Souichi Takamoto
-----
Obsidian wings flapped a bit as a male figure landed softly onto the forest grounds, adjusting his hood as the flying appendages vanished like smoke. Souichi was still looking for the plant necessary for his friend, Hinata, who was working at the apothecary. That herb was rumored to be located on that verdant spot near the village which was said to be the haven for witches, meaning he had to fly in order to reach there. He still had his weapon in case animals would come by and defend their territory. But so far, there was not even a single creature that popped out and bared its fangs at him. So far so good, but his keen senses were on the lookout. He couldn't afford to let his guard down.
His booted footsteps were silent as he ventured deeper into the forest. Suddenly, a fox appeared out of nowhere and his golden orbs dilated in surprise. But he decided not to snoop the fox, waiting instead for the right moment to do the approach. After a few minutes, he sauntered, still recalling the direction of the tailed creature, until he noticed an oak tree that was huge. The ginger-haired moved closer until he noticed a figure sitting in the hollowed cavity of the trunk. Sou blinked in surprised, not expecting the sight and resisting the urge to yelp out in surprise.

Sou choked out a gasp when the fox left his side and returned to the owner. Again, he was mistaken as one of the people who were on the hunt for him and he sighed with a sad smile."Look, you are mistaken, okay? I'm just a traveler who was just searching for something important in the forest, not to kill you like the townspeople you mentioned. But I admit, I did hear rumors about the place before." Based on the frightened expression of the stranger, those rumors were indeed bad. Really bad.
The growing of vines to conceal them all startled him a bit and he blinked in puzzlement, completely in shock. He then returned his attention to the stranger, noticed the exchange of glances and the fox nuzzled his side. Sou chuckled and gave it another gentle pat. The archer nodded in response to the question and grinned. "If you won't mind me having to carry you bridal style and flying straight to my adobe. I'm a fallen angel, you see."

The fallen angel hummed in wonder at the clarification. "Yep, I know not all witches are bad people. Even fallen angels can be a bad bunch when intentions are malevolent." But at least Toshi and Hina are not part of that evil bunch even with some arguments here and there. At the witch lowered his book, the ginger-haired could see more of the scars. Now he felt bad for the poor kid. He let the fox retreat to its master so that it would feel comfortable. Truly, it was a cute sight, but Sou would savor more on that later when they would depart to the Takamoto household.
The male witch introduced himself as Lucia Whitewood as Sou fastened his bow onto the quiver together with the arrows. He smiled warmly. "I have to say, that's a nice name. My name's Souichi Takamoto." The vines then vanished and he listened intently about leaving abruptly and the dark spirits lurking at the skies at night time. The bowman lifted the witch bridal style, grinning and trying to reassure the other. "I'll make sure to kill them, then." And with that, he took off to the night sky, though he had to explain to Hinata about the situation later on alongside the apology.

As the fallen angel soared across the sky, he felt the witch relaxing under his hold, though he took notice of the blush coating the mage's cheeks as Lucia snuggled on his chest. Indeed, the sight was beautiful with the stars and the glowing moon as their companions, but he still had to be on the lookout in case spirits would charge and attack them abruptly for trespassing. So far, they decided to let them go... For now, at least. Sou just wanted to take care of the poor witch until he was back on his feet again. He would not let anyone harm the innocent boy, not by a long shot.
By the time Souchi arrived back to the family adobe, his landing was soft. He took a few steps forward before knocking on the door, notifying his parents of his arrival from the trip.
(Taking a nap after this.)

The fallen angel gave a few more knocks on the door before Nico, the spirit fox, gave out a yip, inducing a glance from Sou. The animal's eyes glowed a little and gave a telepathic message to the archer and the ginger-haired nodded in affirmation. Truly, poor Lucia was not feeling well because of the ordeal back in that town. At another whine from the fox, he was about to say something when the spellbook vanished and the sliding doors finally opened, his parents' faced morphed with confusion and disbelief. Sou explained that the guy needed help and although the dad was feeling slightly hesitant, the mother allowed her son to do the thing.
He first gave the witch a spongecloth bath before cleaning his wounds and applying the gauze, dressing him up in a simple white robe. His mother was the one providing the futon for Lucia to sleep in for comfort. After laying the blanket onto the unconscious body, Sou sighed in relief. Now, all he could do was wait patiently for the witch to rouse from the slumber.

As it turned out, Sou was actually sleeping after his nightly rituals before bedtime. The fallen angel was lying in his own futon as he waited for the witch to wake up. But sleep claimed him first before he would get to see the other guy waking up and slowly recovering from the condition. His own hand was beside him, fingers curled, as he snored softly, ginger hair splayed out on the pillow. Indeed, he was tired as hell from the ordeal, but fallen angels had a slightly faster recovery than humans, so he would feel good after the rest. He shifted slightly so that his face was shown to Lucia, peaceful and child-like. The archer's mother would compliment him sometimes for being too cute, which he took it happily.
Meanwhile, the mother saw the witch staring at the window and smiled warmly. "Feeling well, young child?" she questioned the witch with a soft tone in order not to disturb the slumbering bowman.
