So when she had gone to the orphanage to adopt they had denied the request. It weighed down on Amaidi heavily. She had just wanted to give her child a friend that would be with them for life, and give a child a new loving home.
However there was another way… Amaidi could imbue a stone. She was old enough and she was in a financially good place to add another child… but it was close to October. That horrid month that hurt children and mutated them. No she could do this. She would get a stone and imbue and she’d be extra careful to make sure that the child wasn’t awoken in September.
