Marrow was getting a roommate? Up until this point he hadn't been assigned anybody. Probably due to the fact that he didn't get along with many other Freshlings. It seemed rooms was becoming scarce and now came the time for Marrow to suck it up and share his space. Before the transition occurred the caretakers told Marrow over and over again he was going to make a new friend that afternoon and that they would be sharing their things. Of course, Marrow protested with a hiss and a kick but what good did that do? All it earned him was a time out in his room during recess. After his lessons were through Marrow stormed back up to his room, ready to give whoever had moved in a piece of his mind. He needed to be put his place pretty much and Marrow was going to take such pleasure in doing so. In he stormed, deep set eyes scanning the room for his new 'play thing'.

Momoko had been shown to his new room shortly after classes had started, and after he opened the door the sight before him caused him to drop the small suitcase he’d brought with him. “Seriously? I have to stay here?” He’d question, giving the lady who escorted him an incredulous look, but she’d simply shrugged her shoulders and ushered him inside before rushing off to care for who knows what. Either way, Momo was pissed. The clutter was everywhere, and he wasn’t sure, but he could swear he saw a sweater move somewhere in the corner. Oh there better not be bugs in this pigsty..
A short time later, Momo had his hair pulled back with a headband and part of the room was organized into mini piles. “Starting to look a little better, right Heru?” He looked up at the plush toy that sat on the top bunk of the bed, positioned so it hung over the edge looking down at him. He waited, nodding after a moment. At least he’d managed to clean up a bit. He could finish the rest another time. So dusting his hands off he climbed up the ladder to sit down and finish arranging the bed the way he wanted. Yet just before he got started the door seemed to slam open and a weirdo just sort of stood there. So he leaned forward to peer down at him. “Hey.”

Marrow entered. Oh, if only the little hybrid had been given warning beforehand he might have been saved from making the most dumbstruck face in the history of all Marrow's expressions. What had happened in here? There were hideous piles of stuff that didn't even belong together. At least they hadn't in the geist-litch's mind. His beautiful chaotic organization had been thrown into a blender it seemed. "Who The HECK Was Touching My-" And then it was revealed. As if the little freshling on the top bunk had known what the albino looking child was going to spew out in anger. HIM. Furious pale red eyes locked onto his new roomie, tendrils began to flair up and flicker with fury as he stomped his tiny feet over to the bunk bed. "I hope you have a perfect memory because you're going to be putting this all back! Then I'm going to break your arms so you can't touch it again," he threatened horribly much to the caregiver's surprise. They had been waiting to see how Marrow would react but listening in just outside the door and the moment threats were being made they swooped in to save the poor Kumiho that was now on the Freshlings radar.
"Young Marrow! I can't believe you would speak such a way to your new friend! Apologize this instant. They were only trying to help you clean your room and this is how you thank them?" The caretaker had scooped Marrow up by his under arms, letting him struggling in mid air so he couldn't run off and tackle this poor child who was new to the academy. This school would have been moronic if they allowed a volatile child to just waltz right into this sort of situation without at least some supervision. Marrow wasn't having any of it though. He was kicking and grunting with every jerk of his tiny body. "He touched my things! He should be apologizing to me!" Marrow countered with a fiery hiss in his voice.

Momoko stayed surprisingly calm throughout the threats the little hybrid spewed. It wasn't as if he had a reason to be scared, the school had assured him over and over when he arrived earlier by himself that there was nothing to fear here. Every thing was managed and controlled. So when a caretaker heroically (well, more like rushed) swooped into the room to pick up the squirming hybrid, Momo's mask broke. If the air wasn't so heavy with tension, he would have laughed, yet even in his short life he had enough experience to know that would only make things worst. Instead his lips parted into a small toothy grin and the only noise that left him was a few quick exhales through his nose. Fingers gripping the side of the bed, he drummed them for a second before pushing off the wood to sit back on his knees.
"It's not like I wanted to touch your things. I couldn't even get to the bed without stepping on it." Crossing his arm he tried to reign in his smile as he rolled his eyes. "So I moved them so they wouldn't get broken. You should really be thanking me." He remained watching the two of them for a moment before he turned to continue righting his bed the way he wanted it. Taking care to make sure everything was absolutely perfect, and basically dismissing the hissing boy.

Thanking him? The nerve of this child! Marrow couldn't help but become more riled up as he was 'corrected' by this new Kumiho that sauntered into his room and touched his things. He didn't care if it was to take precaution and save the items from being crunched beneath tiny feet. That wouldn't have been an issue if Momo was never even assigned to this specific room. "This is all your fault!" he snapped at the caretaker and tried to bite at her hands. The woman shrieked and dropped the child from a good two feet off the ground. Of course his hefty little body dropped with a solid thud to the ground. A mixture of embarrassment and fury began to make the child shake. A tear could even be seen forming in the far corner of his eye. "This is my room! This is the only place where I get to go where I can be by MYSELF!"
Marrow turned away from the both of them for a moment, hovering closer to the nearest wall so he could be blocked in on himself for a brief moment. Just enough time to quickly wipe at his eyes to prevent any tears from tumbling down. He had one tiny corner of the world where he could hide away from everyone and be himself and they took it away just like that. Gave it away to some galaxy colored freak! "You need to put him somewhere else. He needs to go!" he turned back finally. Thank goodness that the sclera of his eyes was such a dark hue that they couldn't tell he had been crying silently seconds ago. The worst part about this whole thing was that he seemed to be the only one who was taking it seriously. As usually nobody understood how he felt or why he was overreacting the way that he was.

Carefully Momo patted his pillow down into it's very specific place and with a final swipe of his little hands. it was perfect. Now all he needed was less.. Marrow. Well, at least less of his voice. The sheer volume the small hybrid could reach was enough for him to flatten his ears down to try and stop the ringing it caused. "Could you stop SHOUTING?!" He finally shouted right back down at the other as he stood up and brushed his sweater off before picking up Heru and lightly placing him safely against the wall. "Besides! This is as much your fault, they said you knew I was coming. This wouldn't have happened if you cleaned up a little." Maybe his mother had been right when she talked about the other kids he would be meeting. If everyone was like this little monster, he wasn't sure he wanted to stay at this school after all. Though it's not like he had much of a choice in the matter.
The caretaker on the other hand was finally doubting her choice of career, and with a bright, forced smile she leaned forward setting both of her hands down firmly on Marrow's shoulders and proceeded in a neutral tone that had a hint of unspoken timeouts. "Marrow, is this really the first impression you want to make on a new student? Come on, I'm sure we can find a way to work this all out, and after we get this out of the way you'll both be the best of friends!" Straightening, she stepped behind the freshling and offered Momoko the same bright smile. Though she made sure to keep a tight grip on Marrow's shoulders, careful to stay out of bite range if she could. "Why don't you come down from there. Momoko." The Kumiho nodded and started down the ladder from the top bunk before stopping to stand at the bottom, only really approaching the other when the caretaker waved him over. Though he really only approached a few steps and crossed his arms, content not to really talk until he glanced at the lady and sighed at the look she had. It reminded him of his mother when he'd done something that had upset her. "I'm sorry for touching your stuff without asking.." He grumbled before quickly tagging on. "But you really shouldn't have left it all over the floor." Phew, he just needed to get that out. After all, this really wasn't his fault. at. all. Hmph.

This kid was making a complete mockery of him. How could someone so young be so self centered? Marrow's burning red eyes seemed to radiate a fuming heat of disgust and loathing as this furry little jerk tended to his bed. A bed that Marrow was determined to have remain empty. The little Litch-Giest continued bellowing out profuse amount of shouting until the young boy perched on his bed spoke up. He certainly did not expect such a meek looking creature to have such powerful lungs inside of him, and that shock had been enough to lull Marrow into a short moment of silence. It wasn't every day that somebody shouted back at him. With his intimidating looks and an attitude that said 'do not mess with me' Marrow had very few Freshlings trying to rival him at his own game. However, Momo was shockingly brave for one who seemed so new. "I told them I didn't want anybody here. I told them I didn't NEED anyone! This is not my fault... it's NOT!" This was all the more frustrating because he took a lot of blame, and most of it was perfectly expected. The times he vandalized school property with sharpies and how many other students he pushed was overwhelming but he always owned up to it because he was proud of the actions he took. However, when he had blame placed on him that he didn't feel responsible for it drove him absolutely insane.
The weight of an unwanted touch made his chest tighten and skin crawl. Making a threat towards a caretaker wasn't something he did often though. After all, every time he had done so in the past he was met with a punishment of some sort. One time he had even been forced to clean up the school yard. Marrow recalled the long hours of being stubborn only to be broken down and submit to the horrible act of cleaning. What an awful day that had been. He used to think it was his least favorite experience here at the Academy up until a few minutes ago when this brat came into his life. Her talk of friendship was puke-worthy. Marrow didn't have friends. Sure, he had people he tolerated, but friends was not apart of the hybrid's vocabulary. Marrow locked his eyes onto the fluffy tails as the boy slowly made his way down the ladder. He had a look of blood lust in his eyes that no young child should ever possess, and slowly but surely he managed to mask it with a civil yet disinterested look as the boy approached. A facade that would hopefully soon get the caretaker out of their hair. That grip she had on him was starting to get itchy.
As difficult as it was to swallow his tongue the boy remained silent as Momoko spit out the final words he tagged on the end of his apology. It was like acid, slowly burning it's way into Marrow's mind and driving him insane but like the true psycho this boy really was he bottled it up and gritted his sharp little teeth while forcing a smile. "And I'm sorry for leaving my stuff on the floor of my room the way I like it." Oh how fake that was, but at least he managed to keep up his faux smile during his performance. Caretakers around here might have been overbearing but they sure as heck weren't all that clever. Perhaps a majority of them didn't like their job well enough to care, or perhaps it was just Marrow being insanely difficult as always. He huffed before crossing his arms over his chest, glaring up at the caretaker and shrugging to try and get her firm grip off his shoulder. The woman sighed, and seemed to think that these apologetic words were sincere because with a stiff grin she turned and went to leave. "Please, play nicely and do try to get along with each other. You two are going to be inseparable in no time, darlings." She slipped out of the room, shutting the door behind her and giving a heavy sigh once she was out of sight. Honestly, she needed to start looking for another job because if dealing with children like this all the time she would soon be seeing grey hairs when she'd look int he mirror.
It seemed once the door clicked shut Marrow glanced over his shoulder, waiting to make sure she wasn't hovering just outside before turning with a menacing grin. They were alone now and the boy could finally speak his mind now that he wasn't being censored anymore by that ghastly woman. "If you ever touch my things again I will do what I said earlier. It'll be hard to make friends here when your walking around like a tree with your arms sticking straight out in casts." He mimicked a perfect T and positioned his arms straight out at either side of his body before huffing. "Now... if you don't mind I'm going to put my stuff back where I like it. Do Not Touch." He huffed and proceeded to throw his stuff all over the floor. It wasn't that he particularly liked it like this. He just knew it bothered the new kid and from this day on it would be his greatest obsession to irritate him thoroughly.

Momoko hadn't bothered with fake smiles, and cheerful tones when he had addressed the other boy. After all it was pretty clear at this point they would not like each other, and as far as he was concerned that was a fact that he very much doubted would change any time soon. On top of not caring to show the boy any sort of politeness, Momo hadn't been here long enough to really have any fear of the caretakers or their creative punishments. Not that he felt like he had any concern for that as he was normally someone who listened to authority of any kind and did his best to stay out of trouble. For someone so vibrant he seemed to pride himself on his attempt to remain as unseen as humanly possible when out in public. Yet here was someone who was so entirely opposite. Yes, he was sure he would hate him for the rest of his time at this nightmarish school. So when the caretaker left and Marrow began his threats, he once again rolled his eyes choosing instead to take the higher road and remain silent. Everything the boy said seemed like empty promises, and as soon as items began flying about the room again, Momoko simply stood in his place and watched the display with an entirely grown up, neutral expression.
At least in his mind it was, visibly it was a different story. First his lips tightened faintly, and then his eyebrows pinched together on his brow. Each piece of clothing that fell onto the cleared floor sent a jolt of frustration through the little Kumiho. Eventually turning into a seething anger in his chest, and like his grandparents taught him, Momo slowly started counting back from ten. Ten... a few crumbled papers tumbled to the ground at his feet. Nine.. Down came the small folded pile of clothing he'd managed to finally get through earlier. E-eight.. Just breathe, Momo. Seven.. His fists tightened at his side and his tails bristled behind him. The tips of each twitching every so often. It was only when a jacket fell partially over his head that he snapped. "Are you insane!?" Ripping the clothing off of him, he threw it harshly to the ground and quickly bent over to pick up the closest thing that had fallen at his feet. One of the wrinkled pieces of paper, he hoped it was important homework. "You're ruining everything I worked So Hard On!" Crumpling it into a tight ball, he hurled the paper towards the other boy, aiming for his stupid little head, and without waiting for it to hit he was crumpling up another piece to throw again with a shout. "You disgusting little pig!" At this point he was seconds away from tackling the little monster into his gross pile of mess.

He was rampaging through the room and scattering papers all over the room in shreds now that he had set his mind to destroying all the order his new roommate had worked so hard to create. Perhaps now he would think twice before straightening up the boy's belongings. Even if they were carelessly thrown about the room with little care for organization. He was starting to run out of paper to rip and things to kick. Eventually he would run out of steam and huff and puff his way out of the room. Well, that's what could have happened.
Before the boy could reach for the final page of homework that Momoko had carefully compiled for his class there was a thump on the back of his head. The child froze, red eyes starting to flare up and glow a violent shade of red now at the realization of what just happened. "Did you- .... did you just throw that at me?!" He snapped his head around with such a sharp turn that he nearly pulled a muscle. His eyes locked onto the smaller more meek looking child and he began to clench his fists so much so that those long claw tipped fingers of his was threatening to draw blood form his palms.

He was a monster! A pure little piggy monster wrapped in an entirely unassuming package, and as his paper flew towards the boys head in almost slow motion Momoko's eyes narrowed as his mind whirled, until it all went clear with an almost gasp. It was in this moment that the realization dawned on him that he was actually going to be stuck in this room with that thing. A notion that that sent a chill through out his entire body. He had been looking forward to Academy. Expecting to meet new friends and learn all the things he couldn't back at him, but instead. This. This little rampaging monster was his reality. Maybe he could get a new room.
So when the paper struck the boy and time began to return to it's normal speed, Momoko balked when the boy whirled on him in what looked like inhuman speed. The whirling and flaring tendrils adding to the fear that washed away the anger that had caused Momoko to snap. Leaving the boy wide-eyed. "Uh..." and with that beautiful speak, the Kumiho turned tail and booked it straight out of the room. Quickly running to find someone, anyone who will reassign him to a different room. Or even someone stupid enough to trade him...
