Elysia traveled from her small den deep within the dark tribe territory to leave to take in the beauty of the night, the fresh cool air and to stretch her wings as far and wid as she could. Yet that came to an end as the Nahtil entered the main cave of the territory, walking slowly to take in the qorld around her that included the bustling tribers who flourished in the night.

It made her smile. Tucking her wings tightly against her side, Elysia looked around to see if she may be able to make a new friend. After all she didn't often encounter others as everyone could be so busy, which she understood, but in professions that required a great deal of their time. The Nan had one dream to accomplish but she felt that she wasn't anywhere near skilled with life experiences including social interactions to ever be useful in that goal...which was to become an ambassador for the dark tribe. She wanted to be a good representative for this grand place.

First thing is first...she was determined to make a new friend.

Night or day the skittish, bright yellow wind b'alam preferred to stay inside a cave. At night, her fears weren't nearly as bad as during the day and she could almost pretend there was a cave above her head with a whole lot of little glow worms dotting the ceiling. Almost. When her knight had business to attend, which was rare and he spent a lot of time looking after her, Canaria had to look after herself. Andrei had dropped her off at the main cave to mingle while he took care of some business.

The main cave was logically the biggest and tallest cave in the complex. It sometimes left her with that feeling of falling into nothing, and with Andrei away it was best not to tempt an episode. Canaria moved around the edges until she found a suitable nitch to tuck into. It was small, well covered, and open at the front. She could see out and mingle if anyone came near wanted to. Her bright coloring made her quite easy to see even in the dark cave. The yellow female settled down and started to groom her feathered wings contentedly.

Something caught Elysia's eye that made her pause in mid step. Straightening out her body she narrowed her eyes slightly to see what it was that made her stop. It was about similar size if not a little smaller. It was bright too....bright yellow and had wings. Through from here she couldn't see any other detail than that. Moving closer to the creature that settled itself in the moving life but at the same time out of sight.

Finally Elysia paused again having a respectful distance between her and the yellow Nan while tilting her head to the side as she noticed the type of wings she sported. They were feathers! "Excuse me, Nahtil, but why are your wings different from mines?" The spotted Nahtil had never seen nor met a member of the Wind tribe so this would no doubt become an interesting encounter.

Canaria had managed to get herself settled and calmed with some grooming when the unexpected happened. One of the dark tribe approached her. Her knight usually protected her if they had evil intents. She knew some dark tribe didn't like having others here. Slowly she looked up expecting to find fangs in her face. There was plenty of space between them, and she hadn't sounded mad. Canaria blinked slowly at the dark one with glowing eyes in front of her.

"Oh. My Knight has wings likes yours. I'm not from around here, I'm a blood giver." She stumbled over the words a bit, trying to get them out in a hurry. It didn't occur to her to simply tell the other that she was a different tribe. Canaria glanced awkwardly about. Now she realized that if this nahtil got mad at her, she was effectively trapped. But this was the only place she felt comfortable. What would she do? Cry for help? Would anyone but her knight care?

Elysia nodded as she tilted her head to the side, sensing that the yellow Nahtil was uncomfortable with her. At least the energy coming off her seemed that way. That wasn't a good thing. Lowering herself down with her wings tucked against her sides with her ears down, the Nan tried to seem less intimidating, or tried to.

Gentling her voice she smiled faintly. "Well that's nice. I've never been in in the true outside of the territory to see the world. I only leave out at sundown to stretch my wings and then return here. I've yet to achieve confidence to wander far." She murmured then perked up. "Is your knight near by? I hope I do not offend you and your knight.....where are you from?" Elysia couldn't contain her curiosity.

Seeing her company lay down, she realized how tense she had been. She took a deep breath and ruffled her wings to relax the muscles. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to seem rude. My name's Canaria. I think my wings are different because I'm a different tribe." The yellow nahtil tried to suppress the shudder that ran through her body at the mention of going outside.

"I can rarely leave the caves, and only at night." And only with her Knight, but she didn't add that. "No, I'm afraid not. There was some errands he had to do. He is Andrei." She offered the dark nahtil a shy smile. "No fears, you didn't offend. I may just be overly cautious." She glanced uneasily as the nahtil asked where she was from. "Outside," she whispered. "Andrei found me shortly after I awoke and brought me here." She'd never regretted it. This was her home. Her safe haven.

The Nahtil smiled at the female and nodded. "It is nice to meet you Canaria. My name is Elysia." She returned the introduction and became quite comfortable in the spot and in speaking with Canaria. Though hopefully the yellow Nahtil was comfortable with her otherwise she would be more then content to leave her be so that there was no trouble especially with Canaria's knight.

"I don't know an Andrei but I am sure that he is a good knight and it sounds like he is a good provider for your well being." She complimented happy to hear that this Tah Andrei brought this Nahtil here in the greatest tribe ever. At least she thought so since she hadn't met anyone from another tribe before nor did she really think about it. Sure she knew about the Light tribe and the ones that came and went, if not mated with each other but that was about it.

Sighing softly the Nahtil tilted her head to the side. "Would you like to walk around the marketplace with me? We can see about the wares until your knight Tah Andrei comes back. If you rarely leave the caves then why not explore this area just a little bit? Elysia felt within her a stirring of something that wanted to create a friendship with Canaria. The emotion was unknown to her and hopefully it would have a name.
