"One... Two... Three..." Lyra numbered the counted spaces she had drawn in the dirt with a stick. The plan was to hop through a made up obstacle course and make it to the finish line. Anything to keep her busy, really. The purple Kirin had originally planned to do this with her siblings, but the red and blue Kirin where busy with their own things that day. But this wasn't much fun to do by herself. Half way through, she gave up, starting to draw in the dirt with her stick instead. The stick person in her drawing was using magic, represented by some wavy lines and sparkles, to conjure up some familiars. She sighed to herself, plopping down next to the drawing, wishing she could conjure up someone to talk to.

Lyra hadn't been paying attention and jumped a bit when she had been approached. She watched as the winged freshling produced a flower, seemingly from no where and offered it to her. She looked at it in awe before a slight embarrassed blush touched her cheeks. "Oh... For me?" She stood, dusting the dirt from her skirt before tasking the flower. "Thank you so much! I'm Lyra!" She happily twirled the flower in her fingers. "How did you do that? You must know some like... Advanced magic or something, right?" It wasn't really advanced, more along the lines of her not being able to do it herself. "Could you teach me?"

The Kirin watched at the slight of hand Illusion used to produce the flower. "Oooh! I would have never guessed!" Lyra clapped her hands and smiled before suddenly stopping. "Wait.. You showed me your secret... Does that mean you can't be a true magician now? That wouldn't be good at all..." She worried a bit, but she wouldn't tell if that was the case. She didn't want the possible early career of a magician to be dashed so quickly. It was interesting that such a simple thing as a hidden flower could be so effective without magic. Illusion probably had even more tricks that he could show her.

"I won't tell a soul! My lips are sealed!" Lyra pursed her lips together and brought up two pinched fingers, running them over her lips to immatate a zipper. To top it off, she pretended to lock it and toss the key. "Locked up and threw away the key!" She giggled before watching Illusion start to work his magic. It still seemed a bit hard, almost as hard as real magic, but maybe if she practiced a lot she would get it. "Oh, I'm Lyra." She wondered if the other hadn't caught her name before. "I think you're pretty cool, Illusion! Do you think you'll add real magic to your tricks? That might make them extra fancy!"

"Oh, that's very true!" Being able to do magic without actually doing magic would be a sight to see! It would surely be challenging for Illusion to handle, but he seemed to already have so much down already. He could only get better and do bigger and more complex things. "When you get famous, you have to invite me to your shows. I bet they'll be really great!" Lyra giggled, distracted from performing the disappearing trick for a moment. She tried to focus on how the other child made the purple shiny stone disapprear and how to make it reappear. Just like anything, this required practice.

"Oh wow! Really?" Lyra was really excited about that possibility. I'll try really hard to be a co-star! Maybe I can like.... Come up with one specific thing and be a special guest?" She was tried to imagine it. "But assistant will work too, if I don't come up with anything." She nodded and started practicing again with Illusion, hoping to get this down and think up her own tricks later.
