So once again I would like to apologize for my inactivity lately, and to take a moment to thank FindingJackie, my wonderful, super-helpful Vice Captain, for being able and willing to step up while I've been tangled up.
So, I've had to put a pin in the bookstore for the moment. My financial situation got to a point where I had to literally go to a temp agency to find work as quickly as possible. My partner left his job due to some issues with the co-workers, relating to them doing drugs on the job and the bosses just not caring. He hasn't found another one yet, so I've been working at a factory as a temp. I seem to have things more or less under control for now...
However, I have no time while managing catching up all my bills and keeping myself fed and working, so until things are way more under control than they are right now, which would be when my partner starts a job again and we no longer have to juggle impending disconnects on our services, among other money-related problems to actually continue with the time-consuming process of opening a bookstore. I do have a solid, nearly complete business plan, and only have a few things I need to change or fix when I do get back to it, so at least there's been some progress. I may choose to relocate before or when I open the bookstore? I haven't fully decided that yet.
I will, however, be around more often and participating again. I couldn't pick up Geisha this month so I missed out on that one but I can read it some other time. I will be voting on and reading next months book, though! So I'm excited to get back into this.
Thank you again so very much Jackie! You stepped up to the plate and I super appreciate you being able to kind of take over for me for a bit there. My life's always been a bit of a roller coaster. I'm trying to smooth it out for good, but knowing my luck it'll stay bumpy forever, lol.

You're welcome! ^_^ I like this place, so it seemed natural to step in when you needed help. I hope things will get better for you from now on. Take care of yourself and keep enjoying the little things.

Glad we have been able to create such a great place together over these last 10-11 months! =D I like it here too, I'm sad I had to be away so long.
