In many ways, Xiu was the polar opposite of her twin; while he was charming and suave and very much a ladies man, Xiu was a bit gawky around strangers and maybe even came off as a bit ditzy. While Jun had some magnetic force that pulled in strangers and helped him make friends, and Xiu preferred to stick with her family and cherish the close ties she shared with them. And perhaps that was the reason she had felt so upset recently... Once inseparable, she could see her twin was losing interest in being around her - managing to spend an hour with him during the day was like pulling teeth. And even when they were hanging out together, he could see how his eyes wandered to look at others around them; how he would make small sighs and tap his fingers impatiently against his arm... He wanted to be with others, and she could see that. After all, Jun was the type to get intoxicated on the unknown of meeting others and...well Xiu was nothing like that. She liked familiarity. She just wanted a brother to talk with.
So...she wanted companionship of some sort. And desperate enough to disregard the time of year, she decided on children. Irresponsible? Probably. Definitely an odd decision but...well, in her slightly irrational thought process, the idea seemed brilliant. So she took a trip over and acquired two partially imbued stones and set forth to finish the task.
