Creepy Crawlers

Creatures that don't belong are appearing in the middle of the night, like ghosts, haunting the world around them. Their creepy markings make them stand out, and their dark coloring leaves many feeling cursed. These creepy crawlers are invading the world of Tendaji, and it's up to brave souls to step up and run them off, or even tame them as pets.
Do you think you have what it takes to face these creepy creatures that have wandered away from home? Well test your luck, and see how you fare.
|| These spooky familiars have been spotted in the following locations: Maglardilla (Oba, Matori, and Yael), Perzi (Jauhar/Chibale and Tale), Keldari (Sauti and Zena). Only individuals in set locations can encounter the specific familiars. This prompt will be resolved by each player rolling 1D100 to test their success. (You can only roll once - there are no reattempts!)

The night had him out on the beach walking by the water's edge. Gael had his hands resting behind his head with his fingers interlocked. His mind was elsewhere. A certain Matorian girl had claimed his thoughts and he was wondering where she was. What she was doing. So far his attempts to find her had failed. No one in his family had seen her in months and when he went to ask around the village no one had seen her in some time. All that was left was for him to go to her house and ask her brother where she was. Of course that meant that Kani's brother would have to remember who he was and so far his looks had confused more than a few people.
The male moved his hands to rub over his short hair before finally going to the facial hair he now sported. Gael hadn't really thought about shaving so it was left to grow. Giving a scratch to his hairy cheek he sighed and turned his head to look out over the water.
It wasn't until he heard his pet Zanteer give a gruff bark that dropped his hand to his side and looked at the familiar by his side. As his horizontal pupils took notice he found that Bastul was actually raising his hackles a bit. The other wise smooth fur at the back of the beasts neck were raised. This was enough to make him draw his brows closer together. "What is it boy?" He coaxed his familiar as he reached out to pat him on the head lightly. There was another odd bark from the Zanteer that made the male look up and just in time too.
Gael's eyes went wide as he noticed some odd creature coming right at him. Through the air! Was it gliding? Was it.. was it.. "Oh sh--" It was going to collide with his chest if he didn't move! So the massif turned at the same time he took a step and just narrowly avoided having some weird animal smash into him. All he could do from there was stare as it seemed to land on the water and turn back around to make it's way toward him and Bastul again. "What in deep seas is that!?" Gael knew it was nothing from Matori, and he was almost positive it hadn't come from Oba, so what was it!? Or more importantly why was it trying to go after him?
Bastul was the first to really react to it and he came crashing down into the rolling waters after the odd bug. Gael blinked a few times before going after his familiar who was in turn now chasing this random thing. "Bastul!" He called for his pet to return to his side but to no avail. So he gave a groan and continued to run after both beasts. It now seemed like he wouldn't have to worry about it coming after him since he and his Zanteer were running it off.
