but the thing that really gets me is that they stole 13 trillion gold from me too.

I did, though, like I said, I don't know how many items were stolen though gifting so I couldn't list all of those, but I do at least know what was taken though the trade, so I was able to list at least some of the items that were taken when I reported it.
It just irks me that people would do something like this. I mean, there's no real value in it outside the game, and it's just that, a game. I don't get the appeal of robbing a virtual account. That someone would do this, and that they have before, I know I'm not the only person that's ever been hacked on here, is just really sad.

I have no clue, my best guess is that they figured out my password and just started going through my stuff from there.
I only noticed it because I had been talking with a girl in the Heartbreak cafe event about giving her some kin I never used and I went to start a trade and there were several gifts I didn't remember giving out listed in my gift history, like, it filled the whole thing, so I'm lead to believe there are other items that I don't know about that are missing, and they were all listed at 10/21/16, which, I hadn't gifted anyone anything today yet. Which, I then noticed a trade with a user I didn't recognize, figuring it was just a Paw transaction that I had forgotten about, but then noticed it too was from today, around 5 in the morning, which, I know I was still sleeping at that time. So I checked it out and noticed that they had my account give them 13.5 trillion gold, next to that, the items that they took were nothing. I mean, I don't even care if I get hose items back or not, it's hardly likely that I'd even use some of them, but the gold, that's a lot of gold, and i would have noticed that the second I went to spend it if I hadn't noticed it then.

That's a good thing to do, I hope you get your 13T and items back. Mostly that 13T for that's a huge amount to lose of gold depending your items it's your call but all in all I hope you get them all back too. 3nodding

Thanks, yeah, I'm thinking I will. I gave gaia a list of what I could when I filed the report so I'll at least get those items back probably, and whatever else they get away with that I don't get back, as long as my gold is returned I can buy again. The items aren't really that big a deal, it's more the gold and the fact someone thought to take them all. I hardly use all the items in my inventory, I'd have been more than willing to give them what they wanted.

I'm generally a pretty laid back person, and I probably would have given these people the items they wanted if they had just asked, but no.
Two different accounts stole items and gold from me, though gifting and trading.
I'm kind of glad I knew who the last two gifts and trades were to since I have no idea how many items were actually gifted away, I really wish you could see your full gift history.
but the thing that really gets me is that they stole 13 trillion gold from me too.
I worked hard to get that gold, though selling and trading, and I was proud of what I'd accomplished, the items, yeah they were nice, they were expensive, but I could have figured something out with them, but they never even spoke to me. they gave me horrible cheap items that I had no use for.
Do these people really have nothing better to do than steal virtual items?!? What kind of person feels good about themselves for going onto a site like this, and stealing virtual money and items that they could simply ask for and more often than not, they would probably get it. This is a very giving community, there is no good reason to steal from us.
As a result though, I feel I shouldn't trade or gift anything right now, which, is a shame since I have my gift post that I had been very happy about completing, and have several animal items that I had been wanting to sell.
Just in case anyone would like to know or comes across them the names of the accounts that took my items are m69rk and YARA IS DEAD

Did you know how they were able to hack into your stuff? Or it was just an unexpected cyber-attack?
I have no clue, my best guess is that they figured out my password and just started going through my stuff from there.
I only noticed it because I had been talking with a girl in the Heartbreak cafe event about giving her some kin I never used and I went to start a trade and there were several gifts I didn't remember giving out listed in my gift history, like, it filled the whole thing, so I'm lead to believe there are other items that I don't know about that are missing, and they were all listed at 10/21/16, which, I hadn't gifted anyone anything today yet. Which, I then noticed a trade with a user I didn't recognize, figuring it was just a Paw transaction that I had forgotten about, but then noticed it too was from today, around 5 in the morning, which, I know I was still sleeping at that time. So I checked it out and noticed that they had my account give them 13.5 trillion gold, next to that, the items that they took were nothing. I mean, I don't even care if I get hose items back or not, it's hardly likely that I'd even use some of them, but the gold, that's a lot of gold, and i would have noticed that the second I went to spend it if I hadn't noticed it then.
What I find really such a low-blow, is how they took your generosity for granted and thought you wouldn't notice..... <_< I mean, 13.5 trillion? Seriously?
If gaia bans them, I wonder if gaia would return your stuff. You really deserve your stuff and money back... <_<
They usually do, or at least they did when I first joined back in 07.
I was hacked once back then too and my items were returned, but since then it's been fine. Though back then it was just a few monthly collectibles and a mill or two since inflation wasn't really that bad back then. So I don't know how they'll handle it now.
Oh~ so you do have some background knowledge for this type of stuff. Maybe gaia has a way to check those hacker's inventory, or like, review their actions--- since getting your money/items. How long did it take until you got your items returned on the first incident, if I may ask? :OOOO
If I remember correctly it took a few days to a week? I don't remember exactly, but at the time hacking was pretty bad, so it could have just been that they had a lot of other complaints.
What I really wanna know is if they can see my gift history passed what I can, because that would be really useful. (I mean it'd be nice if I could see it all too, but hey, at least I can see some of it.)

Trade literally shows all the history pretty much. But yeah, I find it kinda strange that the Gift history is cut-off and doesn't show completely. The Admin should really update that xO You have your little evidences too, so I think that helps. ^_^ I blocked those dudes from my user just in case... <_<
