A shriek escaped her as Lissa slid over her foot. No matter how many times it happened she just couldn't get used to it. So there she stood, now on one foot, staring down at the keldari. "Lissa! You know that bothers me." Not that Kalli got more than a flickering tongue as her answer.

Kalliope didn't like that she was so mean to the creature but she couldn't help it. Snakes and her were not meant to get along. Looking squeamish she tried to get the beast to move away. Her hands shooed and she made the noises but the keldari just looked at her. When she put her other foot down some ways away and moved back the snake followed, slithering along the ground. "Oh! Lissa! Stop." Kalliope pointed at the keldari but to no avail. When Lissa slithered over her foot and around her ankle Kalli gave a screech. "Get off, get off, get off!"

Moving through the trees, Talisia found herself racing against her xaraan. "Shyam! This isn't Oba!" The beast had protested against her riding him and instead due to a playful mood had started dashing through the trees - all the while with her satchels still attached to his back which definitely was forcing the hybrid to chase him. Eventually a few bruises and nearly a sprained ankle later -along with some curses of course- Talisia had a hand back on the Xaraan's neck. "Did...did you get that out of your system?" She panted, before brushing back some stray strands of hair. I swear if you weren't mine I'd be tempted for some Xaraan soup or something... Her gaze slid across the creature before she shook her head. No matter how much of an a** her mount could be she would never.

Screaming broke through the exhaustion and as the screams grew closer adrenaline rushed through Talisia's veins. Was someone in trouble? Her gaze narrowing the hybrid whistled and reached out her arm. Immediately Shyam swept under it and with a jump Talisia found herself on the creature's back and moving quickly through the trees. It seemed to be a more populated area so anything was possible here - especially with that tavern nearby - but Talisia frowned when she spotted the other woman seemingly dancing by herself. Or not? Her frown deepening the hybrid slid off of her familar's back and took a few hesitant steps forward, "Are you alright?" Her gaze widened as she finally glanced down enough to see something slithering along the woman's legs, "What? A....a keldari?" As her mind registered the beast, Talisia held out her hands.

"The more you move the more she'll come towards you." Talisia offered a small smile as she glanced up towards the woman, "Is...is this 'Lissa' yours?" She had heard the name in the scream right before arriving, but if this was the woman's keldari then why was she so afraid of it? That now was the puzzling part...

Kalliope once again moved, one foot going into the air to move a bit ways away from the snake before setting down to be followed by the other. With her natural grace it did seem like she was dancing. But her panicked look and spastic hands suggested this was not the intention. When she heard someone as if she was alright she turned her head to look at who it was. The Oban dancer knew it was a woman but seeing a hybrid was a bit shocking. So shocking it took her mind away from the problem at hand and allowed Lissa to slither over to her ankles unhindered. "She's mine, yesssss- AH!" When she felt the scales glide over her foot she shivered and moved.

Kalli danced delicately over the keldari so not to hurt it then went toward her savior. Only, she didn't hide behind the woman or anything like that, no, she looped her arms around the woman's neck and jumped onto her to get off the ground. "Eeeee! I'm afraid of snakes."

Lissa flickered her tongue out to sniff the air before she made her way toward Talisia. Since that was where her curvy dancer was the snake was going to follow. Though the keldari didn't quite understand that this new comer was not a threat to the Oban and as such showed defensive action. Lissa wanted her dancer back from this enemy.

Talisia just rose a brow at the confession. What would possess the other woman to own a keldari if she was so terrified of it? Though the hybrid did have to hide a laugh - it was rather amusing in a sense to watch how jittery the creature made its master. Her amusement was interrupted at the sudden touch of the dancer around her own neck. Was this a ploy to attack her? Cursing, Talisia tried to reach for her own weapon before finding her arms wrapped around the Oban to support her. What in the world?

I can't believe I just did this.

Glancing at the woman in her arms, Talisia sighed. "If this is an attempt to hit on someone then you're pretty well adapted to it." She studied the dancer resting in her arms, "But if your keldari truly is scaring you then you're only making it worse. The poor thing is probably confused about why you're screaming and only trying to comfort you." She tilted her head before glancing between the keldari and dancer, "Don't worry I'm only supporting your master who I'm letting go of now." She stared at the woman before slowly moving her arms, "Just slowly move? If you want...I can try and keep the keldari from slithering on you again."

Shyam tilted his head as he noticed another touching his master. But since it wasn't the strange blue boy he shook it off. But then the Xaraan moved next to Talisia and after looking down snapped his beak in curiosity at the strange slithering thing. A perzi and a raptrix he was used to, but that thing was just strange.

With her legs wrapped around the woman she leaned back just enough to give a glare at her when it was suggested that Kalli was doing this to hit on her. "Honey.. if I was trying to hit on you I'd offer a private dance." Truly, if it had been someone else she'd likely have jumped onto them too. She just couldn't seem to get used to Lissa slithering over her skin. As the hybrid said she was going to set her down Kalliope shook her head and remained where she was even after Talisia let go. Her thighs were strong enough to support her and she was not about to get down. "Teach it to stay off me but you are not putting me down beside it." She was quite serious too.

Lissa eyed the Xaraan as it snapped its beak. Since those weren't common where the Keldari was from she didn't consider it a natural predator. She did, however, consider it a threat. So the warnings were redirected from Tali to her beast.

Kalli pointed toward the snake. "I didn't exactly ask for her you know.. She just kinda stayed around after those yaelian beasts were set loose." Apparently her hips mesmerized more than people when she danced.

"Well I'm glad you have expertise in that field." Quipped Talisia before glancing down towards the keldari again. Just how was she supposed to deal with this? Next time I'll remember to just avoid the screaming stranger. Always seemed to be a trap for trouble lately. Her eyebrow raised as the woman refused to stop clinging to her. Really?

Sighing once more the hybrid had to look firmly at the dancer, "Look. It's not like I'm going to be able to do much with you clinging onto me. While I appreciate that you think I can protect you from a keldari the truth is if she wants to slither on up my leg towards you then it can still happen." The woman smirked, "So if that happens don't expect me to flail or run away. I'll stay right here with you in tow while she slithers her way up my leg to yours~"

Still, the snapping caught her attention and as she raised her arms to help the woman stay wrapped around her - it felt even more awkward otherwise with her arms just hanging there- Talisia glanced towards her Xaraan, "Shyam. Behave yourself." In turn the creature just snapped its beak at her before taking a step back to study the keldari a bit more.

"I suppose she must really like you then." Replied Talisia lightly, "But tell me why are you so afraid of her? If she's bonded to you then that just means she wishes to protect you rather than attack."

Oh she was not fond of this hybrid. Not at all! Still she clung to her and chanced a peek down at the Keldari. As Talisia said she wouldn't try to save Kalli from the snake if it decided to slither up she grunted and just looked at the woman. Useless! Where was Ouen when you needed him! At least he would try to keep Lissa off Kalli.

As she was asked about why she was afraid of the beast even if it was bonded to her Kalli gave an involuntary shiver. "Lissa is a snake. They are creepy! I'm grateful she's not out to attack me.. but I can't deal with her slithering all over me." Kalliope shook her head and looked down at the Keldari again. Then, slowly and almost reluctantly, she began to lower her feet to the ground. Once she was down she moved to stand behind the woman, using her as a makeshift barrier. "Lissa likes when I dance but she tries to... I don't even think you can call it crawling.." Her lips thinned as she pressed them together in thought.

Talisia just stared at the dancer before shaking her head. She felt bad for the poor keldari - why bond with someone who thought you were creepy and would reject you constantly? Still, if the keldari liked the woman then there must be some merit for her decision. "Perhaps she's trying to dance with you?" Questioned Talisia forcing a small smile, "Have you considered that?"

The hybrid reached down with her moon pendant dangling on a chain and swayed the piece in circles before the creature, "Keldari often are memorized by movement so dancing can especially charm them. If you could try thinking of her as a smooth stone or moving water then you could have a good dance partner." Talisia glanced up towards the other woman thoughtfully, "Have you tried to get used to her touch? I know scales can feel weird, but maybe if you just tried to take things slowly by touching her a little at a time...it could work?"

Trying to..? Well no, Kalli had never thought of that. "I never thought of that." A frown formed. Had she been shunning her own pet due to a misunderstanding? Well this is why she was no beast tamer. Her mother was but she certainly was not.

She watched the woman swing a necklace in front of the snake for a moment before she moved her eyes to the hybrid's face. "Okay.. I can try that.. but how do I keep her from going up my arm?" Surely Lissa wouldn't understand that she was trying to go slow and would take it as full acceptance.

Meanwhile the keldari was busy flicking her tongue out and watching the pendant as it swayed. Her thin body soon joining the circular motion involuntarily.
