Sasori was still young, however, they knew it was finally time to say goodbye to all the memories and friends they had made while attending Freshling courses at the Academy. Things had come and gone much faster than they had imagined it would, and they already missed everyone they had met while there. It wasn't goodbye for forever, at least, they'd still be attending the Academy, but this time as a Junior. There was a part of them that was super excited about this, but another part that was kind of sad. They hoped they'd see their new friends again and continue to grow in those relationships, but they couldn't wait to see what else awaited them as they changed classes and had new opportunities.
Sasori was kind of sad for their mother, too. They watched their mother go through a few different emotions at the thought of their daughter growing up. They knew most people probably wouldn't have noticed as their mother was a rather quiet type and tended to keep her thoughts to herself, but Sasori could see it in her eyes. They just wanted to make their mother proud and happy, and they wanted their mother to have a family that would grow with her and help her become happy again after losing her parents. It wasn't that they thought their mother was unhappy, but they knew that their mother had gone through a lot and wanted to be surrounded by people who loved her. Sasori wanted to give her that, even if it wouldn't be for a few more years still and they did have plans to get a career before the thought of children could even enter their head!
Life was moving fast, however, and Sasori was being met by questions of what they wanted to do when they were finally old enough to move out on their own. It was a question that had weighed heavily on them. A part of them was still wanting to stay home with their mother for years to come, but there was another part of them that wanted to go out and see the world. They had become fascinated by their mother's career choice, and they wanted to follow in her footsteps, however, they wanted to go out and see those other places and interact with hidden history around them! Going out to explore sounded like the greatest thing in the world to them! They couldn't wait to explore things they had never even heard of! How did people live years ago? What kind of choices did they make that led to the world being the way it is now? The thought of all these things made them squeal inside, there were too many possibilities!
Leaving home was still a hard thought to think about, they knew it'd happen, but not for a few years still. For now, they were happy enough to be at home and be there for their mother, staying home could be an adventure too!
