Chris' return to Wis is quick, just as he promised, and he ducks under the blooms feeling happy. A little excited, to bring her back this information. He had seen so much from the garden that he was pleased and he's quick to sit by the tree.
"I'm back," He calls, pleased.

She is not there at first but then the breeze comes through, the wisteria blossoms shifting in it, and there she is. Wis is peering around the trunk of the tree once more, fingers curled against the bark. I am glad. Then, in an almost eager brush of wind. What did you hear?

"Nothing bad," Chris says, giving her a smile. "The rosebush says it's okay, that it couldn't talk because it's behind the rosemary. It'll grow enough to be able to talk soon."
He hums for a moment, bringing the news back to the forefront of his mind. "The gazebo, it's tired. It's been growing, trying to take over the structure entirely. It's doing well, it said, just that it's been sleeping more. And finally, the flower, it's just quiet and doesn't want to talk. It seems a little melancholy is all. I didn't expect that part of the garden to be that cold, either."

That isn't the first time the rosemary has done that. I was concerned, she admitted. The other news about the gazebo was taken with a small nod of her head. It is meant to be. If you explore enough you will find the seasons within the garden. She smiled up at him. Thank you for bringing me this news. I can now help them.

"That's interesting," Chris said, drumming his fingers on his leg. "I'll have to go looking into that another day, I didn't know. I thought it was just warm like all this."
He nods deeply at her smile. "It was my pleasure, I wanted to go look around anyways. You just gave me a reason to not get lost."

Here is different than the other parts of this place. Things must be kept and remembered, even if they are forgotten by time. She folded her hands into her lap. ... and this place operates differently. When it is warm here, it is cold where you are from. Strange eyes glanced up at him. At least that is what I have heard.

"Ah," Chris said quietly, mulling over what Wis said. It seemed like the garden was a catch-all, a keeper so to speak. It would make sense, if it was.
"That makes sense," He said, "It's been getting colder out in Ashdown, but here it's warmer. It sounds about right."

Wis nodded her head in agreement. Then she gestured for him to come close again, to sit beside her.

Chris shuffled forward easily, settling down next to Wis without any problems. He offered his hand out to her again, a gentle nudge. He liked her a lot, he liked this day a lot. It was a good one.

She took his hand in hers, pale skin that felt like wood, and smiled up at him. There was a time- Wis stopped and shook her head. It was a story for another time. I will give you a gift, as a thank you, for what you have done.

"A gift?" Chris questioned, gently. "You don't have to, this was a pleasure for me to do anyways." He squeezed her hand gently, gave her a smile himself.

You are meant to have it. She squeezed his hand. You enjoy the things that are on this side yet you cannot have them there. Then she was letting go of his hand, body turning and clearly trying to lift herself up again to move. So I will give you a gift, she repeats.

"Okay," Chris says, agreeing with her quietly. He was not going to argue such a generous offer, even if he didn't know entirely what she meant.
He watched her try to move and then asked, "Do you want some help to move? I could um. Carry you."

She blinked as if she had not considered this. ... if you would not mind? Wis looked up at him shyly. I need to reach up higher. A finger pointed towards the higher portions of the trunk of the wisteria.

"Not a problem," Chris said, shifting into a crouch. He gently placed one arm under Wis' knees, the other around her back and lifted her up into a perfect princess carry. His height was for once a help and he shifted, moving towards where she wanted to go.
"This alright?"
