It was strange, being too smart for your own good. It was also strange being compelled to wander around after those weird folks that the internet said were terrorists. It was fascinating. He wondered what sort of interesting technology they must have, so sometimes he got a little too close to the action...or sat waiting, watching, wanting to catch one of them in action.
Sometimes, he even felt a weird sort of welling inside, like he were far more intwined with the costumed weirdos than he knew. Or those times when he felt drawn to a space for reasons unknown.
After his furry majesty had been groomed by the pre-teen at the apartment complex, he set out at a jaunty pace to cruise for action and came close enough to the aura of someone that made everything fall into place: a senshi. Memories hit, purpose rediscovered; but by the time Tiberius had stopped reeling from the resurgence of purpose, the white and gold was long gone, leaving the fluffy Mauvian along sitting on a brick fence wondering how he'd gone so long without knowing.
All this going on around them...but they don't even care. That's stupid. "Really stupid." Ivynian Sorry it's kind of ....*hands* but it's a start!

Truly staggering, the sheer scale of finding so small an aura in all of a city- Mauvians barely projected unless one was practically on top of them. The benefits that could be derived from them, for the black senshi that served the ranks and the aural dampening for the rest, made the little white light that suddenly sparked in proximity to General Schörl. She looked up from her spot on a residential roof, a gathering energy orb in her hand. Her fingers closed on it, and her eyes scanned the yard, the near rooves, the trees. It must be near- There. Words spoken. Clearer words than a TV set muffled in a building, and from the left. There was a small shadow there, on the border wall. Catch it from behind. The back of the neck, to scruff and lift and it cannot fight back. She moved, sliding Barbary's paws onto her boots and hands and over her head. No sound. None at all, hunting cats. Not even breath. Close enough for a sprint and catch. Closer. It will feel the massive aura, but we're so close, on top of each other, it must rely on other senses. Closer.

Tiberius was Distracted by the wall of thoughts going through his head: he wasn't just a smart cat, he was a Mauvian...which made his interest in all things technologic suddenly very sensible instead of quirky. He noticed the heavy aura, felt the low queasiness from thick Chaos but it was all around - there was no pinpointing it and to be fair, it was hard to make sense of whether or not this was a normal thing or new. Perhaps Destiny City always felt this way? There was a feeling of apprehension that followed the not knowing - the sense of something wrong, something big. Tibs looked around, plumed tail lashing and a low growl rising in his chest. Something's not right here.... Ears swiveled in all directions, seeking sound as eyes scanned the tableau before him. Everything looked normal. Maybe it's just how things are? Tiberius ducked his shoulders down the way cats did while his furry elbows made sharp points on either side as he half-crouched on the warmed bricks, alert and waiting.

Close enough. Schörl paused on the ledge of the roof just about where the wall connected to the building. It was close enough for a sprint and attempt to grab, not unlike a cat stalking a mouse or small bird. Which was the more likely- that this Mauvian would leap for the sky, the ground beneath the wall, or straight along it? She touched Barbary's paw and pointed down, resolving to take the leap to air or along the wall herself. There was no need for a preparatory butt wiggle. The General rocketed from the crouch. Muscles pushed. Pounded the stone in complete silence. Reached. Lunged. Grasp outstretched for that puffy, fluffy scruff.

Silken plume waved as his tail made short, aggravated jerks. Something was going to happen, he could feel it...but what? And was Destiny City just so infested with Chaos that he would forever be tasting it in the back of his throat like bad tuna? Puzzling these things out, Tiberius' reaction time was not as good as it might otherwise have been, and the General was able to catch him by the scruff just as he was springing away to avoid being taken by the one he now understood had likely been the cause of the heavy Chaos aura. "Put me down!" An unholy yowling, shrieking caterwauling came from the captured Mauvian and he twisted his body the way pissed off cats did, using every ounce of flexibility inherent in his feline form to slash at any portion of the officer's body he could get his claws near. Jaws open to bare fang and make biting easier, razor sharp claws seeking flesh, fur puffed out with clumps flying, Tiberius was not going to make it easy for his captor to hold onto him. If only I could face them... Then he'd give them a proper fight! Get his one-off going and high-tail it out of there. Ivynian enjoy ur furry weedwhacker

Schörl laughed, though the sound was deadened under the aegis of Barbary's Silence. The strength of a General was more than enough to hold aloft the furry fury as steadily as cast iron. Barbary slunk down from his cowling to just her shoulders, giving power again to the Green General's voice, "Not yet, Mauvian. You are mine. " So large, close up. The scruffing was no doubt painful at such heft. The threat of the stunning laser the cats had made ample warning against giving the leverage of foot support. Free hand found crystal communicator, and a separate problem from the captive's size: no Sovereign official to the General Operations. It meant the possibility of less of a response to a call for action, and a 'It's not my problem' response. But Sovereign or the Queen IS necessary for turning an active starseed's allegiance. Axinite, Hessonite, Lepidolite, Howlite, Zinkenite. Laurelite. "General Schörl, rendevous request to General-Sovereign Axinite: Custody secured Mauvian to be naturalized. There was no response on the communicator but the message had been delivered; a moment later, a surge of power flickered into the area. Axinite arrived, not so very far from the two. "I apologize for the delay," he said as he approached the General; he was brushing down his uniform, trying to smooth it out and regain a bit of composure. He didn't seem frazzled, but it was clear that he had come from some other task. He adopted a smile to greet Schörl and stopped next to her. "I haven't seen a White Moon Mauvian in some time." He seemed impressed. "They were rare in my previous posts, I've only brought over a few. Schörl, you have done a splendid job. I intend to pass on a few word of praise to the Queen. May I?" he asked, holding his hand out as if to take the Mauvian from her. It wasn't that he couldn't corrupt the cat while Schörl was holding it, only that it it would have been both an awkward position and could have put them at risk for attack. "Little one," he said to the Mauvian, "What is your name?"

The general's voice called in for a General-Sovereign and Tiberius felt a prickling of fear that set his fat, furry body flailing harder for one last wild push; it was to no avail, however, as Schörl had hold firm and unyielding. Not wanting to damage his own spine, the Mauvian became as dead weight, ears swept back and death-rattle growl rumbling in his chest like a motorcycle. There would be other chances to escape, he was certain confident. Axinite's arrival brought fresh hissing and show of teeth - the man came close, praising Schörl for having captured him, and Tiberius's tail lashed. Just a little more, come on Carrot Top...get your a** in closer and I'll give you a taste of what it's like to BSoD. He swatted at the reaching hand - a distraction tactic to get the guy to present himself properly for a face full of Mauvian laser. "It's Tiberius, Carrot Top." "Face me like a man and I'll show you little one! Coward!"

'I intend to pass on a few word of praise to the Queen.' Do you now. Laurelite or Metallia. But what have you been up to, General Soveriegn?
Not wrangling mauvians, at least. Smiles from the Sovereigns were daggers in the dark, and left the wonder what this one would have in store for any who truly caught his attention beyond a single task. "They are numerous in Destiny City, sir. " She gave furry noisemaker over into his grasp, carefully aware of what direction the face was pointing. Catching a tiger by the tail had caveats, whether a more powerful officer was present, aware, or even cared. Barbary set to climbing up her uniform to become a cape again. Does it know it's name so soon? Or do they take whatever names their human owners or shelters gave them?

"Of course," Axinite confirmed; he was mindful to avoid standing directly in front of the cat. He held it by the scruff, mindful of the claws. He had good glove on, at least--just in case. "Calm down," he instructed. "You'll only hurt yourself if you struggle, and I don't think that's what either of us want. Tiberius, was it?" He tested the name carefully and then reached another hand under the cat so he could reach at his chest. It was a delicate procedure; Mauvian starseeds were different from the usual ones, so he was particularly cautious. "If you relax, you'll barely feel a thing. And we'll get you something nice to eat and a good home afterwards, all right?" He glanced up at Schorl somewhat questioningly, and while he didn't speak it was clear what he was asking-- do you want to look after him?

Being told that his continued efforts at struggling would only cause harm, Tiberius settled a bit; it wasn't as though the orange-haired dandy were wrong, even just hanging there, scruffed, was a bit painful. He just wasn't built like a 'normal' cat, and the musculo-skeletal differences were making his position increasingly unpleasant, Negaverse notwithstanding. "I'm not buyin' what you're selling, prettyboy." Less heat accompanied that jibe; reality and logic said that this was going to happen. Granted, the hand coming to his fuzzy chest made a wonderful target, and the big Mauvian grabbed at it with all claws to make him stop - a bit of a 'hold the hell up' gesture...with some extra stab. He'd been captured by the enemy and would shortly be joining their ranks - it would hurt less, apparently, if he cooperated. "I want a tablet and access to ebay for parts." Request made, the Mauvian went limp and unresisting in Axinite's hold, claws coming out of the fabric covering the General Sovereign's hands and just kind of hanging there, toe tuffs looking rather regal. "Get it over with, hanging here sucks."

Schörl answered with a wordless, deliberate nod. For the immediate future of the creature, it made sense. It would need training and debriefing, and she had immediate access to Ceraskia as a senshi for it to learn the ins-and-outs of being a Mauvian in the Negaverse with. The aural blocking would also come in handy for future operations. Quite Handy. The attempt at bargaining was entertaining. If it keeps it's technological interests and know-how, that can be seen to as well. More so than could be done by a teenager at a boarding school. Money, occupation, and civilian connections I do keep for strategic use.
Tiberius. Tibur, the Tiberis, and the king of Alba Longa. The Aemilii, Claudii, and Sempronii...at least it isn't something insipid. It will do as a name.

Axinite seemed satisfied and smiled at Schörl—and the Mauvian. “That and more will be provided, of course.” It wasn’t just a pretty lie to placate the creature; it was as easy as offering him a lifetime supply of air. To deny a Mauvian technology would have been foolish and a waste of their unique abilities. “Take a breath, relax,” he insisted, though he seemed aware that the cat had already gone limp in his grip. He didn’t want to drag his out any longer than he needed to so with his free hand, he reached into the Mauvain’s chest and fished around for the starseed. It was painless, up until the point when his hand wrapped around it and he started to pump Chaos into it. He could have done a slow, steady pump of Chaos, but all that did was cause a slightly less, but more prolonged, pain. So he shoved it all at once—careful, calculated, efficient. When he was satisfied, when he was confident that the Mauvian was theirs, he adjusted his grip and drew him into his arms with a bit more tenderness. He kept a grip on the back of his neck all the same, just in case, but he was at least making a effort to make him more comfortable.

Tiberius did as Axinite bade, noting as the flame-eyed general nodded acquiescence that she'd caretake the Mauvian once he'd been corrupted. So he'd have a place to stay and technology to play with - okay. Things could've been far, far worse, really. At least, that was what the feline thought until Axinite's hand sank into his furry chest and grasped his starseed. It didn't hurt initially, but the moment the orange-haired dandy started the influx of Chaos energy, it was agony. All intent to keep claws out of the General King's clothes and flesh went right out the window and a soundless hissing scream came from the Mauvian's suddenly gaping maw as his entire body went stiff. Blessedly, it didn't last long, and at the end Tiberius sagged with panting, boneless exhaustion in Axinite's arms. "Leggo my neck, boss." A request of sorts, but plainly he would not be zapping anyone - the star gracing his forehead had gone from a bright blue to a darker one, and all claws had once more been retracted. "I'm tired."

Succinct and satiating came the words: capitulation rolled into an already base understanding of hierarchical power structure. Solitary in many cases, natural cats could work cooperatively within colony structures in the wild. Mauvians were a unguessable thing insofar as how much or how little they resembled their inherited Terran bodies. The deed done, then. It is possible, and I have personally seen the conversion of a Mauvian. “Water, small vittles and a comfortable, quiet space to rest for a while. “ And brushing, bath, flea treatment...there will not be cat hair, nor dander, on the antiques. Preparations ahead of time can’t be helped though. Some of it will have to wait. The smoking room will do as temporary housing for the first night. It’s enclosed and filtered. Easier to treat after than the whole loft. “Are there any specific, immediate, procedures for Mauvians that I will need to see to, General King?”
