Graduating! She was graduating! Nepheline couldn’t help the happy twirls through her dorm room as she re-read the letter she’d just gotten. Grendel had accepted her! She’d be able to study literature and revel in books to her heart’s content. It wouldn’t be an easy course of study, but oh, it would be so satisfying. Scooping the letter off of the bed, she read through it again and noticed that a small questionnaire had been included. Glancing over it, she dismissed it as unnecessary for the moment. She’d worry about rooms and possible roommates in the morning. For tonight though, she was simply going to celebrate. And maybe start packing up some of her smaller possessions.

Okay, she was definitely going to start packing up some of her stuff. Glancing around, she winced a little. Okay, maybe filling out the housing paperwork wasn’t such a bad idea. Sitting on the bed, she read through more carefully and realized that taking a roomie might be the way to go if she wanted to make sure she and her pets had enough space. Swearing a little at the mood breaker, Nepheline reached out and grabbed a pen to fill out the survey. On the plus side, if she got it back early, she’d have a better chance of getting a really nice dorm room. Hopefully a really nice roomie as well.

“Hope whoever I get doesn’t mind pets,” she murmured as she finished the form and set it to the side. If Mystery Roomie did mind, there might end up being an unpleasant scene as Nepheline refused to go anywhere without her babies.
