[FIN] Late night double feature picture show [FMIBS/Shun]

It was pure chance that Shun found himself in Other Ashdown, near the theater, once more. But it was one that he didn't mind all too much. He had been meaning on returning to this place, as unpleasant things had been the last time he was here.

This place could hold answers, though. Sorely needed answers.

It might not... probably would not help him find his personal ones, but maybe he could find something of use here. It might be nice, in any case. It was also worth a shot. At its worse, he'd just fail to come away with anything useful.

But that wasn't really anything new, now.

Quietly, he made his approach to enter the theater.

"Hello?" he called out.

They were still there, the faceless. The one at the ticket booth, another at the concession stand. There was not a crowd of them as there had been before, not immediately visible at least.

A head tilted, the faceless at the ticket booth. To Shun now there was a vague outline of a face, something blurry and not quite there. A questioning tilt of its head.

What did he need?

Spotting the faceless, Shun made his approach. He took note that there were more details within their face that wasn't there the last time he was here. Then again, he did briefly see something in two of them. While he came closer, he glanced to the walls, looking for the poster that had shown the glittering masks. Maybe there was something else now?

"The two in business suits. Are they here? I wish to see them," he requested to the one at the ticket booth.

The head tilted, that oddly fluid inhuman motion, before it gave a short nod. An arm raised, a hand pointing towards a door that read OFFICE behind the ticket booth counter.

With a creak, the counter was lifted and folded up so that he could cross through and pass. Those posters that had held things still had the same ones as before but now there was another poster.

There was a town on it, a forest in the distance. Rain was depicted as falling and somewhere, in the far background, there was a fire. It he got close enough it looked as if there were people gathered around a bonfire.

That held a stake.

"Thank you."

Shun nodded, then started to move on through the counter. He gave pause by the posters, taking note of the new one that had gone up. Furrowing his brow, he studied the imagery, before he realized something.

That was a ******** stake in the middle of the bonfire.

"s**t..." he whispered to himself. Were they going to be burning something at the stake like it was the goddamn Salem witch trials? Maybe he should keep his lift practice at home. Granted, when he did it outside nowadays, he did try to stick to the darkness. It wasn't completely secure still, though.

It was hard to tell just who the stake was for. Sunny? She was described as being the witch on the beach at times. He couldn't really think of why the townsfolk would suddenly turn on her, though. And he really hoped that the other visitors wouldn't try to ******** burn her like that in an attempt to take out that piece of the enemy. That was a completely unnecessary way to kill someone. It wasn't quick at all. They could just try to slit her throat, or even just shoot her in the head.

Shaking his head to himself, he continued on to the office. Drawing in a breath, he knocked on the door.

The door opened and they were there, the two of them. Taller than the other faceless and dressed in immaculate business suits. There seemed, for a brief moment, to be hair there as well as a face to them but it was harder to discern their true appearance than those of the other faceless.

They did not move but a hand was held out to shake in greeting.

After all, if he wished to speak with them contact would have to be made.

There it was again, that brief flicker of something different. Shun was curious what these beings looked like in their true forms, but that was not what he was here for. Not today at least.

Stepping closer, he glanced down at the outstretched hand, then took it. He knew the drill.

"I have come with questions. If you are willing to answer."

His hand was given a firm shake, the other of the pair lingering back near the file cabinets of the office and watching. The voices, the cacophony of them, filled Shun's head.

We can only answer what we know. It tilted it's head. Ask your questions.

Shun kept a firm grip on the hand, after the shake was done. He needed to keep contact, after all.

"Does this theater only show the events from this cycle? Or can it show things from other ones?" he asked. There was a pause, "And are there any ... ah... 'trailers' for events to come."

That stake concerned him.

It only shows what is meant to be shown. Another tilt of it's head, the voices sounding firm. What matters is now and what has happened this time, nothing more and nothing less.

Shun tilted his head as well.

"Is there anything that is meant to be shown today? That I have not already seen?" he asked. It was worth a shot, in any case.

Shun let out a sigh at that.

"Is there a minimum amount of people that need to be present for a viewing?" he asked flatly. Figures it wouldn't be so simple.

Never alone, was his response.

"So in theory, I could bring in one other person, and it would be fine?"

That was easier than trying to bring in ten or more people. He wasn't even sure how he'd get that many people in other ashdown all at once. Just getting one other person was hard enough without having a reliable means of entry.

"Alright. Is there anything you can tell me about the new movie poster? The one with the bonfire?"
