Perhaps spontaneously deciding to start a family wasn't the best decision to make on the fly. Going from just dating to deciding to have kids practically overnight wasn't something most people did. Most people put a lot of consideration into imbuing stones--even if it was just to add to the cache, there was usually a lot of thought behind the decision.

Not for Raeanne, though. All it took was a curious little conversation between a rather adorable young Fallen girl and a stranger turned acquaintance to suddenly have her preparing the house that hopefully soon would house a few miniature versions of her. Her study was transformed into a nursery, and much of the house was baby-proofed to the best of her ability.

Raeanne never considered herself to be a motherly sort, and yet... here she was, surprisingly excited to be taking the step forward. She could only hope that she was as prepared as she thought she was.

In her excitement though, the one thing she didn't take into consideration was the time of year. October creeps up fast when one isn't paying attention. The stones had been acquired long before October, but the decision had not been made until shortly after. Raeanne certainly hadn't taken into account the reality of having kids in October. She thought she was ready, but she was certainly going to find out if she truly was soon enough.
