Creatures that don't belong are appearing in the middle of the night, like ghosts, haunting the world around them. Their creepy markings make them stand out, and their dark coloring leaves many feeling cursed. These creepy crawlers are invading the world of Tendaji, and it's up to brave souls to step up and run them off, or even tame them as pets.
Do you think you have what it takes to face these creepy creatures that have wandered away from home? Well test your luck, and see how you fare.

The sound of something moving around nearby drew the attention of the magic user as he went about what the walked along with Rae at his side, the two of them making their way toward home. He gave pause, tilting his head to one side, before allowing some of his magic to flow outward in an attempt to figure out what it was but without much luck. He could tell that whatever it was that it was somewhat familiar... but he didn't quite know why. Something was out there, something that was somehow akin to Coil, and yet different at the same time. He took a couple more steps forward and he could hear the thing start to move again, slithering along once more. Slithering... yes, definitely like Coil, but still different... what was the difference though?
His magic flowed forward in another wave, wrapping itself around the creature again, pinging it, and allowed him to 'see' it in his own way. Strange... it seemed almost as though it was like a Coil but without the wings... yes, that seemed to be the biggest difference. Was it a some sort of strange mutation that was allowing sailscale to be born without wings? Maybe it was a new type of sailscale? Something that allowed them to be wingless so that they could get into smaller spaces or something? One of his ears gave a little twitch as he thought that over. Alright, a strange new version of a sailscale then? That meant that he should most certainly keep walking because his sister wouldn't be too pleased if he attempted to bring back yet another serpent to the inn.
Still, he was allowed to be curious. Especially given the fact that the thing was following him along. Why exactly was that? Was there something that it was after? Was it looking to attack? It seemed as though it was big enough that it might be be a bit of a hassle if it wanted to. What might it want though? Just to hassle a traveler? He supposed that it was possible so maybe he should stay on his guard, just in case? He knew that he might be able to protect himself with his magic but what if the wingless sailscale decided that it wanted to lash out out Rae for some reason? That wasn't something that he could allow! He had to protect her so he meant to keep his eyes open and stay alert, for Rae's sake.
Makani continued forward, listening closely to the sounds of the creature that was following along behind him. It sounded as though it were getting closer... closer... as though it decided to make its move finally. He whirled around as it seemed to coil up, hissing at him loudly before it made a lunge... and a simple wind spell was enough to pick it up and carry it off a good distance, with it spinning all the while within the little vortex. By the time it touched down again, placed on the ground carefully some distance from Makani, it was quite dizzy. The thing flailed around for a bit before slithering off at tops speeds, looking for a place to hide.
"Phew... that went better then I could have hoped for." He murmured to himself, giving a Rae a pat on the head before he continued forward once more.
