Lixes was out doing what he was best at, that being acting the part of a hero! He was looking for something to do, though it seemed as though it had been a pretty slow day thus far as far as saving people went. It was a really nice day, the weather was agreeable, and everyone seemed to just be taking it easy. It was a good thing for everyone but Lixes because it meant that there was nothing at all for him to do! How could be be a hero when there was nothing going on after all? Giving a bit of a sighing sound he looked from side to side, arms crossed his over his chest, "There has to be something for me to do." He muttered to himself, one ear giving a little twitch.
Just as he was about to give up and consider going home he heard a scream. Lunging to his feet his eyes filled with excitement, "It's time!" He said to himself before racing forward toward the sound. What was going on? Was someone being hassled by bandits? Was someone in need of rescue from a giant monster? There were so many things that could be happening that a hero was needed for and Lixes wanted to be that hero. He came to a sliding halt as he heard another screaming sound, finding a young woman getting assaulted by... something... little. It was climbing up her back while she flailed around, attempting to escape from him. It was kind of... cute or at least it would be if the girl wasn't flailing around, calling for help as far as the little thing went. Not exactly the giant beast he thought he'd be saving someone from but it was something, right?
Setting his hammer down, since it was needed when it came to something as small as the creature before him he hurried forward. Once he got close enough he reached a hand out to catch the odd creature by it's scruff, lifting it up off of the flailing girl. Once he'd saved her the girl whirled around, looking at Lixes, and he realized that she was holding food in her other hand? He blinked a couple times and asked, "Was it after you for your food?" She didn't look all scratched up or bitten, so maybe the little creature was just some sort of sneak thief?
The girl turned, starring at the weird little thing that Lixes was holding onto before she looked at the food she held. It was as though it was suddenly dawning on her why the feline was climbing her like a tree, it was because she had food. Giving a little laugh she reached out, carefully taking the beast out of Lixes's hands, "Thank you! I didn't know what it was after! It just suddenly jumped on the back of my leg and started to climb up my back!" With that she set to offering some of the food to the little beast, seemingly winning it over in an instant.
Lixes gave a bit of a laugh, finding it a bit funny that she went from screaming over the thing to feeding it. Well... he'd call it a win! All was well that ended well and this felt like one of those moments. After chatting with the girl a little longer he was off once more, seeking out others to save.
