Stupid thread won't un-sticky....
There are several features here on Gaia that need some attention. I have laid out my own suggestions and opinion here but you must have some of your own?
Which one is priority for you? All of the following features have been neglected, or, are on the path of being neglected, some newer than others.
I've touched on some improvement ideas for each of these subjects. Your input and criticism is much welcomed heart
Guilds
Arenas
Black Jack / Slots / Prize and Joy
Aquariums / Phin Phang
Paws / Mecha Neko
House / Facktori
Auto / Sams Body Parts
Flynn's Plunder
Club Verge
Rococco
The Treehouse / GoFusion
Dernier Cri
Loyals Bazaar
Back Alley Bargains
Alchemy / Bifrost
Gift Boxes / Trunk / Crystal Box
All of these features could be modified in the smallest of ways to change the shape of inflation. Yet why is nothing being done?
These are also the features that bring us the smallest bits of joy and excitement in our Gaian lives when they are fruitful, what makes it fun!!
Fun is what Gaia needs again! Not sales and Project Tickets. But, all that can be achieved without ignoring those things and Gaia's current business model. With several item updates and a little bit of shop rearranging we can regain that excitement that we once had just being on Gaia. A way to return to what it once was without removing old features or creating new ones. Maximize everything to its full potential without requesting too much from staff.

 In this current economy Guilds are super cheap. There are pros and cons to this, but the biggest con is the fact that anyone can buy a guild now. Why is that bad? Server Bandwidth is why? More band width used the more Gaia has to pay its bills. So don't buy a bunch of Guilds and toss them away. It may not actually be an issue, but consider this and be prudent wink Second con: Its too cheap. The price of Guilds should be synonymous with that of the current economy. By that I mean the initial purchase price, the price to purchase a subforum and the price to send announcements. That being said, the minimum donation amount for a guild member should be increased as well, from 999,999 to what is now considered "realistic" Our best bet would be to set the purchase price of a guild based on a percentage of the current total economy. But that might hit to close to real economics for some rofl In a better Gaia world, Guilds who cannot afford their cost each year should be closed to preserve costs, but eh...it's just an idea. 50 Billion purchase price, 5 billion max donation, 10 million per member announcement cost, and 100 million subforum purchase price.  It seems Arenas has been taken over by Runway. How is Runway better? How could they do the same thing in Arenas? Thats right they can! For starters, all Gaia staff has to do is increase the winner pay out. Second, Gaia staff has to increase the participation cost wink Third, find an NPC that can be a representative of the Arenas and use the announcement feature when something is going on (Brennivin?) Fourth, put one new monthly item in Dernier Cri as a contest focus ( this item should only be available for gold that month only) . This includes one Housing and one Equipable item. Charge whatever you want for it Gaia ( billions of gold preferred)*kills two birds with one stone* Dernier Cri and Arenas updated regularly with only 2 items a month. #excitement# Short Description:

 First of all the price of tokens must be increased!! Second, increase the winning combination payouts After that simply update Prize and Joy once a month with something new.
Bonus Ideas:To create more of a game hustle, make the new Prize and Joy item only available for 1 month. Then let it go on sale as a super cheap 99GC LQI 6 months later, then don't re-release for another 2 years wink Short Description:

 Why can't fish be LQI too??!!?? Not asking for an update to the actual game play or anything just some new items and a bump in the gold payouts here too. Gaia can make fish drop items or gold! There is so much more room for activities that way!! LQI fish can drop charms, fragments, RIGs etc etc, whatever can justify the purchase cost of the Fish. New fish will sell anyway! This would be a satisfactory update to Aquariums that would make anyone giddy!! If Gaia opted to create new fish that dropped items such as these, it has the potential of helping out other features such as Alchemy, Lake Kindred and GoFusion. After a certain time period the fish will no longer give out anything but gold wink After the time period is up the fish can go into Phin Phang for gold purchase, preferably at a high cost similar to items in Dernier Cri and Loyals Bazaar. Phin Phang is updated regularly as well as Aquariums. Simple Description:

Project Ticket Idea:
Release a Ticket that will allow users to create a custom fish(This item could be unique to the Ticket user, which would include 25 copies of their creation for distribution or use in their fish tank. Fish drop would be an exact copy of the item, or possibly it could have chances of granting the fish drop to users during booty grab play)I have a feeling this ticket would fly off the shelves. Example of LQI Fish:Quote:

Chance of dropping Golden Fragments and random RIGs. Quote:

 Simple! Re-purpose this shop to be a Paws only store. Move the 14 items that are in it to another cash shop (Rococo only has 12 items in it) Sell the new [Animal] LQIs here as well as other introductory items at differing currencies. A lot of users adopt the Paw as their Gaia avatar for life, they should at least have a store of their own. This will also help with the cluttering up of other shops with paw items wink

 Re-purpose this shop into the "re-release" shop. It will also fit with the previous idea of moving Mecha Neko items into it, since they are re-released items in a sense. This is how you ensure a users investment and continue to make money, Gaia. Upon re-release of item, they are now 2x the price they were originally in limited quantity, or at original price in any quantity. This does not exclude them from being a rare RIG drop either emotion_awesome By doing this it ensures that even after 6 months, the user who bought the item, while LQI, will not see the value of the item drop dramatically by being spewed out in a RIG like water in a faucet. It not only maintains the value for the user but also the value of the work put in by the artist, henceforth, the initial price of an LQI can increase marginally wink

 Re-purpose The Treehouse to host all past event items. All past event items, even free grants!All items will be available for Wing Stickers only of course. Make Wing Stickers craftable in GoFusion with Wing Charmsl, or other possibly other charm combinations! How is this helpful you might ask? Well, by making some of those long sought after event items available via Wing Stickers, it will increase user participation in events and create a demand for charms, which boosts the productivity of GoFusion and Charm sales (GC or gold). To ensure that productivity the gold charm packs in BackAlley Bargains may have to be removed. Individual event item Sticker value will vary or course, according to its rarity.

 You may not understand how important regularly hosting Flynns Plunder Auctions are to the economy. Trust me, its important. If this account is maintained regularly, Flynn can do cycles of auctions that contain much needed rare items, specifically Alchemy items at the moment. Rotation of Auctions could go as such Alchemy Housing / Aquarium Project Tickets / Parcels LQIs/RIGs If other suggested features are updated such as Autos, GoFusion, Lake Kindred then there is no limit to the amount of interest that Flynns Plunder Auctions can entice. Plus, its gold sink! The main idea here is to regularly update this account with auctions!!

In addition to making Wing Stickers Craftable (see TreeHouse/GoFusion above) there are many other options to keeping GoFusion updated. Those 99GC LQIs could be turned into a GoFusion recipe, after their moratorium is over. The previous months RIG could be turned into GoFusion recipes too. These items should be rotated in and then out monthly to keep things interesting and continue the demand for Charms. Letting the same old craftable recipes sit there for too long stagnates the feature and users lose interest.

 The Faktori could use some more Deco Bundles similar to The Tree House Bundle. Sadly it is the only one of it's kind. Bundle existing housing items for an easy theme purchase. Create new housing items, these can be released as LQI too! Why not? Short Description:

 Verge has very few items in it, one of four existing cash shops on Gaia and it too has only 19. LaVictorie holds 100 items or more at any given time with 2 pages. This cash shop can be re-birthed to be the exclusive cash shop that Gaia had intended it to be. With the sales constantly going on, it would be very rare for anyone who buys GC to not be admitted to the shop eventually. It kind of defeats the purpose actually. If Gaia is going to provide us with such wonderful sales then it would make sense for the spend limit to enter Verge be increased. However, with so few items there is no incentive. Lets create incentive. There are items in LaVictorie that would probably find a better reception when placed in the exclusive Verge. Items such as: Limited Edition Collectors PassesMonthly Chance PassesMonthly Collectibles Collector's PassLimited Edition Collector's Pass PlusMonthly CI Bundles with Exclusives Etc Etc Gold Generator LQI's emotion_donotwant Project Tickets - maybe This will also reduce the clutter that is LaVictorie and allow casual spenders better navigate the shop.  It used to be soooo expensive. We used to just wish we could buy something out of that shop, even the cheapest ugly thing gonk Not anymore, its prices and items are not keeping up with the current economy. Let's re-purpose this shop as well Dernier Cri can become the LQI recolor shop, similar to the MC recolor shop that Loyals Bazaar has been intended to be. Low key recolors of LQIs at a price that keeps with the current economy. The same concept of Gold LQIs Loyals Bazaar has given us in the past. This is where they should be wink By doing this Dernier Cri becomes interesting again, and updated regularly of course.

 Its a great shop but it has been slacking in updates lately. One of the great things about Loyals Bazaar was the introduction of a gold LQI, usually a recolor of a past LQI, although this doesn't fit with the Monthly Collectible recolor theme it generically has. These items should be put in Dernier Cri (see Dernier Cri above) and regular updates of gold LQI's continued, however, they will be recolors of current Monthly Collectibles. We can only hope that they will continue to create more Monthly Collectible recolors from other past years. This should be done. Regular updates to Loyals Bazaar will give users consistent incentive to log in and participate, Gaia needs this!
