Pandora threw away all the applications that recruiters had given her to go to college. Screw that. She was definitely feeling the pressure to join Grendel to continue honing in on her musical skill, but she had no plan on actually going into University. She honestly couldn't be happier to finally be getting out of this place. Don't get me wrong, she loved the people she met but the school and studying part... not so much. She never was very strong at school and she was sure her scores proved that but she was glad that she wouldn't have to do that anymore. Now she could live her life with her band out on the open road. That had always been her dream from the first place, not being stuck in a school she could care relatively little about.
There really wasn't even a part of her that was the least bit sad about the transition. Everything she had ever wanted or needed was her band. The boys were all she really needed in life. Of course, there was also Odessa, Lazarus' girlfriend. The two of them weren't the best of friends, but they got along well enough. Then again, it wasn't often that Pandora found people she didn't get along with, unless they were trying to force her to be something she wasn't, like her teachers.
She smirked to herself as she threw herself on her bed, so glad to finally put all this behind her. From now on it would be music every day. It'd be going out on the open road and finding all kinds of venues to play. Life would be great! The greatest even. Who needed school to make life good anyway? She certainly didn't and she knew that Lazarus wasn't planning on going to school either and if they needed anything else Conan would help them. He was the one going for a degree anyway, the rest of them really didn't need to. He was already going to be teaching them how to dance and she already knew she was good enough at music without a college degree and had already had a small following from when she did solo performances at local coffee shops and venues. Maybe she could even get the guys together to play a small show to celebrate, now that would be awesome!
Freedom sounded completely amazing to her. The freedom to do whatever she wanted without constraints. Nothing would stand in their way and before they knew it they'd be a totally famous band that everyone played in their home. Maybe she'd even have to figure out how to go down the street without someone stopping her. How great would that be? Her life had plans, man. Plans that didn't include being stuck in some stuffy classroom any longer. A plan that would involve her doing what she loved for the rest of her life and that no one could stop her. She was going to be the best. Hell, she was already the best! As was her band. And she didn't need a school to prove that.
