Quote:
Seung had spent the air time, heading from Destiny City to South Korea, sleeping, eating, and using the bathroom. The movies were ignored and the food enjoyed, though the chopsticks were cheap wooden things, as he spent most of the time curled up under the shared blanket pressed to Terry’s side. It wasn’t until the announcement came on to buckle up, that they would be landing soon, that Seung woke and actually did more than the eat, sleep, bathroom routine he’d put into practice since boarding the plane back in Destiny City. He stretched, smiled up at the other, and buckled up before asking how the other was doing.

Checking his phone, more to check the time than anything, Seung was ready when they landed and was up and grabbing his things and reached out to grab and fold up the blanket so he could load it into his carry on. His little neck pillow was also put away and then he was reaching out for the others hand to help him up.

“Was good sleep...should have energy to spend out today.” He wasn't sure what they’d wind up doing but he wasn’t inclined to stay at his grandparents home either, as much as he loved them, he wanted to spend some time in the city and enjoying his time back home...and his time with Terry. They may not be able to act like a couple but it was time they could spend together...with secret looks and other things.

Quote:
Terry had spent his time reading, making notes in a notebook he had brought with him, on his laptop, and of course sleeping, eating and taking bathroom breaks. When the announcement of them arriving had Seung sitting up he smiled back and tucked everything away then buckled up. “Just fine and how are you? Feeling rested?” He asked in return then nodded when it was answered. Once they had landed he gathered up his own stuff, though he did offer to help the other man with his. “That’s good, anything in particular on the agenda or do you plan on just winging it?” He asked with a smile.

Quote:
“Not sure...want your input...but dinner out. Can get food on streets or other places. Something you want to try...or like.” He knew Terry didn’t know a lot of dishes so he did mean it as more of a - meat, rice, noodles, seafood sort of question. What sort of….theme did the other want for dinner. He was open minded to anything, there wasn’t a lot he disliked, so he was leaving it open to the other and his tastebuds...or his adventurous side? Maybe that was a good way to think of it.

“Can go shopping if you want...or social places...let me know what kinds of places. I want you to enjoy the time here.” Locking eyes with the other, hoping between his own feelings and his look the other would understand. He wanted Terry to decide on things so Terry could see and do things which he had an interest in or wanted to try, see, or had heard about. He wanted to let the other lead so it was a memorable trip for the other.

Leaning in he whispered to the other. “I want this...make good memories for you….enjoy and…” Pausing, how to word what he felt? Maybe if he just focused on his feelings the other would pick up on them? It was worth a try and hope Terry would feel them? It was an honest, deep, wish for the other to indulge and do whatever he wanted and see and see the magic in the place Seung had called home for so many years. To understand and see the place for what it was at the same time as seeing the magic here and feel it.

Focusing on his feelings...as mixed and complex as they were he tried to let them drown himself in the feelings knowing if they were strong enough, for himself, Terry would feel them without a doubt...he had no choice due to the necklaces they both wore.

Quote:
Terry nodded in understanding then gave Seung a thoughtful look. “I’ll think on it for a bit then get back to you on that.” He said with a smile. There were so many possibilities between food and activities he would have to think over it carefully. With some input by from Seung he could get a good idea of both he was sure but since the other man had asked him he would think on it on his own first. He gave his boyfriend a soft look when he leaned over and spoke up then nodded. “So long as I get to spend time with you then this trip will be filled with good memories but thank you.” He said then felt exactly what Seung had wanted and focused on returning his gratefulness and affection for the other man, reaching up to grasp his necklace to stop himself from pulling the older man into a kiss.

Quote:
As it seemed Terry understood what he had been trying to say, but couldn’t find words for, the dark haired male ran his fingers through the others brown hair. A smile tugged at his lips as he drew back then. “Come on, let's get off and get things done.” Then they could enjoy the short vacation - together. “I am flattered…knowing you will be happy if we are spending time together.” He would do his best to ensure the other had a good time, and that they got to spend time together...some of it private he hoped.

“Stay with me, don’t want you lost.” Though it would be easy for Terry to find help it was a big airport, and they were building another terminal elsewhere on the property which was due to be done next year. Incheon airport was getting bigger, a lot bigger.

Joining the queue of people leaving the plane he shuffled forward, holding onto one of Terry’s hands, as he turned to look at him. “Maybe half hour till we can leave...less you want to see things here.” He didn’t say what but there were things to see even here a an airport, it was up to Terry though, They could take a separate means to his grandparents from his parents and younger cousin.

Quote:
Terry leaned into Seung’s hand when it was in his hair then smiled back when he pulled away. “I’ll follow you then.” He said, planning on sticking close to the other man anyway even without the reminder. After all he really didn’t want to get lost in an unfamiliar city in an unfamiliar country that he didn’t know the main language of. “Of course I would be happy to spend time with you, I always am.” He promised with a nod. They may have mishaps at times but he never regretted any time spent with the older man.

The young man made sure to keep close to Seung, either at his side or right behind him depending on the standing and moving room as they left the plane, happy to be holding Seung’s hand to help. “What sort of things are here to see?” He asked with a raised eyebrow and a curious look. Really the only thing he was used to seeing at an airport for something to do was food.

Quote:
Hearing the other's words, about wanting to spend time with him, brought a smile to his face. He always worried about being a burden or the other not wanting to spend time with him - all kinds of worries and such. This was his first time dating and he blamed a lot of his feelings on that fact. Who wouldn’t? He knew he made mistakes and upset the other, sometimes it made him want to back away and put distance between them...but he hadn’t yet. He was trying.

“Will show you once we get past security.” That consisted of several things. After they got off the plane it was a quick walk, mostly on a moving walkway, to a small area where they got a health questionnaire to fill out followed by a traveler declaration - both were straightforward and easy. It was something he’d have to fill out whenever he came here….even though he was still a citizen here it wasn’t living here now and he had just come from another country. He’d had to help a bit with the second form since he knew the address to where they’d be staying, something Terry didn’t know, only when he wrote it...he wrote it in Korean and not romanized.

The next part was a quarantine area where there were heat sensitive camera, to check for fever and such. This he explained to Terry right before stepping through himself. The foreigner queue he didn’t have to go to, but Terry did, so he waited for that before they left to head for baggage claim. His family had left already for there, leaving him to stay with Terry while the agent asked a few questions. From there a board told them right where to find their luggage and it wasn’t too hard to get, his parents and cousin already waiting for them with their luggage.

“Just need to hand in customs form...then we can explore.” Deciding to talk to his parents...and explain that he wanted to show Terry the airport, he let them know they’d take a way to Seoul on their own - separate. “Come on, let’s go. Want to turn in paper so we can go, I want to show you.”

Quote:
Terry nodded and glanced around at the line they were in to check their progress and was pleased with how quickly they were getting through. When they got to the area where they had to fill a form he was glad that he was travelling with someone with experience in going to different countries, not having expected the form. It did make sense for the airport to keep track of everyone's health of course so he wouldn’t complain, though he was happy for Seung’s help with the declaration form.

It was certainly an experience to go through the camera’s and he made sure to listen to the other man’s explanation so he knew what to do and where to go for the brief bit they had to go to different lines. When they moved to the luggage area he made sure to once again stick close by Seung and he gave a small smile to the other man’s family when they met back up. “Alright, sounds good.” He nodded when his boyfriend spoke of showing him around. He was certainly curious about just what it was about the airport that the older man wanted to show him.

Quote:
“Parents and Eunkyung are going to grandparents. We will go later.” Since he did want to show the other around some, even if it was only an airport. Incheon airport had a lot to offer and was even a place people went to for dates, just due to the food, so it was worth showing Terry in his own mind. When his family bid their goodbyes, and wished them a safe trip when they left the airport, Seung took Terry’s hand - glad his family was gone, and lead him off.

“Can have our luggage watched...while we walk and eat…” He was planning to treat the other to a few nice things while here...get things off to a good start. “Area that holds luggage for small fee - my treat as part of this.” Plus he had money that was good here - credit card. He also had some cash, his mother had traded some money in for him before the trip.

“Come.” It meant taking a trip up to the fourth floor of the airport, which meant going by the skating rink, it looks like an ice skating rink and was called as much - Ice Forest was even written in English script. But the floor was not made of ice and the skates were...different as well. But people were enjoying it, especially children.

“Skating...is popular here.”

Quote:
Terry gave a hum in understanding then waited for when they split up again. When Seung took his hand he gave a smile and a gentle squeeze then followed him. “Thanks.” He wouldn’t fight or argue, having decided he wouldn’t make any fuss when it came to money for the trip, though he still planned on making sure to buy something for Seung as thanks. When Seung mentioned skating Terry’s eyes lit up and he couldn’t help but smile. “They have skating at the airport? What kind of skating?” He asked and his eyes darted around to take everything in as they walked.

Quote:
Laughing as the other lit up, as he expected, Seung pecked his cheek and hurried them to the fourth floor of the airport terminal in order to get their luggage held there. “Will show you - this first.” And it would come first, it had to, he didn’t want them dragging their things about during the time spent at the airport.

The trip down the escalator had him pointing to the skating. Little kids, with adults, skating around in light blue plastic skates. It wasn’t ice but it was what they had here. He was planning to take Terry to Lotte where they had a real ice skating rink. That he thought Terry would like even more, though he might like this as well...just less. This wasn’t ice and it wasn’t as nice as Lotte’s ice skating rink either.

Quote:
Terry gave Seung a bright smile at the kiss and moved along with him. “Good plan, best to have them taken care of before we play.” He said with a laugh. While he wouldn’t have dragged Seung off to the rink as soon as he asked questions, he could easily agree that it would be better to have it taken care of before he got too distracted. When Seung pointed out the rink he looked over and watched for a moment as the random people of various ages enjoyed it. “Looks like fun. Have you ever been before?” He asked, referring to this rink in particular. It looked like ice but the skates said differently, something he wasn’t bothered by. While he loved ice skating, he enjoyed roller skating as well, though Seung would be correct in his mental assumption that Terry would enjoy ice just a bit more.

Quote:
“No...never. Never came here to do more than take trips and never early enough.” He had once gone to Japan but that had been a long time ago. He didn’t have the time before the trip to Destiny City almost a year ago. “Never skated before you took me.” Seung answered honestly. “Is big thing here that people like.” And the airport was a place people could spend hours if they had to for a layover, or any other reason. “If over an hour from Seoul city...so no reason to just come here.” he tended to stick around Seoul or Busan, which was a distance from Seoul. Busan was when he wanted to visit his mother's half of the family.

He’d gone to Jeju a few times, in the summer, for the beaches but Busan was good for that also. Seoul was where everything else was and where most of his time living had been spent. “Want to skate here?”

Quote:
Terry gave a hum and a nod, mentally thinking that he needed to see about taking Seung skating again when they got back to the states, maybe seeing if anyone else wanted to join. “I don’t blame them. Not only is it fun but at least it’s something to help pass the time.” He didn’t have a lot of experience when it came to flying but it was hard to miss the mess that could come with trying to keep yourself occupied if you flew around a lot. “Makes sense. No reason to travel from the city when everything they can offer here is there are well.” He said then gave another smile. “Sure if you are willing!” He wasn’t about to push the other man into doing something he didn’t like but he thought the other had enjoyed skating last time.

Quote:
“One reason I wanted to stay. Thought you might like this.” He stated prodding the other's shoulder before moving off to where the skate rentals were. Looking back at the other, flashing him a brilliant smile. He had never, when growing up, thought to go skating and had no friends who did. There hadn’t been much for time anyway, not with school, homework, studying, and everything else he’d had to do. His friends had been worse, as they’d all attended hagwons, so skating or such things had never happened.

He had been able to go to the gym for short bits of time and cosplay for conventions was easy-ish as conventions were on weekends, so that was easy and he’d been brought into it by a friend who was a fan of anime - a big fan.

Quote:
“Thank you, you know me so well.” Terry said with a laugh and leaned over to kiss Seung on the cheek before following him over to the rentals. He could easily admit that the smile the other man flash made his heart skip and he smiled back while trying not to look too sappy. The young man loved that he could share the time, as well as an activity that was so dear to him, with Seung but he tried to keep in mind that while skin ship was a thing he wasn’t sure what was taking it too far so people would jump to the right conclusion. He absolutely refused to get Seung in trouble and he already thought he probably pushed it with the kiss to the cheek a moment ago.

Quote:
“Of course, know you like skating.” He knew that and had kept that in mind when loosely planning the trip for them both. Seung turned back to the one working at the rentals asking for skates in his size, while asking he was pulling out his cell phone. He had to get Terry’s shoe size and translate it then, since they didn’t use the same measurements here. “Size for you?” He asked while pulling up a converter to help with this.

“You will help me so I don’t fall?” He asked, knowing he didn’t have to ask...but he did anyway. Terry wouldn’t let him fall and get hurt, he’d keep an eye on him, he really didn’t think it a good idea to start the trip off by getting hurt.

With his rental skates being offered up he handed Terry his phone so he could get his own shoes off and get the plastic skates on.

Quote:
It would have been hard to miss his love of skating yes so Terry gave Seung an amused look and a smile for his comment. When they got to the counter to rent their skates he had paused for a moment to wonder just how to tell what size he needed but the confusion vanished when he saw Seung pull out his phone and he told the other man what size after he asked. “Of course. Would you rather hold my arm or hand to start?” He asked with a fond look then Seung’s phone to hold on to when asked.

Quote:
“Ummm...hand...so don’t tangle up with your feet.” it might be easier, less risk. He didn’t want to tangle their feet and legs together and take them both to the ground, though it might just happen anyway. He was hoping to minimize the chances as best he could. Tieing his own skates he glanced over to the other. “Just point to size you need when converts. He will get for you.” And then Terry and him could spend some time skating. Later, before leaving the airport, he was planning on food and perhaps something else special - he wasn’t sure yet.

Quote:
“Good idea.” Terry chuckled, trying not to imagine just how that could get messy quickly. He got his skates and handed back Seung’s phone before he put on his skates. “Where do we leave our shoes?” He asked the other man as he stood up with no trouble keeping his balance. He made sure to hold out his hand towards the older man to help him get to his feet.

Quote:
Standing himself up, on both skates, he was glad for the other holding out his hands as he did wind up needing them. “Small lockers.” A small space of wall which looked to just be painted and decorated was actually small lockers. “We get a key from him and put our shoes in them.” And he did, with a lot of help, move to do that as he asked the man for a key for one locker - they would share. Confirming this, when questioned on it, he looked to Terry.

“Help me to the locker?” He was going to need the help, unless he wanted to face plant...or wind up smashing his face into a locker. His ability to balance on skates was not that good - he’d get there in time though...if he got more time spent in skates. He didn’t mind the idea but he didn’t have time really - he was busier than Terry knew.

Once the shoes were in the locker, with help from Terry, he motioned to where they could get onto the rink from. “Come on, let’s go.”

Quote:
Terry nodded then carefully bent to scoop up his shoes then looked over to see if Seung needed help picking his own up. He made sure to keep an eye on the other man when he moved to the counter for the key then gave a smile at the question. “Of course, which one is ours?” He asked while carefully leading Seung over to the lockers. Theoretically it wouldn’t take too long for the other man to get his balance but he would help for as long as he needed and more. When their shoes were put away he nodded when Seung pointed out where they got into the rink and he helped him move out onto the fake ice. “We’ll stick by the rail at first while you get used to it alright?”

Quote:
Offering the key, which had a little number hanging from it, to the other he made his way over slowly. Taking big wide steps as to try and keep his balance, he ignored how odd it really looked. Nodding to Terry’s words he smiled. “Yes, that will help.” That would be good for him. Once he had his balance Terry could go off and skate on his own and join the milling adults and small children who were with their parents. Just wait till he got Terry to Lotte….he couldn’t wait for that. Ohhh!!! And he knew how to lead up to it also.

“You know famous skaters...the ones who are in Olympics? Not know...but know of…?” He asked, curious.

Quote:
He didn’t laugh at how Seung walked, though he couldn’t keep the smile from spreading on his face, after all he couldn’t blame the other for walking that way. “Just follow my lead with how to move your feet and you will get the hang of it soon.” He promised, though he didn’t promise that Seung would be good balance wise as that would depend on him. The movements were pretty easy other wise though. When the other man brought up famous skaters he nodded with a smile. “Sure I know of a few. Sometimes I like to look up video’s of different routines to watch them.”

Quote:
“Kim Yuna?” He asked, curious, while reaching out to open the small bit of wall which would allow them access to the rink. He would indeed follow Terry’s lead, in fact he moved aside so the other could get onto the plastic rink first. He didn’t want to put his first down without some support when he did it, Terry had to go first.

“Yes...got balance last time...took time.” But he wasn’t going to keep from making mess up’s, that was bound to happen, like the last time he had still fallen a few times. He’d managed to find his balance...for the most part in time. At least here it wasn’t cold so they could perhaps that would help..he wouldn’t be fighting the need to shiver.

Quote:
“She has some beautiful routines, I loved the one where she skated to James Bond songs.” Terry said as he moved onto the rink then held out his hand to help Seung on as well. He eyed the other’s form to make sure he wouldn’t fall but between him and the rail he wasn’t really worried. After all, part of his experience with skating included skating with others which also involved skating holding with others, though he would rather Seung got used to skating. “It always does when you are still learning or hadn’t skated for a while.” Terry agreed with a nod.

Quote:
“Is very loved here...was on committee to help bring winter sport here.” She was one who inspired the next generation of skaters, some of whom practiced at Lotte World’s rink. He was hoping to go there and spot a few of the ones who clearly took lessons, who wanted to go someplace with skating. She was one of the reasons he watched winter ice skating during the olympics. “Is reason why I watch figure skating and have. She is...ice queen.” He said laughing softly at his own words.

Stepping out, with Terry’s help, he went for the rail and managing to not fall, or slip, he managed to keep still as he looked about. Remembering the motions he had seen from Terry, and the way others were moving around them, he was slow to try it but he did try and get his legs, and thus the skates, moving in the right way - slowly.

It took time, he wasn’t going to rush himself, but he did soon indicate he could go on his own - he was good. Terry could move around more freely. With a squeeze to the others shoulder and a few words to let him know as much. “Have more planned after skating...before we leave for Seoul.”

Quote:
“I hadn’t heard that but awesome.” Terry wasn’t surprised that she had a hand in helping the Olympics to come to South Korea but it was nice to see that the athletes have their input taken seriously. He gave a laugh at what Seung called her but nodded. “I can see why.” He said then started to slowly skate as Seung got his bearings, making sure the other man can see how he moved if he needed to. “What type of things do you have planned?” He asked, keeping close even if the other motioned that he could skate on his own.

Quote:
“Was one of biggest voices in committee.” He had informed the other. Kim Yuna had spoken very well when the bidding had been made. She had helped, he was certain of it, in achieving it. The host city had tried twice before the one that they had won. He had been, like the rest of his family and many of his friends, watching on tv to see if they would finally win the bid. He had celebrated, going out with friends, that night as he had been excited for the win.

“Food here...we can see what they have...and surprise on fourth floor.” Where they had their luggage. “Two surprise.” A shower, they were sure to need, and a full body massage. Incheon airport had thought of many things which they could offer people. “When we get to Seoul we can drop things off...go out if you want...or stay home.” He was hoping to go out...maybe he could show Terry a PC Bang? The other did like computers and the internet here he was sure to like...he had told Terry it was fast but not how fast. He’d told him once that some sites in Destiny City were...not in Korea or were very slow - throttled.

“Maybe dinner out also.” He was up for a restaurant, bar, or street food - h would leave it to the other. They had time and a lot they could do. He did want to fit in temple and maybe the old palace gates but those could wait a few days.

Quote:
“Good, I’m proud of her then.” Terry said with a nod. He would have to see if there were any articles on what was said later when he had the chance. For now he would keep his thoughts to the discussion here and now. “No hints on the surprises?” He asked with a playful smile, not actually expecting any. “We’ll have to decide when we get there and drop everything off, after all your family might want to spend time with you too.” He would love to go out and explore but at the same time he would hate to cut into Seung’s reunion with his family on the first night if they wished to catch up.

Quote:
“No, no hints on surprises. Not till we are up there.” Nope, he was keeping the surprises to himself, he wasn’t going to give them up, he wanted to see Terry’s reaction and see the other enjoy the surprises. He was planning a few surprises for him, he also planned to buy more beauty products for Terry’s mom as a gift to her. He just wasn’t sure what to bring back for the others father and elder brother...and it felt like he needed to.

“Might want spend time but not likely, not when I want to show you around.” That would likely get them letting him go out with Terry, even if they had wanted him to stay, and he would take advantage of that - without a doubt.

While Terry skated, he had tried to wave him off and tell him to do his own thing, Seung had managed to make it about a good part of the rink. His feet managed to stop wobbling and trying to buckle inward under his weight, a good thing for him, as he moved about and even took his hands off the rail. His balance had improved enough but he was still close to the rails.

It was when Terry was ready to leave, he didn’t mind continuing to stake and watch the other skate, that Seung had gotten off the rink and removed his skates so he could turn them in and walk over to get his and Terry’s shoes from the locker. “Ok, food then surprises.” He said smiling brightly at the other.

Quote:
Terry wasn’t surprised at the response to his playful question and just chuckled in return. He then raised an eyebrow at Seung saying how it wasn’t likely his family would like to spend time with him. Maybe they weren’t really close? He shrugged it off as something to ask the other later. While he was reluctant to go off skating without Seung he did eventually go a few laps as well as tossing in a few tricks just to get the blood pumping before they left the rink. When they were finished switching their shoes and returning the skates Terry gave a smile and a nod. “Ready when you are.”
