I don't think I'd call him strong as much as swift, but compassionate would fit the bill! He certainly isn't cruel, at any rate.

For newbie, I've been going with AstoriaFallen, but for record-keeping in my pairing thread, I go with yes (I'd update newbie automatically whenever I posted the pair if our old newb has too many kin and you'd prefer not to be asked each time), ask (same as "yes" except I'd always touch base before updating a newbie), or no (no newbie at all), because people keep getting denewbified so fast, haha.
Ultimately, though, I'm not picky, and I wouldn't be opposed if you wanted to change anything! I don't usually RP, but Champion is my baby and I'd be happy to get a blessing for them as well!

Certainly! Adult-only is fine with me. You can also put me down for 'yes' for newbies - I got lucky myself, and wouldn't have any (well, one!) kin if not for people being nice to newbs, and it's always nice to spread the fun around. :3
Also, just for any future reference, if I agree to a pair I'll agree to it forever, so you don't have to worry about asking if you enter them more than once! (If you keep any records on that, I mean.)

Champion's a noble-hearted fighter who loves pushing for changes that'll benefit her fellow kin. On a smaller scale, she defends those that could use her help, but she can be a busybody because she pushes her nose into things even when she's not asked, haha. It's not that she thinks anyone needs her, so much as she can't stand to be inactive when she knows there's something she can do; she holds herself to a high code of honor and wouldn't expect any less from herself. That isn't to say she's all grim and serious, though; her drive to help others comes from her love for them, so she's all about having fun when she can.
THANK YOU FOR ASKING ABOUT HER, I'm like a mom who keeps embarrassing photos in her wallet, I love talking about my kids. . . cries.
