Ok. Today I had a haircut. The guy was adorable and stylish and dreamy. and he did my hair...so I mean, clearly, he cares for looks. rofl
He was super nice and we had a great time talking and the more I talked the more I noticed he was super cute.
I told about my TBI and how I adore being disabled....and we kindof touched on the topic that I was scared I would never get a guy, bc, yes, i'm attractive and nice and all of that,....but I'm also like....another child. The guy really has to be cool with responsibility and shtuff.
We touched on all sorts of topics. He has an 8 year old son. Not married, and invited me back to discuss dying my hair...if I even want that! invited me back to see some movies on the tv they have in the room! He really seemed to like having me there.
I'm a talker and he's a talker and it just seemed so perfect. When a lady took me to a chair to wax the horrid eyebrows, I said would he be ok to give my number to? she didn't really answer and just did her work.
On the way out, I said I'd love to speak to him again bc we had such a great conversation in the chair. He wrote his cell number for me!!!!!!
Said he's totally down for getting hot chocolate with me. Hmm...did i just ask him on a date???? or just a hang out thing?
And it's 9:36. Shall I call him?? Work is done, he knows I do nothing all day. and when do 8 year olds go to bed??
Just kinda flustered here....
I didn't give my number. Is that 3 day rule...really a thing?? Am I supposed to follow that or what??? Oh, I wish you were there...so you could tell me what meant what and all of it......

Sounds like probably a date.... nice!!!
Just take it slow. Stick to your plans.
Just go for cocoa and stay in public for a while... since you seem to worry about being take advantage of or being too trusting.
Kids make things complicated, so I always suggest going slower around them.
You call when you want to. Now is fine, maybe text first?
Something like:
"It was really great meeting you, we should get together sometime"
That 3 day rule is a myth.... don't follow that. Lol

arg. not a date. i texted and he said "girlfrind"...so...too bad. He is dreamy though. oh, well. he does want me for a friend though! so yeeeeeaaaay!!! and yeay for super adorable and stylish friend who is a boy!! xp
