
Well, of course it was real, but how lucky would she get to actually get one? Did they all turn out with some mutation or other, or was this a slim chance? She had certainly seen folks who were, what was it call? Hallowed, right? It didn't seem to effect their lives. Unless it maybe involved teasing. A younger version of herself might be the one to do that. But the current version of herself was still almost as bad.
Her golden eyes were set on what she wanted and she would not falter. Maybe this experiment would be going a little too far, but she could always get some hapless fool to "help her" take care of them. And then leave the children with them. She chuckled thinking that she had to be the worst, but she didn't care. There was always the orphanage for unwanted kids and hey, her parents would probably hat the fact that she turned them over and decide to keep them. It was a win-win in her book. She didn't even have to take on all of this responsibility. She could even take care of the kid for a while so she didn't have to work. She was willing to take the risk.
