The sweet scents of summer was drawing to an end and with it the spice of autumn. The crisp smell of change hung in the air and the young stallion tossed his head lightly to clear his vision as he paused to take it all in. Summer had been wonderful and had brought him all sorts of fun adventures with his family, this was his first winter and he was curious to see what snow looked like. He had heard a lot about it but had never witnessed it. Flicking his tail behind him in a sweeping motion he pawed the ground slightly and looked upwards. A lot of the leaves were beginning to change and he found it reminded him of some flowers. It was a pleasant sight to take in.
Fluttering his wings behind him he walked through the thinning woods towards a meadow not too far away. His family was taking a break in the other direction but he always like to go and look around for a bit before joining them. He just liked to see everything and experience things by himself sometimes. Finding some honeysuckles he couldn't help but pause and smell them and flutter his wings happily behind him as he did so.
She came away from the river with her mate and then ended up taking a flight. Maui had been need a little space between her and Starseeker lately. Especially with fall hanging in the air and teasing her with cooler breezes, promising to make flying a lot easier. Summer months were harsh for her. She didn't like going for nightly flights.
Maui was heading to one of her favorite spots to just roam and nap. However, upon landing on the outskirts of the meadow that seemed nearly flowerless, she saw another there. Her white head canted to the side as her wings tucked close behind her back.
Did she approach?
With a grin on her face and light hooves, she toward the blue male.
Time to make a new friend.
“Helloooooo?”

Peppermint Coffee
The sound of wings and hooves against the ground caused him to lift his head and turn his attention towards the mare that had just arrived and called out to him. Watching her for a moment he fluttered his wings behind him lightly and turned to face her, returning her smile with one of his own.
"Hello."
His voice was light and warm as he took a moment to study her. She was one of the first normal looking equines he'd run into so far, everyone else he'd met had something crazy going on with them so she was a nice change to everything else he'd seen so far in his travels.
