally gifted with a son. He never really wanted for anything as a child, his parents always made sure their little miracle had everything he needed to be a happy healthy child. He made friends easily enough, though he never had any truly deep friendships. When he graduated highschool he went to Seattle to take a course in photography. He found he loved the city, but he couldn't get the truly breath taking photos he wanted in such a heavily populated area. He headed east to Spokane, and on the way took photo's of his trip.

The night he reached Spokane he stopped just outside of town to take a walk and stretch his legs. It was a dark cloudy night and he soon found himself lost in the forest. As he tried to find his way back to the road he was set upon by some kind of creature with glowing red eyes. It was too dark for him to make it out clearly, but he could have sworn it was humanoid in its nature. It bit him and clawed him up pretty badly, but was scared off by some kind of loud roar. About ten minutes later he blacked out. When he woke up he was in someone's apartment. They told him they had found him all torn up and brought him here. Tobias couldn't help but ask why they hadn't brought him to a hospital. They couldn't give him a straight answer, but he was in no condition to leave.

To his surprise that changed very quickly, and it scared Tobias. He had no Idea what was happening to him. It was then that his savior explained his situation. He had been bitten, and was now a werewolf. He didn't believe a word of it and started for the door, but someone else got there first. They asked him to wait for just a moment, and said that they could prove it. Suddenly their eyes were glowing yellow and they had fangs. After they managed to calm Tobias down they explained what had happened. They told him a rogue Alpha had attacked him and they had driven it off just in time to save his life. Little did he know that it was really their Alpha's round about way of recruiting new members. The deception made them seem more sympathetic, and trust worthy. The Alpha gave him an offer. They would let him join their pack, and teach him to control himself on the full moon. Unsure of what else he could do Tobias accepted.

It was then that a long and happy period of Tobias's life began. He was a loyal member of the pack, contributing what he could, and surviving in Spokane for eight years. During that time he bonded with the pack, especially the Alpha, who seemed to look at him like a son. The Alpha spent more time with him than any other member of the pack, and seemed intent on passing on all the wisdom and knowledge he could. Near the end of the eight years The Alpha revealed that Tobias reminded him of his son, who had been killed in an encounter with a rival pack. It was at this point that Tobias told the Alpha he had grown to view him as somewhat of a father figure.

However this pleasant time in Tobias's life didn't last, and eventually the pack was found by hunters. The Alpha was singled out and caught off guard. He managed to take out several members of the hunting party before they brought him down. They had mortally wounded him, and no amount of healing could save him from the wolfsbane bullets in his body. The hunters left the Alpha for dead and moved on to hunt the rest of the pack. With all of the strength he could muster the Alpha let out one final roar. When it reached Tobias's ears he knew something was wrong and took off running towards the source. He arrived just in time to be given one last order. The Alpha told him to take his power and protect the pack. He had been grooming Tobias to take over some day, but now he didn't have a choice. With tears in his eyes Tobias killed his Alpha and took his power.

The surviving members of the pack arrived soon after, and Tobias gave his first order. They were going to wipe out the hunting party. Every last one of them. Now that the pack was together the hunters became the hunted, and Tobias got his revenge, the hunters died violent bloody deaths.

He led the pack for a few years before things started turning sour. There was another pack edging in on their territory. He didn't want fight them, but they were highly aggressive, and didn't care who they put in their line of fire. This skirmish lasted for a few more years before a truce was called. The other pack wanted to meet and discuss terms of peaceful cohabitation. Foolishly Tobias believed them, but when they arrived at the meeting place it was a trap. His pack was slaughtered in a bloodbath while he fought the other alpha. He left the man in a pool of his own blood and fled the scene.

He never forgave himself for his mistake. He had trusted someone he shouldn't have, and had gotten his whole pack killed. Tobias vowed that he would never again take a pack. He spent the next two years traveling the Western United States. He took pictures of weddings and land marks for cash and lived out of his 1969 ford mustang. He would occasionally encounter a pack or a lone wolf but he did his best to steer clear of anything supernatural.It wasn't easy resisting the urge to create a pack of his own. That drive was like a primal need to belong, but somehow he found the will to resist. That is until he heard rumors of a true alpha somewhere in California. After doing some digging he found out that the True Alpha was in a little town called beacon hills, and that the Hales were the resident pack. He was determined to find this True Alpha, and re-learn what it meant to be the leader of a pack, to earn his redemption.
