It was a Monday afternoon when Arian pulled the seat over the window of his guest room and settled down with a cup of tea and some biscuits to write some postcards.
The window of his room afforded a pretty stunning view across the national park and Arian couldn't help but looked out at it for a few moments as he munched on a biscuit as he put his thoughts together.
Eventually however after eating his third biscuit, he finally reached for the first of his postcards, depicting a picture of one of the steam trains on Ffestiniog railway and absently sucked on the end of his biro for a moment, before setting pen to card.
Gigi
Hi Gigi,
How are things over in Destiny City, I hope things are going okay for you and that everything is quiet.
I'm still in the UK but am going to be flying out next week Wednesday after the wedding, so there's a chance that I might be back before this postcard gets to you.
I wanted to get you a postcard of one of the tea shops since they have some really pretty ones here, but couldn't find one so thought I'd go for one of the railway I went on last week.

He took a sip of tea before reaching for his second postcard, this one depicting a recipe for bara brith.
Arias
Hi Arias,
I saw this postcard and thought that you might like to try the recipe if you don't already know it. I hope that things are going okay for you and am totally missing your chocolate mini cupcakes since it's been a while since I've dropped by the shop.
I'll make sure to do so at some point when I get back to Destiny City.
Arian
PS. I am kind of posting this late so I might actually be back in Destiny City by the time this reaches you.

Arian paused after he had finished writing Arias' postcard with the intention of getting up and switching on the light, but a few moments of switching on the light had turned into a several more moments to put the kettle on and so a good twenty minutes by the time that he had finally settled down to write the next post card with a fresh cup of tea in hand.
He took a few sips of the tea as he reached for the third postcard, the scene on front depicting the underground lake from the slate caverns that he had gone to visit and then carefully set down the mug in favour of once again reaching for his biro.
Breana & Fiona
Hi Breana and Fiona,
Hope this postcard finds you well. I've kind of been late writing this so it's possible that I may be back in Destiny City before this gets to you since I'm flying back next Wednesday after the wedding.
How is L? I hope he hasn't been getting into trouble and I hope that everything has been quiet.
I got you both a picture of the Llechwedd Slate Caverns and of the underground lake in particular. The postcard doesn't quite do it justice - it's really pretty - but I've also taken photos and will share when I'm back.

He paused and took the opportunity to munch through the last of his cookies before finally reaching for the last of his postcards, a picture from his day trip to Conwy Castle.
Anxo
Hi Anxo,
I've kind of been late writing this and so there's a possibility that I will back in Destiny City by the time this reaches you. This postcard is from a trip I took to Conwy although the postcard doesn't really do it justice - the castle is much more stunning in real life.
The wedding is this weekend and I'll be flying back to Destiny City next Wednesday.
Hope everything is going okay and that this postcard finds you well.

Arian reached for the last of his stamps depicting Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit and carefully stuck it on the stamp side before gathering up all the postcards and the mug with the last of his tea.
He'd make sure to get them posted tomorrow when he stopped by the town in the morning.
