After his talk with Gévaudan the page of Ganymede had been seeking information. There were many things on his mind, so many questions and worries and ideas. It was just a lot and he didn't want to go to Erebus, he didn't want to fill his mind with these kinds of things. It would do no good, find no answers, gain him no information. He didn't know where to go, not at first. The first few nights, the first week or so, he let the thoughts fester as he wondered just where he could go to quench his thirst for information.

It was at some point, while sitting in his Japanese class, that he remembered something or rather someone. It had been months since he'd seen the knight of Earth but he remembered the meeting and knew where to find him, thankfully he remembered.

Seung had waited till the end of the day, when he'd had dinner and the library was close to closing, before powering up and heading for the library in the hopes of gaining the older knights attention. Standing in the shadows of a few trees he had a hand in the pocket of the hoodie he wore, as his uniform was no good for keeping warm. For a brief moment he wondered if the other knight would think ill of him, or say something, about him still being a Page when it had nearly been a year since he'd first powered up.

Camelot was standing atop the library, as he often was, with Merlinite beside him. They were just talking about what kind of patrol they would go on that evening when they both sensed an aura approaching. A knight, as Merlinite could tell from the way the potent aura made him feel, and a page, as Camelot informed him. The half youma had lost the ability, it seemed, to judge power levels from the auras he felt, things simplifying to either 'order' or 'chaos'.

But Camelot kept him up to date on things like that, when it was necessary. It made patrolling a little more dangerous, but since Merlinite mostly hunted Youma, he had not come across any problems so far. He crouched, hiding on the roof for now, while Camelot moved to peer down toward the street.

He waved, then hopped off the roof and landed as lightly as a man clad in metal could near the page. He recognized him, though he did note that it had been some time since they last spoke. It wasn't a bad thing, of course: Camelot had taken a reasonably long time himself to power up between stages, so he would never hold something like that against someone. Everyone took their own pace, and it was important to grow into each new power level with understanding and practice.

"Good evening," he said, knowing that Merlinite's twisted aura was still lingering in the air, and likely not something the Page missed noticing. He'd explain it if asked, or if it became clear that the young knight wanted to hunt it down.

Glad to see the older knight he nodded his head. "Is good to see you also." He hesitated though, wondering about the other aura he felt. Should he asked? Surely the other felt it, if he could, but he wasn't doing anything about it - why?

"Is a good evening...but many things on my mind." Questions, lots of them. He also wanted to know and understand things better...to get opinions and thoughts on things he'd heard from others. How to approach it though? He wasn't so good with that - with starting a conversation.

"It has been a long time...many changes." Battles, things learned and see, many things had been acquired during the time since he'd met the other knight. One good thing was he had his ring finally, and both the upgrades for it, so he was at least set in that way. He could communicate with other knights easier, at least those who also had their ring.

"Aura?" He finally decided to ask, wanting to know what he was feeling. It was...off - different.

Camelot smiled, nodding his head. He figured the Page would ask about it sooner rather than later.

"That would be Merlinite. He's up on the roof, hoping not to be noticed. He's a little hard to miss, isn't he?" He smiled warmly and looked up, waving his hand at the half youma high above. Merlinite saw it and sighed, then climbed down the side of the building. He remained clinging to it, just over the two knight's heads, tail whipping behind him. On the wall, he looked like a lizard, but he was more dragon than anything else. Including human.

"Uh. Hi. I'm Dennis," he said, though he was not sure how Camelot introduced him. He used his old civilian name because that man no longer existed, and because it was less 'evil' sounding than the stone he'd been given by the Negaverse. Anything ending in 'ite' tended to be associated with Chaos, and he wanted to dissuade that notion a bit.

Camelot nodded his head, seeming perfectly at ease with the half-youma General so near to them.

"He's not a threat. He's a friend of mine. I'm working on trying to help him purify, though we've made very little progress so far. He's half youma, which is why he looks this way, and why his aura is so potent."

Looking up, surprised, he nodded his head slowly. It was likely the other was self conscious, he could understand that, and so he was mindful. Turning fully to the other he managed a short bow and smiled. "Venice..." He assumed Camelot and him were...friends, or something, but why? He was clearly...half youma. Hyperbora had told him about them, so he wasn't surprised by the concept just the appearance.

"Hyperbora mentioned half youma to me....and no way to help them." He said softly, feeling for the other. He could put a face, and voice, to the idea and he did want to help...but how?

"Know why cannot help? What would happen if it was tried?" He asked curious as he shifted his dark eyes to Camelot. His hands had slipped out of his hoodie for now, he would use a coat once winter came, his uniform was not warm enough and he knew it. Last winter had been hard...freezing, he'd looked to others for body heat to help and it hadn't done enough.

"Group of friends thinking of idea to help ones who can purify others...maybe it help...if we can do it?" He offered staring at the older knight.

Merlinite climbed down from the wall when it became clear he was not going to be attacked. He sat a safe distance away, mostly because he did not want to scare the page by getting too close. Sometimes it took others a little while to trust him, and he couldn't blame them for that. Still, he wished it was different, and he could be like they were. Knights.

Instead, he was a monster.

Camelot took a breath, sighing.

"I think the impact of his being corrupted this far has damaged his starseed. Trying to purify him again would likely cause it irreparable damage, or worse. Shatter it. I don't want to attempt something before I know what it will do to him. Since Youma themselves are too far gone to be purified, it puts him being a half youma in a strange, difficult place. The last thing I want to do is hurt him, though."

Merlinite felt the cold sharply, not sure if it was the conversation or because he was now more cold blooded than warm. He twitched his tail behind him, tapping his claws against the ground thoughtfully as he listened. He knew Camelot was trying his best to help him out, but it was a tough spot to be in.

Camelot tilted his head as Venice mentioned what he was working on.

"To help royals? How do you mean?"

"Ahh...only know a little about the damages." So maybe the idea wouldn't work. There had to be something though - right? What about that one...Cosmos? Maybe she knew? She seemed to be higher up than everyone else, if calling everyone to the moon was anything to go by. "Maybe one who saved everyone - brought us all to the moon has clues? Can help?" He offered, wondering if there wasn't some way to help someone who obviously did not want to be as they were, but rather like himself and Camelot.

"Was told purifying takes lots of energy, leaves royals vaunerable and weak...for some time. Was thinking of taking our own energy...storing it in something...and if royals could then take it...to replenish...or maybe use to help in something? Group was tossing about the idea...nothing so far...but maybe could help if we find anything?" He asked the other. Maybe it would allow a focus of energy to keep a starseed from shattering or from further damage happening?

He knew it sounded a bit like what the Negaverse did but the energy they took was used for things, used to help them, why could they not store their own energy, rather than taking from people, and storing it till a boost was needed? Maybe it could help in healing or at least in recovery from heavy use?

"Was an idea...but only just spoken about at light..."

Camelot looked thoughtful, nodding his head. He had not really thought of Cosmos, or any 'higher' power, as he was used to having to figure things out until they got dire. He knew things had a way of working out, especially when they worked their hardest and stayed dedicated, but a little help from outside never hurt.

Merlinite had never heard of Cosmos before, and looked puzzled. Sure, when he was with the Negaverse he had seen the White Moon do some crazy things, but he never really got the explanations for them. Maybe he should have been paying a bit more attention than he used to, but he'd been so full of himself at the time...

He never thought things would change this much.

"Purifying does take a lot of energy," Camelot confirmed, "it can sometimes wipe me out completely, and I try not to purify someone in mixed company just in case I end up powering down because of it. But I would never ask to take the energy of others. Even if offered freely... it feels a little too risky." True enough, he gave his energy to Merlinite to help heal him when he was badly wounded, but he was not sure he could be on the receiving end of such a gift. Maybe he was just being a little old fashioned, wanting to give more than he took.

"Still, having a way to increase the power of what we can do, or shift the use of our powers to purify... that might be useful to have. We have our limits, and the more corrupt a being is, the more difficult it is to purify them. With more energy or power at our disposal, we maybe be able to help more people. It's a good idea, you and your friends should keep looking into it. But remember, we can never cross the lines that separate us from what Chaos dictates. Order is not meant to take or to force itself on others: everything we do, we must remember to do so in a pure way."

While he had suggested Cosmos he had no idea how to find her. It seemed her knights might not even see her much, or at all. He at least saw his Princess on occasion, though he knew she also saw his social media pages. She was here and someone he could find and talk to, if he needed to ever. But Cosmos just...seemed so distance but she had power - a lot of it. Maybe she had the knowledge they needed to help Merlinite and others like him?

Nodding to the others words, understanding his reasoning, he shook his head then. "If offered energy...would be to help you and to help those you help...but might be a risk...everything might be. Magic, all of this, breaks science laws and natural ones..." Who knew what was a risk and what wasn't? Under what circumstances something that was a risk wouldn't be? It seemed so hard to judge.

"Maybe with more power...and able to direct or protect me...could help with half youma?" The suggestion, the idea, was spoken softly. He didn't want to give hope but perhaps it could help and allow for such a rescue to be made? It couldn't be easy to be a half youma...to be on the wrong side and at risk of either side killing you, one because you were a traitor and the other because they saw an enemy...not someone who wanted to join them. He couldn't imagine that situation to be easy, or comforting, to be in.

"Of course...would be our own...sort of like donate blood...Donate it and use when needed. Build up more after giving, like with blood." They wouldn't take from innocent people but themselves. But they needed a way to draw out their energy and something to put it in. "We will look more..checking wonders and more. If it can help...it will help us...allow for more to purify perhaps...faster...to save them quicker -less risk." Less risk of it being found out about, more chance of saving them before something happened to the one wanting to change sides.

"I wonder though....about balance. Have to have a balance - right? Not all good and not all bad...but here...both sides want to remove the other all of it. Would over balance and throw things off..." And at what point did good become the new evil? When did it come full circle and bite it's own tail?

"But how to have balance when can't trust the other side...and this side wants to remove the other side, most anyway, fully."

"I don't mind being this way at the moment," Merlinite chimed it, which made Camelot glance at him with a vaguely surprised look on his face. Merlinite waved his clawed hands before explaining a bit more. "I mean, I want to be something else. Either human again or just not a half monster, you know. I want the chaos in me gone, because I'm scared I'm going to get worse and turn into a real monster... but for now at least I can still help you guys out a bit, eh? I mean, I can harvest energy for you guys directly, since that's what I do, so if you did want to try this whole 'collect it for later' theory... well, maybe I could help with that too?"

Camelot looked thoughtful, not sure if he agreed or not, but at least it was something worth pursuit. He nodded his head to indicate he understood, though it was not really his path or place to say anything on the actual application of the project. Anyway, if they do discover something, Camelot did not want to impede their progress. It could be something vital, and exploring and experimenting was the way to keep moving forward.

"That is the question, isn't it? I suppose we'll have to figure it out sooner rather than later, how to find that balance. Anyway, I do think your idea is a very interesting one, and something you should explore further! I'll help if I can, and of course, I'm going to keep trying to find a way to help Merlinite as well."

"Dennis..." The half youma corrected, though Camelot was bad at using a 'real' name instead of the one they were given to hide their identities. But Dennis was no longer really alive, so Merlinite did not feel like it was bad to take back the name.

He could understand the other perhaps being happier as he was, when it was unknown if trying to save him would make it worse or kill him. Hopefully a way to help him could be found in time, so he could become what he wanted to be. He knew from one of his fellow Ganymede knights that you lost things, many things including family, when you changed sides. but for the half youma here...hadn't he already lost all that? So what would be be losing? Aside from the dragon like features.

"Don't know if harvesting from us that way will work...might though....maybe something." They could at least explore and have a point to go from. They could see how energy worked in the form the Negaverse gathered it and see if anything with that could be done. They idea was to find a way that a royal could use their energy, contained in some manner, to accomplish draining tasks...with less of a drain on them, or do things they previously couldn't.

"Might be able to help in future...testing ideas...to make sure they are working maybe." He said before nodding his head to Dennis, as he corrected Camelot on his name. "Maybe...for now...a small orb of energy - my own...to work with maybe." He asked, hopeful the other might be willing to take some of Venice's own energy and pass him the orb back. he didn't know what they would could be done with it...but it was something. Something to tinker with perhaps.
