The rain had been coming down hard for several hours now. Delilah had managed to get herself home once her stomach had settled and taken the world's hottest and longest bath. Now she sat curled up in her window seat with a cooling cup of hot, brown rice tea. Every so often she would place the cup to her lips. Only about half those times would she take a sip.

Red eyes were gazing out at the falling rain. The sun had since risen and she was watching handfuls of people make their way at a run through it. Delilah hadn't slept. Everytime she tried to close her eyes she felt her heart begin to race again. Those words….

God those words she played over and over in her mind.

“You have doomed us all!”

Her head shook trying to clear but it didn't help. In fact it just made the world seem to spin. Phact was a dead planet because of her. What she had done... Delilah didn't have a clue. But she had killed her world and here she was reborn anew.

“Why was I given another chance?” The words were spoken into the teacup as lightening blazed across the sky. “Why did you feel the need to revive a senshi who failed her world?”

Whatever beings were out there surely had a sick sense of humor. To give a senshi life anew on what had to be one of the, if not THE last life bearing planet. “Why? So I can kill this one too? I would be better off back in the cauldron.”

The words cut deep as she heard them outloud. She had been thinking them for hours but to finally say them…

No, that wasn't her. Delilah White was not the type of person to cause others suffering just to release her own. Delilah White was stronger than than that. Delilah White was not the same person whoever Sailor Phact had been before.

Another bolt of lightning blazed across the sky. The loud clap of thunder told her just how close it was as did the reactions of those running below.

But Delilah White was also just a college student. A failing one at that. Delilah White was a disappointment to her family as her grades suffered and her focus slipped. She was someone who made those she loved worry. She was human. She was weak.

Sailor Phact though was strength. She would stand up for what she believed in and do what was needed of her to protect those she loved. To protect this world.

Setting the cup down to the side, Delilah rose and walked across her room. Taking up her henshin pen, she held it in her hands gazing down at it.

“To protect this world….” That was why she fought. To stop this world from becoming like every other one out there. They had failed. SHE had failed in her duty as a senshi. Her world...her planet...her people were dead.

But she had been given another chance.

A chance to make things right.

Eyes flickered up to the larger mirror that hung over her dresser. In it, she met the eyes of a tired woman. A woman whose life had been born to become a senshi. It had been written into the stars before she even knew it…

Delilah White was not who she was meant to be. Delilah White was the mask she wore to protect those around her. To protect herself and allow her body time to heal. Delilah White existed so that Sailor Phact...the senshi of a lost world...could be reborn.

“Phact Star Power...Make UP!”

The words came from her mouth and in a flash of light, Delilah was gone and she gazed into the eyes of Super Sailor Phact. They were strong. They were determined. They were willing.

“I will not let this planet die.” Her hand balled into a fist. “Chaos must be stopped…”

She did not finish her words as another crack of lightning illuminated her room.

Again she gazed into the mirror.

“I am Sailor Phact. Super Senshi of Doves and Guardian of the world of Phact. I failed to protect my homeworld. I fight now to ensure this world will not meet the same fate….”

It was time she did what was necessary. If those of chaos had forgotten their humanity, then she would remind them...but she would not see others lose theirs at the hands of Chaos.

Not while she lived.
