Please do not ignore this. These are your steps for success here. 1. Read the rules (it is strongly recommended you read everything in the Start section) 2. Choose a timeframe in which you would like to RP 3. Create your character. When doing this, please refer to the race and class lists to aide you. Otherwise there is a very high chance of you getting something wrong in your profile, and no one wants to have that conversation. 4. Find a partner with whom you feel comfortable posting. If you do not already know someone, the Want Ads are a good place to look. 5. Post!

How do the stats work?Good question! What you need to understand about the stats is that we are aiming for the most simple yet effective plan there is. By taking the tedious math out of it, we're hoping to have an easy to follow, efficient system.
We use a comparative ranking system here, which basically means we weigh the strengths and weakness of player characters and NPCs to accurately assess the characters' levels (if you must call them that).
We only use 5 main stats:
HP Strength --divided into attack and defense Stamina --divided into resilience and endurance (basically cardio) Mana --divided into attack and defense (factors into intel, charisma, etc.) Speed --divided into macro (running speed and such) and micro (reaction time and all that)
We do not like to have hard stats set for things like intelligence, because so often a player will play a character a different way than some numerical intelligence value would suggest. Same goes for charisma, wisdom--all that; far be it for us to lock you into a one-dimensional character (but it should be noted that this does not give your character an excuse to be a Mary Sue about things).
All characters are kept in a series of ranking lists. These lists have each character ranked by each stat against other characters, and they are ranked in total--basically how well they might fare against other characters in general. This is where the system draws its strength. Basically, the more information we have, the more accurately we can gauge your character's strengths and weaknesses.

What exactly am I looking at on the main forum page? There are six sections: start/OOC (here), Main RP, Slice of Life, Timespot, Anything Goes, and the Creative Space.
"Start:"
Everything you need to know to get going in the guild.
"Hyrule Nights/Termina Days: Main RP:"
In this section you'll find our own semi-original plot. We take this section fairly seriously, since all actions in the section are considered to be "canon" to our own little story. Please don't think this means we don't want you to have fun, but if you're going to post characters that have no business in our place in time we don't really want you to post in this section. This section works well with the Slice of Life section of the guild. For example, you're having a nice conversation with somebody on the night before a raid. The others want to move ahead and you follow, but you still wanted to play that scene more. You can post that conversation in the "Interlude" forums.
"Interlude:"
This section is for times when you don't necessarily feel like going on big bad quests but would rather stay in and RP with your palz. You can use this section to supplement your main RP activity, as stated above, or can have one-off chill RPs that aren't related to the main plot. You cannot have an RP in a different time than the main RP, but you can post here at the same time you're posting in the main RP section. This section is a great tool to keep your characters moving no matter what. Please remember above all else that, though this may supplement you Main RP activity, any actions in this section are non-canon.
"Timespot:"
My favorite section, Timespot allows you to RP anywhere on the Zelda timeline(s). If you want to play out the Hyrule unifying war, simply make a thread for it in the OOT era forum. Fans of Wind Waker can sail to their hearts' content in the Wind Waker/Twilight Princess era forum. We also encourage Slice of Life/chill in this area, as plenty would like to RP that way in different times than the main RP canon. You can also post here in addition to the two sections above. Also, you should have a location section in your posting format if you intend to post in this section, as locations might be absent.
"Free RP!" (Anything goes):
If all of this still isn't liberating enough, or you simply are tired of Zelda, you can RP anything you want here.
"Creative Space:"
Here you can post stories or character journals, anything at all, really, to help you flesh out you character(s). There's also an artists' corner and contests, so make sure to at least give this section a look from time to time.
Well, there ya have it. The guild at a glance. I hope this helps you understand what's going on here just a little bit better. This guild is yours for the making, so make the most of it! C:

Do I have to start at the "Hub" post when I want to travel to a certain area? No! The hub threads and the links in each thread in the forums are simply there for your convenience. If you don't feel like using them, don't! emotion_yatta

When I'm filling out my profile, do I adjust the stats myself?
No! There's no need to adjust anything. That's our job. Just choose an option in the ranking thread regarding stat spreads. If you would like, you may suffix your stats, you may do so with pulses and minuses (+,-) according to your character's class and race.
