The father of Queen Alexis, King Geralt brought the Phoenix Kingdom from ground. Bringing together all the Phoenix to fight the dragons, he was a skilled warrior, but the wisdom that came with age was no match for the unification of Empire. In order to save the Phoenix race from destruction King Geralt and his daughter knelt to the growing power that was Lionis, and shortly after it is said King Geralt died from a broken heart, broken from having to kneel to the enemy.

Queen Alexis came to power late in her years, having already had her two children, married and lost her husband to the war. It was said she would have been a great ruler if she had not been knocked off a cliff before she began as her heart was in the right place, but her mind was not.

The whole of the newly formed Ethe was subject to her whim, If she was in a bad mood one day dozens of people would be executed, if she was in a good mood maybe only one would meet death while the rest would be invited to a feast. She was subject to constant paranoia after she was forced to kneel to Lionis, believing that her army was under the control of the Dragon Emperor she had all of the Kingdoms most talented generals executed on nothing more then suspicion.

It was during this time that the Kingdom of Bellris would rise to power in the north, adding to Queen Alexis' already fragile state. With Phoenix people defecting to the Kingdom of Bellris executions became more frequent and the Queen hired assassins to take out the ruler of Bellris. Later on Queen Alexis sought priests and priestesses that could give her her one wish, control over all Phoenix Kind. She ordered that a reward bigger than any could match would be given tot he man or women that could deliver this to her.

Queen Alexis would later meet a man saying that he could give her her wish. This man gave Queen Alexis the Phoenix crown, a beautiful creation made of Silk and gold to which he said the crown could give her her greatest wish, she would take the crown and it was said that the moment she placed it upon her head her eldest son Raul burst into the room with three dozen guards and forced Queen Alexis to abdicate. When she did not Raul threw Queen Alexis into prison and took the throne by force, ending the reign of Bloody Alexis.

Once she was stripped of her power Queen Alexis seemed to get better, no longer lashing out at her people, after a few years in prison she was released and allowed to remain as Queen Dowager to King Raul, and slowly after Ethe began to build itself up.

At the young age of nineteen, Queen Madeline and her husband Yorik had their only children, a set of twins that they would name Stella and Sylvano. The birth of the twins made it so Queen Madeline could no longer have children and according to record their was so much blood that the doctors could not tell which child was born first which made the law difficult to interpret as according to law, weather the child is born male or female, the first born would take the throne, but since none could tell which was born first it was up to the king to name his successor when the time came.

As they grew, Stella started to show much promise in the arts, literacy and strategy but her heart was cold. While Sylvano stood out more when it came to war and mathematics and he loved his people, the twins seemed like two sides of the same coin and it came to their fifteenth birthday that it was obvious that if one or the other took the throne the Kingdom would suffer in the aspects that where not represented.

So it came then that day the king was supposed to name his successor, and he chose both, his famous words being written by many whom came to see the coronation "Without contrast we would all be blind. If all we saw was light we would never know joy, and if all we saw was darkness then how would we grow? Balance is required for this Kingdom to carry on and I can see no better choice then for my children to corule as Queen and King, standing together and flying to new heights"

Stella and Sylvano where coroneted in sequence and rose as King and Queen. Stella would never marry and Sylvano would show affection toward many women, having a harem like many of his processors, he would have many children, however he would fall in love with a woman named Arianna, a beautiful Phoenix woman with pale white hair rumored to be of low standing. He would marry her just a few days before they had their only child, a girl named Ophelia, whom grew up to be intelligent, wise, careing...she seemed to be the perfect combination that the Former king, Yorik, was looking for.

Queen Stella seemed to see this and refused to see the girl, one day while Arianna was feeding her few year old daughter she would be about ready to give her porridge when she would see that the silver spoon had turned black. A full scale investigation was launched to find out whom would want to poison the little Ophelia, and the poison was found in Queen Stella's bed chambers.

Sylvano went around to each of the lords, getting a majority ruleing that forced the Twins to live in separate castles, but the attempts didn't stop their as less then a year later an assassin was stopped by the guards....Sylvano tried to ignore it, but when a second assassin was sent and almost succeeded Sylvano had had enough and had Stella arrested for attempted regicide. He would have her imprisoned.

Everything would be fine for about a year, until Stella brought a small prince into the world. She wouldn't even wait an hour before three assassins were sent, one Sylvano, one for Arianna, and the last for Ophelia. Sylvano managed to fight his off and manage to just in time save his daughter. Arianna would survive, but she would loose lots of blood and end up in a coma for three months after she lost an arm.

Sylvano would kill Stella that night, having his nephew adopted out by a distant relative. He would convene the Lords and bring his sisters dead body to them. They already knew about the troubles that plagued the royal family but none the less seeing Queen Stella having been killed by Sylvano almost sparked a Civil war. That day Sylvano would amend the law for kings, stating that no mater the birth order only the eldest can take the throne- and that in a case where they could not tell whom the first born was, the monarch could only choose one heir- Corulers being banned.

Sylvano would be a loving father, after this he would disband his harem and devote all of his time to his wife and daughter, finding husbands for all 3000 women. He would then after all this find a loving man for his daughter to marry, a young but successful second son from Frostveil named William.

He would pass away shortly after his daughters marriage to her husband, publicly he died in his sleep, it is only known to the royal family that King William hung himself in his sisters tomb.
