With a growing knowledge of the magicks comes a growing stash of supplies. Potions specifically, and while Rianon had every knowledge she needed to find most components for her potions there was one thing she could not find, or produce: glass. With all of her herbs and potions, they needed to be stored by the most appropriate means, and unfortunately she was running dangerously low on vials, bottles, jars, and thus she made the trek to New Hemisect, a city she would normally do everything in her power to avoid. With the bustling military and bluebloods with their sniff nodes rammed so high up the purplebloods and seadwellers rear ends, the community wasn't her cup of tea. None the less, the venture should be relatively quick and harmless. She considered buying some new material as well, perhaps some high end silks to fashion some new shawls. She had recently come into some beetles from the space tower project, and had no idea how to spend them. Lost in her thoughts, Rianon didn't see the ragged young redblood barreling toward her. The boy checked her in the shoulder, a look of horror consuming his face as he noticed his stealth wasn't as apt as he had thought and he sent the higher hued greenblood buckling to the ground. "O-Oh Gog...I'm so s-sorry! Please don't report me, I'm already-" the boy was starting to go on a stuttering monologue when Ri brought herself back to her feet, readjusting her shawl and brushing her dress off. "Oh, please no worries. I'm fine, just be careful around here, there are plenty of others who would use that as some pathetic and horrible excuse to cull. Be careful." Rianon noticed the tattered clothes, and had to wonder how this boy even got by. "Here," she said, slipping some beetles out of her dress and placing them in his palm, "now just be careful, okay?" Far be it for Rianon to ever see a low blood down on their luck without her trying to do something to aid them. With a nervous nod, and saucer eyes staring at the beetles, he muttered many thank you's before dashing off again.

Austri had been out strolling on the streets of New Hemisect that night. While Lorata was her bestie, she did have a life apart from her, and NHC was the best place to get deals special deals! Civisect was very expensive, unfortunately, so she could only ever go when she went with the girls. But now, she was alone, with Staglebro and in a particularly pleasant mood. Why, she might’ve even thought of getting more stuff! Austri hummed.
Hearing a collision nearby, followed by some meek apologizing and freaking out, the greenblood felt her smile widen— Haha, now that redblood would know to look where he stepped. She watched the redblood and the greenblood intently, eager for some sort of a ruckus so she could jump in, but the greenblood disappointed her. Austri watched as she brushed it off, gave them advice, and even handed them beetles. Austri wrinkled her nose as the redblood left the scene, and Austri’s attention drifted to the greenblood. She clicked her tongue. Walking a little quicker, beginning to skip until she was in walking right next to the greenblood. “Hello there~” Austri said with a smile, glancing behind her to make sure Staglebro was nearby— “You seem cool, so I wanted to talk to you!” She said eagerly, tilting her head slightly with a smile. She was curious about what exactly went through her mind when she was bumped into.

The little witch was continuing to adjust her shawl as the other greenblood approached her. For someone who didn't seem to mind the overarching social construct of the hemospectrum, she sure did seem to take a lot of pride in her appearance. "Oh, hi there," Rianon said pleasantly, with a pixie like smile. The witch had no idea of the inner dialogue going on with the new greenblood, so she just seemed quite pleasant, always happy to meet someone new...so long as they were below blueblood. "That's so kind of you, I wouldn't mind some company." She extended her hand for the other to shake. "I'm Rianon." The greenblood noticed Crowma jumping from perch to perch in the city, as soon as the other girls lusus was nearby. She was grateful that Crowma gave her her space, but there were of course limitations to that leniency.

“Austri~” She giggled, shaking the hand politely and glancing to the side. “Well, I love having good company, y'know~?" She murmured with a glance to her blood color, eyes flashing back up to her before releasing the others hand. She was cute! Maybe she could help her, before she got too invested in helping trolls below her. They really weren't worth the effort, when she could put much more effort in talking to trolls that were much more her type. Like Lorata! Or Flydra. Not Scorpa though. She was such a kissass.
"Y'know, I couldn't help but notice a bit earlier~ That redblood, right~" She glanced in the direction they'd scrambled away in, giggling a little as she remembered the way they ran away before her gaze returned to Rianon's.
"Why did you help them?"

Rianon's jovial smile lilted a bit. She really hoped this wouldn't go in the direction she thought it might. "They seemed like they were struggling to make ends meet." she shrugged. "I recently came into a good deal of beetles. I make most of my things myself, so I really don't have a lot of need for them. Besides, greed is a weak trolls game." The little witch seemed plenty dignified with her actions, Rianon was hardly the type to apologize for doing the right thing.

Austri blinked. "You could hardly call that greed, though." Austri stated, before her gaze turned quizzical. "And they bumped into you~ Don't you think that deserves some sort of punishment? They probably would've robbed you for all you had, if you let them~" Austri murmured sweetly, clasping her hands and shifting her weight from one leg to another. "If you're not careful, that might happen to you~"

Rianon hoped the conversation wouldn't take this turn, but of course, it did. The little witch rolled her eyes and scoffed. "First of all ya have no idea just how well I can take care of myself, thanks. And secondly, the lowbloods I've met are a hell of a lot better company than the highbloods so far." While saying this Ri was sure to stay aware of their proximity to other trolls. While her comment might not necessarily be considered treasonous, it could get her reprimanded from some higher bloods. Rianon wanted to make sure she flew under the radar as best as possible in a big city like this, but her stubborn streak also prevented her from blowing this girl off completely, though the words of that hemoanon woman rang in her head. She would need to be careful about what she said and to whom in certain situations. This wasn't her home turf after all.

Austri blinked, raising her hands with a stop motion. Hooo-wee, she definitely didn’t want a fight with her. She was a fellow greenblood, after all! Just needed to help her see the error in her ways. She could be reasonable! “I’ve only met really imprudent lowbloods acting like they own the place~” She huffed, dimly remembering a certain yellowblooded cowboy before clicking her tongue and crossing her arms. “I just wanted to let you know~ Hey~ You’re getting stepped on and lowbloods aren’t as nice as they seem~” She tilted her head slightly. “I felt like I should warn you before you got into trouble~ I’d hate to see a friendly greenblood like you get in trouble~” Maybe she could have a fellow greenblooded buddy, aspiring to go towards the top with her? Lorata would love new heroes!!

A noticeable twitch began to tug at the corner of Rianon's eye. Was this girl for real? So far this conversation was only reminding her of why she hated the city. "Then let me give you a little advice as well. highbloods will toss you to the toothbeasts the moment you do something they don't like, or stop being useful to them. So just remember the dangerous game you're playing. Oh, and on a side note: the whole passive aggressive thing isn't very cute." Rianon wasn't trying to be a b***h, but she wasn't not trying to be a b***h either. At this point she really didn't care what this little hemophobe thought of her. If she wanted to drop the whole subject, then peachy keen, if not well, Rianon was only starting to sharpen her tongue.

Austri’s smile faded. “Yeesh, I was just trying to be friendly. You’re so touchy.” It was starting to get annoying, she wasn’t even trying to listen to her advice. Didn’t she know she was just trying to help her?? “You’re generalizing. Not every highblood does that! And if we’re climbing that tree, lowbloods do that just as much~!” Austri rolled her eyes. “You’re just angry ‘cause you don’t like the truth~ Don’t worry, it’s alright, you can totally continue to act like that, but~ Your stubbornness isn’t helping anyone, not even you~” Austri felt her teeth grind. “I was actually trying to help you before you did something stupid, but I see~ How it is~”

This, this was something Rianon couldn't help but laugh about, "Me generalizing? Do you even hear yourself when you speak? Your so called 'advice' was telling me what I should and shouldn't do with my own beetles. Try telling a higherblood that and see what might happen. No, I see it now," she clicked her tongue and put her finger under her chin, "you don't do anything to help another troll. You just try to claw your grubby little way up without doing any work. After all, butt kissing is so much easier." Okay, maybe now Rianon was trying to be a b***h. But this Austri girl threw down the gloves first. Or at least that's how she saw it.

Austri scoffed. This girl was really getting on her nerves. “I wasn’t telling you what to do, I was just advising you to not mess up, but you obviously don’t care~!” Austri could feel the bile building on her tongue, clenching her teeth in anger at her next words before responding with a mouth full of anger. “I do do things, you don’t even know me!” Austri exclaimed, winds beginning to make her hair flutter and dance in the wind. “You can’t say anything anyways, you don’t do anything either, lowblood-lover!”

It was hard for Rianon not to notice the changing winds, and how they seemed to perfectly coincide with Austri's unravelling. Could she? Would Alternia have really gifted such a little louse with magick? It was hard for the witch to wrap her thinkpan around, but that wasn't the issue at hand. "If only you knew just how much I really do," Rianon said, perhaps a little too cockily. As the winds continued to stir she could see Crowma beginning to flap her wings. No, she couldn't let her lusus get into a fight for her. She couldn't draw that much attention to herself in the middle of the city, it looked like it was time to take her leave. "Just remember, butt-kisser, you're not the only one with some tricks up your sleeve," she huffed, flipping her hair before disappearing into thin air. Above head Crowma swooped down, and somehow the little witch was now riding on the back of her lusus, taking her leave from this miserable city and the obnoxious little greenblood. It seemed this venture went about as well as she could have expected.

Austri's eyebrow lifted at her bold words, leaving a ticked off Austri to ball her fists and get ready to punch the rude greenblood. She was definitely anti-crown with a reaction like that, and Austri wasn't having any of it. At the last of her words, Austri quickly punched at her, but she'd been there in one moment, gone the next. Austri bristled, hearing a loud OW before seeing she'd unintentionally hit a low blood in Rianon's place. Austri felt bewildered before realizing she had powers. She looked at the lowblood, sneered at them, and turned on her heel, her anger make her stomp away. She'd been TRYING to help, and this was the thanks she got?!? She guessed she just didn't need more friends, Lorata and Flydra and Scorpa were definitely enough.
