│WHAT ARE SPECIAL CHARACTERS? │· Special characters are rewards we give to active members of the community that we will allow to play unique races, abilities, and powers! │· By default, we ask you've at least been an active member for a month before we give you a special character that has an exception. │· This is to be sure you understand the setting, would like to stay for the long term, and have a well thought out character idea. │· They do not add to the general large guild-plots but they can make for some very exciting personal plots that you set in motion.
│HOW TO APPLY │· PM a staff member with the listed information below. │· A list of all current characters. A link to two completed threads. │· Information on the special character's race, abilities, and any other important information we should know to do with their exception. │· Give us a little OOC blurb about why you'd like them and let us know how their special exception will effect their plots and how you roleplay with them.

 & FEMALES │REQUIREMENTS │· Open to all. If you are a new member, please send roleplay examples with your application.
This gang heavily floats around male-dominated themes, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Just because majority of the characters need to be male for one reason or another, that doesn't mean they have to be gay. That doesn't mean they can't have sisters. That doesn't mean I'm limiting your plots or ideas. If you're going to make a female character I just ask that they play a role to someone's life. A girlfriend, daughter, mother, cousin, best friend, sibling, wife, or anything else you need. Girls are rarely members of gangs in real life, and I'd prefer to keep it that way inside of this guild as well. But please feel free to put up search threads for any female roles you'd like in your character's life as well. I will be allowing those characters to be made.

Just like having female characters, children don't quite fit the setting as main characters either. However, that doesn't mean you can't play someone under the age of 18 if you play an important role in someone's life. You may feel free to search for someone to play the role as your character's child, cousin, niece, nephew, or any other reason for them to get dragged into your plots. As long as you explain to a staff member why someone under the age of 18 belongs in the dark setting, you should be accepted to create your underage character.

 & HYBRIDS │REQUIREMENTS │· Must have been an active member for over one month.
Majority of the time when two separate races have a child, they will be one or the other. However, rarely, the two will blend together giving the child mutated genes where they share traits and abilities from both their parents. This can be both a very positive thing, a very negative thing, or something that doesn't effect the individual much. Depending on the two races are being pushed together and which race has the dominate gene will effect how the hybrid turns out.
Many hybrids have a 'dominate' race that they can relate with physically or mentally much stronger than their secondary race. When it comes to how compatible the two races are, you need to ask yourself if they have similar physical attributes or ones that clash. Two magical races that are mixed together will obviously compliment one another. A magical race put in with a non-magical race will obviously clash and have negative effects. A weak physically race being mixed with a strong physical race might not be able to fully use all the abilities a single race has. When designing your hybrid you need to keep all these aspects in mind. For each ability you'd like to give them, how do both races effect it? Again, some hybrids are unfortunate souls who get the worst of both worlds while others are lucky who get perks and two races that blend together quite beautifully.

 & ILLEGAL SLAVES │REQUIREMENTS │· Must have been an active member for over one month.
Blood Nation and Crownless are the two gangs who run the humanoid trafficking rings. Crownless is the dominate gang in this field. They make money selling the slaves and finding end locations for them quickly. Blood Nation makes money when illegal slaves are in their possession so they can drain them of blood and and use them to produce their illegal blood-based drugs.
The people Crownless abduct are often heavily drugged, manipulated through cursed items or an incubus, or restrained and kept isolated so they've no chance to escape. It's not uncommon for Crownless to ask illegal fighting rings of brothels to hold onto some illegal slaves and do what they please with them while they wait to transport them. It's not uncommon for slaves to die because they are neglected, starved, stuffed full of too many drugs and overdose, or put out of their misery because Crownless cannot sell them fast enough. It's expensive to keep the slaves fed, watched over, and give them proper care when they tell you they are having a heart attack because of whatever you injected in their system. It's much easier to sell them off cheap to a chop shop and focus on the next set of people your partner has abducted.
Blood Nation, on the other hand, tend to be a bit better to the people they abduct. Many of the vampires claim personal blood bags and use them to satisfy their hunger. So gang members are likely to own illegal slaves. Once a month they usually draw blood from their illegal slaves and as long as the slaves cooperate they're given privileges and freedom. Blood Nation works off blackmail. If their illegal slaves do something they dislike, they'll destroy something their victim loves. If their illegal slaves still displease them, they'll simply kill them and replace them with someone better.
If you are planning on making an illegal slave character it's usually very important for you to have plot set in place. If you don't have gang members moving you or owning you, you'll likely end up as one of the illegal slaves who are shoved into a warehouse and forgotten about until you die or get sold to your final location. Please keep in mind that illegal slave are not supposed to be involved in slavery. People who break out of illegal slavery can go back to being a normal citizen. Normal citizens can also be abducted into illegal slavery. Your status may change if you are planning to get your character dragged into a humanoid trafficking ring.

 & INCUBUSES │REQUIREMENTS │· Must have been an active member for over one month.
By the time an incubus finishes puberty, they no longer sleep. Instead they need to leech off of other people's energy. They do this through sexual relations, which means any sexual partner of an incubus is in an extremely difficult position. It's dangerous for incubuses to only have one sexual partner since they're likely to suck the individual dry of all the good their body does while they're asleep. Sleeping with an incubus too often will lead to cognitive impairments, drowsiness, blurred vision, headaches, slowed reaction time, slight pain and swelling on their hands and feet, and eventually... Death.
Their abilities revolve around getting the energy they need. Making skin contact with an incubus makes people feel safe, warm, and wanted. People often find themselves attracted to incubuses and can't really put their fingers on why when they are making prolonged skin contact with them. Incubuses hold their real power when they're having sex, though. Their semen isn't anything close to any other creature in Saxon. Once an incubus releases inside a person their victim will suffer withdrawals, pain, an itch, and if it's bad enough they may even suffer death. The victim will desperately feel the need to repeat the experience they've had. This means they may find themselves coming back to the same incubus again and again and again, even if they've a significant other, even if it makes them feel disgusting. Saying no to the one thing that'll settle you're discomfort is nearly impossible for most people to fight.
Incubuses naturally despise one another. Any other incubus outside of their family is seen as a threat and will cause their blood to boil upon seeing another one. They're extremely possessive and if an incubus can smell someone who's recently slept with another one they'll feel inclined to take the person and claim them for themselves. Incubuses who don't have healthy sex lives may even lash out and try to sexually assault the individual right on the spot. Incubuses are normally very selfish. They're possessive. Many lie about their race and manipulate people around them to hide their sociopathic tenancies and so nobody will put up a guard trying to fight what an incubus makes them feel until it's too late.

Living alchemy is illegal. Enchantments and curses can get very powerful, dangerous, and difficult to remove once they are infused with someone's skeletal and nervous system. Not to mention, most alchemists who toy with the art aren't surgeons and dunno what they're doing when they're inserting a person with a magical item. Magically infused items don't mix well together, so anyone with more than one in their body often has terrible side effects that can sometimes be detrimental to cope with.
When enchantments and curses are cast on inanimate objects, they don't last forever. When an inanimate object is connected to a living host and can feed off a person, they have an energy source that can keep it's enchantment or curse active for as long as their host is alive. Hallowed enchanted wires can be run through the person's body wrapped around the individual's veins. Enchanted runes can be inserted into someone's body where it leaves heavy glowing marks. Cursed fingernails can be cut into someone's hands and melded to the bones beneath their fingers. It's a very gruesome process that often leaves heavy scars.
Depending on what the enchantment or curse is designed to do, the host will gain abilities or curses that do them harm. An example is an enchanted item being placed into a lycan that can produce fire. The lycan will have the odd ability of throwing out bursts of flames, but they will have almost no control over the flames since the enchanted object doesn't give them the powers to control anything like a fire mage can. An object often has very negative effects on their host as well. Very often their blood is circulating through the enchanted object when they are using it, meaning they can grow very light headed and be unable to think clearly. Other times the object might be connected to their nervous system and cause an immense pain anytime they try to use it. Some objects might constantly be absorbing energy and power from it's host causing them to be very drowsy and exhausted all the time. Living alchemy is very inconsistent and gives very different results every time it's performed.

 & DEMONIC POSSESSION │REQUIREMENTS │· Open to any active magical based race. │· Must have been an active member for over one month.
If a magical based race has demons communicating with them inside of their dreams for long enough, the demon will eventually get a type of hold on them. You'll hear whispers in the back of your head when you're conscious. You'll feel a tickle at the back of your neck. You'll feel like someone is watching you, and eventually, they'll be able to examine the world through your eyes. When a demon gets a strong connection with something it can claw it's way into the world, possessing inanimate objects that the individual will feel inclined to carry with them everywhere they go. It can be anything from a book to a crystal ball. The object will be able to speak with an individual telepathically (and if the individual were to ever respond they'll look like they are talking to themselves like a madman), and occasionally the demon will be able to heavily influence someone's thoughts, emotions, or actions. This can lead to extreme mood changes.
As the possession process continues, the demon will be able to enter the individual's body for short periods of time. While they take control of the person they're likely to call themselves by different names, have no memories of the person they've took over meaning out of the blue mid-conversation a possessed individual might walk off having no goddamn clue who you are or outright attack you for no reason. Depending on the demon and their interests they are likely to take over at different times. Some may be perfectly content possessing an inanimate object and just observing the world around them, while others are likely to try and take control of your body and chance they can. Remember, it is illegal to speak to demons through your dreams. If you do not seek out an exorcist for help and allow yourself to reach the point of possession you're likely to face charges, perhaps even jail time if you allow it to get bad or the demon harms someone.
