So let us discuss shall we what is everyone's opinion on dating ages. Maturity vs Legality. Age Gaps. When to Start Dating. etc..

Hmmm, for me personally I'm not into dating.
But for regards to other people, hmm.... I think Age-Gaps are fine (as long as the younger partner is like, at least in their 17ish/18-21's already (or past that age).
However, if the one partner is under-aged and he/she is dating someone like.... over a 4 year Age-Gap with them or something... I think that raises a red flag....
Ideally, I think maturity in an important factor in the relationship.
So... I don't recommend like, little 11-13 year old/s getting all serious and start thinking about getting gf/bfs. burning_eyes
I think hanging out, having cute little crushes, and being kids is awesome enough for them. lol

i started dating when i was er.. goodness.... 14? didnt get intimate with another person till i was 16 tho that was my transition from men to females (never got that far with a guy cause.. no) as far as dating age i dont see a problem with people dating young as long as they are properly educated on what could happen.. STDs babys etc.. also its a little naive to think kids arent doing it so i think they should be able to buy protection otherwise its short sighted on adults part cause they were kids once too they should know better...
as for gap... i have a personal belief that i wont date anyone 3-4 years younger or 5 years older cause other wise we are just to far apart in what we want in life and maturity lvl .. ive learned this from experience.
as far as -18 vs +18 i dont see a problem if said person is 16 dating a 19 but a 16 dating a 25 year old is a bit much thats when the lines really really grey for me and 15/-15 with +18 is just not ok in my books .. the 15 be it male or female just started puberty while the other is pretty much done... maybe im a biggot but that just seems predatory to me

Age gaps after both persons are over 18 are fine tho.. Kinda creepy in some cases. Call me crazy but even hearing about a 18yr old and a 16 yr old dating kinda erks me. Maybe I look back at myself and know that those two years mentioned for myself I was vastly two levels of maturity
Granted any larger age gaps could be a sign of something else going on. For and example I was with a 24-25 yr old at 17. They turned out to be very immature and wanted someone younger to "control" Thus why they targeted younger people.Now since some shady crap can come out of age gaps I would say the person would need to be mature and not just being a teenager with a floaty crush mind to make a good judgement.
For the age to start dating all depends on the person. Some kids got their head on straight and others don't. Obviously whoever you date in middle school and high school you 99% won't end up with them long. But crushed crazied kids who aren't mentally really to date go nuts and act poorly.
The answer to the proposed question varies greatly. Maturity level no matter of age. Intent etc all plays into the factor. For those under 18 I do believe a guardian should keep an eye on them and yes allow or stop them from dating. And we obviously have laws to prevent other age gaps of negative intent.
In all reality everyone is free to do what they like and our opinions are meaningless.
