Can all level 50 kin kill the strongest enemies with enough potions? I understand that some are better than others, of course. However why can't a level 50 kin crush whatever it wants to?
What happens if you do not evolve kin? Is there anything to stop you from not bothering to evolve them?
What happens when you evolve so many kin that your skill level slips down? Do you re-gain the rewards for the level when you get back up?
I read that gold was nerfed (I can see that!) and most kin don't drop eggs anymore, exceptions being the Rangers, Slimes, Lanterns, Kokeshi Dolls and very rarely Ember the Fox and Sakura Fluff. Is that all for now? It is kind of sad seeing new to me animals (jasper cabochomp, nyaruma, etc) that will never drop eggs. Will they change that for some upcoming event, possibly? Or will they keep them as rare as a reward to the first players?
That's all for now.

I can answer most of your questions:
The answer I believe is no. Simply because, unlike Pokemon, kin stats are fixed and they cannot be raised or altered other than leveling them up.
There is nothing preventing you from evolving your kin.Again, unlike Pokemon where the evolution is automatic...evolution for kin is triggered by a button. You can leave your kin as is or evolve it. However the rewards will be different than if you had evolved it(you probably won't get the equips for the stronger evolutions of older kin) and the lower stage kin will be substantially weaker than their evolved form(s)...there is no guide currently for the rewards/stats of unevolved kin)
As for your question about egg drops: I believe the cabochomp recolors never did drop from battle and you can still get eggs from Kindred wilds (Wilocroak, Opposaurus, Pixicroak, starter recolors, and Grunny). I believe the only eggs that were removed were the halloween ones from last year (Pump kin, Candinati, Sonare, Lapinkin, and Pumpkin Willowcroak) and some from the very beginning (Stagony, Phantom Stagony and Lucky the Cat)
I recall someone getting a Nyaruma drop recently, and Kitsunes, Tanukis and Wealthy Nyarumas still drop as well.
As time went on, egg drops were nerfed to preserve some value in the marketplace and replaced with RIGs which are now plentiful. Dragon kin (Rosepea, Vulcras, and Flyvern) became scarce for a while (probably due to some coding accident) but they have returned, they just don't drop every other freaking battle like they did when they were introduced last winter.
But all is not lost! There are still ways to get these kin that no longer drop, although it DOES take some luck. Sycamorte seeds (although I hear the drops are broken at present?) are a way to get Jasper, Peridot, and Tanzanite Cabochomps as well as Stagony/Phantom (I believe). And you can get last years halloween kin from the Chance boxes in the shop (the shop button on the game landing page, the boxes are under the chance tab) I have a list of the rewards from the chance boxes in the kin forum (I have yet to find the time to post it here as well sweatdrop )and a link in my sig, but unfortunately its not really that complete...

Thank you, that is the kind of detailed background explanation I'm looking for.
