Normally Gyuri wouldn't be interested in the rumors that were being spread by others, seeing as being a bit of a waste of time. It wasn't as though he was interested in things that didn't pertain to the inn and those that lived there after all. Sure, if it had to do with dangers that might threaten them then he would want to know but when it came to the stories about 'mysterious wreckage of days gone by' he couldn't' say that he cared... at least until the person claiming to have such things appeared at the inn. It was something that caused quite a stir too, causing more people to gather around her, and suddenly there were people everywhere. It was something that was a bit on the worrisome side if only because Eira wasn't present to deal with such things. Surely they didn't want a bunch of gawkers showing up to see the 'wreckage' the traveler was carrying with them while Eira was away? What if they just made a mess but didn't actually buy any food, drink, or stay the night? There were a lot of them meaning that it would be difficult for Gyuri to chase them off alone.
Walking forward toward the group that was gathering outside of the inn he decided that it was time for him to take a peek, to figure out what was so great about what the travel carried, and go from there. If it was all just a scam then he would be sure to chase the stranger off but if it was something else, f the person didn't mean harm then he would allow them to stay. He just hoped that they were all actually planning to stay as opposed to just hanging around outside all day chatting about the strange wreckage that they had found.
As he got closer he could hear people asking all manner of questions about the strange objects that the traveler was holding. One appeared to be a large hunk of metal with designs on them, possibly old writing, as well as a twisted up piece of metal. He starred for a moment at both of the items, sizing them up, and then crossed his arms over his chest. Those items looked rather interesting, didn't they? They were odd looking pieces, weren't they? They were like nothing that he'd seen before that much was for certain. He was a bit curious about what they were and where they came from but he didn't exactly want to become a part of the same crowd. He didn't want to skulk around or crowd the guy. He would leave that sort of thing to the rest of this gathering crowd he thought to himself in an idle manner, feeling that he could probably pick up the information that he wanted to know just by listening.
It seemed that he was partly right in that assumption too as he was able to catch a bit about what was being said. It appeared as though the man was certain that the pieces came from some thing made a long time ago, from an age long past, and he supposed that he could believe that. That twisted bit of metal wasn't something that he'd ever seen before now so surely it had to be made by someone else, right? Another culture, another tribe, one that wasn't around anymore for whatever reason. What if it were a hoax though? What if it was just something the man had made to draw attention? Given that some of the people gathered around were offering the man various things like drinks, food, and their attention it was a possibility that it was all for that exact thing. Putting on a show for profit, it was something those at the inn did all the time.
Due to that fact alone, that the man might just be the attention seeking sort, he was going to keep an eye on things. So long as they didn't start a big commotion then he supposed that it would be alright, right? After a moment of debating with himself he finally called out, "If anyone is interested we have stew on inside and open rooms!" Best that he let them know, even if it meant talking that much. He wasn't the sort that liked to talk a lot but given that Eira wasn't here to make the offer then he would do so himself! He had to do his best for the inn until the real mistress of the place returned he thought to himself before turning on his heel, heading back toward the inn once more.
